I needed a large floral arrangement quickly for my Tía Emma, who is on home hospice, and Northgate Florist exceeded every expectation. I'm based in Los Angeles, and the woman who helped me was incredibly kind, empathetic, and thoughtful--she asked about my Tía and genuinely cared, which meant a great deal during a difficult moment. The arrangement--a beautiful basket with plants and flowers, including birds of paradise--was stunning, thoughtfully designed, and excellent value compared to other florists I called. It's a bit off the main path on the East Side, but absolutely worth the drive. The shop is warm, welcoming, smells amazing, and they truly work with you to create something special. First, everyone was so nice. I called on two separate occasions, both times I had easy, friendly conversations and they made it easy to order what I wanted (even from KY). Second, this was the only shop (and I called many) that was able to supply what I wanted (yellow daffodils). They double verified if they were in stock or being presently picked up. Third, the arrangement was beautiful, surpassing my own expectations. Lastly, my sister wasn't present for the delivery (her home is eastside), so they called her to ask where to place it and keep it safe. P.S. the price was affordable and they were very upfront with the price ranges. read more

Northgate Florist did a beautiful flower wreath for my aunts funeral yesterday. It was exactly as it appeared in the website. Love coming to this shop! Everyone is so nice, it smells amazing in there, and you can tell them a price and they'll work with you. My sister in Indiana asked me what florist to use here in El Paso, I recomended Northeast Florist. I believe they are the best in El Paso... she ordered flowers for my mother's 93rd birthday and Northgate Florist never disappoints. I've been coming to this florist since I was a kid. They have always had good prices, good with customizing an arrangement or having some to choose from. I got a ready-made arrangement for $65 plus tax delivered. Flowers were fresh, no wilting. The lady who assisted me was very nice. Never had any complaints with them, nor have I ever heard of any. read more

My family lives in Southern CA, so I went to Yelp and found Northgate Florist, a small-local-business vs. the 800 number-franchised operative. I was surprised at how unwelcoming the interaction was. The person working (an older gentleman) seemed annoyed that I even asked questions. It's unfortunate because the shop itself looks nice, but customer service really matters. this experience definitely left a negative impression. I ended up taking my business elsewhere. read more

Where do I begin- this is an absolute must-pick place for those who want amazing, lovely, and human-like service with masters of their craft behind the counter. I was recently given a huge gift from my friend's family and I had no idea where to begin besides flowers, and Barbara treated me extraordinarily well throughout the whole process. I know not much about flowers and she was glad to help me pick out the right ones to thank my friend's family for the gift; I just explained my situation to her and she knew exactly what I needed, and she was able to help me *that same day*. I live in California and wanted to send flowers to my niece who recently moved to El Paso. I found Northgate from these Yelp reviews and I couldn't have been happier! Cesar delivered a beautiful vase of flowers and balloons the same day! What I didn't know is that my niece lives in the back of a house so there is no delivery access to her door. Cesar called my cell phone, said he was at the house, and asked what he should do. Due to health problems I was unable to fly out for my precious stepmother's funeral. I wanted to send a special floral arrangement and after looking around the internet called Northgate Florists on Dyer St. in El Paso Texas. What a wonderful decision that turned out to be. Thank you NORTHGATE FLORIST for the beautiful flower arrangement (F-19) we selected from their website. Requested blue ribbon and they suggested blue roses to be in the arrangement. We called from California to have this be a home delivery to our cousin in El Paso. We weren't able to come to the funeral but wanted to express our love in the loss of cousin Angel. HIGHLY recommend! My boyfriend and I went in to place an order for our moms we picked out two beautiful bouquets for delivery(reasonably priced). We also asked for 6 single flowers for our aunts, we wanted to deliver personally. We went back in to pick them up. To our surprise the single flowers were beyond our expectations. I contacted Northgate Florist via phone to get a bouquet of flowers for my Mom. Ceasar was the most helpful and courteous person I have ever encountered. When I decided which arrangement I wanted, I asked that the yellow roses be replaced with red ones. Ceasar said that it was not a problem. My original delivery date had to be changed as no one was going to be there to accept the order. Again, Ceasar informed me that they would deliver it the next day. To top it all off, he sent me a picture of the arrangement that would be delivered to my Mom. I've been here before but for a more sad cause, I'm now in Austin and Called a bit late today for a flower arrangement for my mother that works down the street for them, I wanted something big and beautiful delivered. And they did just that. Although I apologize for the tardiness on my end, I'm so great full that you guys took in my order & made it so amazing. This Florist Shop was extremely helpful when I was at lost of which El Paso florists to contact. Last year when I needed flowers for a family member's funeral I called them long distance and the very kind gentleman who took my request did an outstanding job. This shop was actually merchandised better than some I've been to. Overall, their arrangement looked out-dated & overpriced. I might consider them again if I need something for a funeral (God-forbid) as they did have many that looked prepared for such. I can't believe how much flowers actually cost these days. This is my GO-TO florist for every occasion and have been using them for about 3 years. Every single arrangement I have ordered from them or picked out of the fridge has been perfect. The people on the receiving end ALWAYS have loved them and always ask me who my florist is. I always refer them to Northgate. I live on the Westside and we have many florists to choose from there...many are ridiculously overpriced. I happen to work on the Northeast and so Northgate is convenient for me. Even though I live way on the Westside, I still order my flowers from here. I've never had any bad experiences here...the employees are super friendly and always help me pick and choose what I want. The prices are very decent and not overpriced. I just ordered a huge standing flower arrangement for a funeral and I am sure it's going to stand out beautifully amongst the others. :) read more

I paid the extra $10 to be delivered earlier in the day and I do appreciate that I purchased same day at 11am and they were delivered by 2:30pm. I would have given 5 stars if they looked the same level of beauty even if they weren't the same. What I purchased doesn't have the small white flower fillers and I loved that so I was disappointed in what she received. With delivery it came out to $104.30 I just don't believe it was worth that price. Those flowers are cute where I would be fine if it's something I got at Albertsons and delivered myself. The ones I got my mom for $22 were so much more full and unique. It was my first time ordering flowers from El Paso and I had really high hopes here.

The girl offered other items, however succulents are not substituted with flower or plants. When I explained I was disappointed there would be no gift for my daughter on her birthday, the girl became rude, telling me she was trying to offer solutions. She reiterated that she called as soon as she came in. I asked her to just give me a refund, and she rudely stated, that if I looked at my bank statement I would see they didn't charge me. I am more disappointed in the girls attitude than anything. She could care less that I trusted them to deliver a gift for a birthday, she was only concerned about what she was doing. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE....wish I would have read previous reviews, stating the same thing.
