Wow- today I received a wonderful surprise. A very good gal pal of mine sent me flowers for my birthday! I love getting flowers and these guys at Kern Place are great. They called before the came (it is Black Friday after all). The flowers are large in dive and very fresh. The roses look like they were just cut and they are opened to the perfect bud size for an arrangement. This review is based on my online order. My great aunt lost her husband of over 60 years and I could not make it to the services. I found Kern Place Florist online (they were the closest to her). I am SO pleased I went with them. Although my order was scheduled to be delivered two days after I placed it, they honored the requested I noted on the order and called me to communicate they would be able to deliver ASAP (one day earlier). She also asked if I was ok with some substitute flowers as they were out of two different kinds seen on the photos online. I advised them, that I trusted their choice. They even text me picture of what the bouquet looked like when they were done. It was gorgeous! And better looking than the bouquet in the photo. Horrible service - I paid an extra fee to have flowers delivered before 1 PM and supposably they were delivered and no one was there....yet the person who they were for was waiting for them till 4 PM...called to get it resolved and after a delivery was failed to be delivered, never was I told "hey, don't worry about it - we'll refund that fee you paid extra for" - horrible customer service...should of sticked to my regular flower shop of Casa Blanca Flowers - have never had an issue with them. read more

I ordered a mixed flower arrangement for around $40, requested a tall vase (which was one of the options they gave me) to be delivered for a relatives birthday. I had no problem with the delivery service, but when I received a picture of what I paid for I was BEYOND embarrassed. They delivered a bud vase with 5 stems of flowers. FIVE!!!!!! No filer flower, no babies breath, literally a one sided budvase with a rose, a stem of lillies, a gerbra daisy and TWO stems of daisy poms!!! Oh I'm sorry it did have a couple stems of leather fern in the back. (Smh) I actually worked in a flower shop, I have 10 years of experience with flowers, so when I was placing my order I asked which types of flowers would be going into this arrangement and this is not what was described to me! Truly, truly disappointed. As an out of state customer, that orders flowers on a monthly bases, it's needless to say I will not be a reoccurring customer. read more

I called them on the feb 8th trying to get flowers for our anniversary but they had already hiked the prices for Valentine's Day and couldn't get them to adjust it. Then there the made they had told me that they could guarantee time delivery, specially since the delivery was literally next door to them. I paid and then a few hours later I got a call saying my information wasn't right so I had to give it to them again and the lady apologized by blaming her team mate. I cancelled and ordered it for Valentines. (I did something else for the 8th). As a business owner myself with employees I know this is a huge no no. Then she said I had to pay for delivery even though it was still right next door. When my wife got the flowers in Valentines there was a net in the flowers. They had forgotten to remove their packaging from whoever they buy the flowers themselves! Lol making it more obvious that they over charged and didn't even prep the flowers themselves. About 3 of those flowers were actually damaged so even though the rest bloomed, it looked kind of ugly to me and then they didn't last but 1 day after blooming. I'd give it a 50/50 chance of you being happy ordering from here. read more

I ordered a "baby girl" bouquet with mylar balloon and card and it was my far the most beautiful arrangement I've ever seen! It was for my niece that gave birth to her first born baby daughter. This is the worst florist I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I had ordered through an 800 floral service (since I live in San Diego, CA) on a Wednesday requesting a Saturday delivery. The people I had arranged for delivery were told to wait at home for a delivery by 5:00 pm no delivery so they went out to dinner this was in October so weather was still HOT.. When they got back the flowers were sitting on the doorstep about 80-90% of the flowers were DEAD!!!! So I tried to call them on Sunday morning with no luck but message said they were open until 12 noon on Saturday, which tells me the flowers were arranged earlier in the day and driven around in a hot vehicle from at least 12 noon until after 5 pm in the October heat of El Paso. After complaining to the 800 service it was arranged to have bouquet (described as This charming basket bouquet features seasonal fresh flowers, such as spray roses, asters, alstroemeria, miniature carnations, monte casino, or similar favorites, in pretty pink, hot pink, and lavender tones with butterfly accents, too. It's sure to lift anyone's spirits! Approximately 15 inches wide x 14 inches high. Some flowers will vary seasonally --- When I ordered I was given the offer of small, medium or large at varying prices and I chose the large!!!) redelivered. On Tuesday at around 7 pm a bouquet which was very much smaller less than 6-8 inch basket with very few flowers and no plastic liner was delivered. Needless to say I am very unhappy with this florist and advise any and all not to use them as you will not get what you ordered or paid for if the flowers are even alive. You would think since they messed up so badly on the first order they would have bent over and sent what was paid for or better. What a waste which also put dampers on my parents 20th Anniversary. Please don't let them ruin your or those whom you love special occasion. read more

Horrible, absolutely horrible. I ordered a floral arrangement for a funeral. I gave them the time of the funeral and asked for them to be there early. I did not see the basket I had ordered so after the service when everyone was leaving, I asked the funeral home director if they had been delivered. He said they had just dropped them off after the service and the family never saw them! Not only that, but the quality of the flowers were appalling. This was not an inexpensive arrangement. For the amount I paid, I thought the flowers would be beautiful. I was wrong. they looked as though they had spent days in the back of the delivery van. After going in person to speak with someone about it, they assured me someone would call me back. I didn't hear back from anyone so I called them again and I'm still waiting for the call back and it's been 2 months now. I will never use them again! I wouldn't even pick a star above, but it won't post unless one is picked. read more
