Brookes Road in Pendergrass is a 45 mile per hour road with limited visibility in places, this jac@@@ came over a blind hill, past a radar speed display at well more than 60 miles per hour. He did not slow down until the stop sign at the end of the road at which point he went around the car in front of him to make a right turn on Hwy 60 where he again ran well over the speed limit. Braked hard approaching a side road only to speed off again and turn onto New Cut Road. He finally slowed down when he saw to law enforcement cruisers ahead. I was pulling out of my neighborhood in a 45 mile an hour zone I saw a truck about a half a mile away so I pulled out it within three seconds I was at 50 miles an hour which is 5 miles over the speed limit whoever was driving this truck Ran as far as he could up my butt all I could see was his grill. He has a huge towing truck. He NEVER LET OFF when I dropped down to 40 miles an hour because the speed limit drops to 35 he was still would not stop being on my butt. I stopped to pull off the road so I could call the company to complain and lo and behold he answered the phone and proceeded to fuss me out because he thought I pulled out in front of him The only way that I could have pulled out in front of him "" is if he were speedingI will never use this wrecker service ever and that man was extremely rude. I completely understand if he was in an emergency and he had his yellow lights on but to do that to someone on a normal driving situation just because he's a tow wrecker does not give him the authority to do this to people. I refuse to get a speeding ticket because someone is right on my butt And won't let off. And just because you said the police give you special privileges does not mean that you should abuse those special privileges and stay on someone's butt and scare them Into driving over the speed limit at your rate of speed. Unless you are in an emergency situation you should have to drive the speed limit just like everybody else unless you have on your yellow lights because you are in an emergency mode. Recently I had an accident and Don Kerns Wrecker Service was called. Upon arrival of the tow truck I requested that the car be towed to a specific collision center. The tow truck driver explained that it would not be a problem and that he would tow the car there in the morning which I agreed to. A week later after many calls to my insurance company and the collision center I discover that Don Kerns never towed my car to the requested collision center and kept my car in their lot. When I called them to try and figure out what to do next and why my car was still with them the man that answered the phone was extremely rude. When I requested that he stop being rude that all I need to understand was why my car had been held when that was not what was explained to me by the driver he said he was going to now be really rude and refused to speak to me anymore. At this point another employee came to the phone that explained the situation in a professional manner. I will never do business with them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. They did not do what they said they would nor were they professional and polite on the phone. read more
