L. and I do not agree with anything that she has stated. Do not let that one review persuade you from booking with Erica! I have been going to see Erica for about 3 years. She is one of the best nail techs I have ever been too. She keeps her work space extremely clean. Her quality of work is top notch. I get gel on my nails, and regular polish on my toes. She does have her own private room which makes it nice when the salon is busy. She has a TV that you can watch while getting your toes done and always has nice calming music playing. Or during the holidays if you asked she would turn on a holiday music channel. She is focused on the customers experience and makes it her top priority. I asked for a simple updo and the stylist asked for pictures which I gladly sent & she replied with "awesome" she asked me to have my hair washed and dry before my appointment because of the time crunch which is no big deal at all since i made my appointment 2 days prior and i suppose that's a bit last minute. I asked for the price before my appt ($75) which I thought was bit steep for an updo but I thought well if it's that expensive and she's asking me to have my hair washed she must be good. WRONG. I feel bad for the lady honestly because she said she's been doing hair for a long time & was even a cosmo instructor and I think she tried her best but if I've learned one thing from having my hair done is if your ask for an updo and she doesn't style your hair at all prior to starting the updo just get up from the chair and walk out the door because you will more than likely hate it. I knew I should have just left when I had her start over twice and then began explaining to her how she could possibly do it so that i would like it. Bobby pins & hair spray was all she really did. I think she curled like a few pieces with a straightener after it was in the bun. I kid you not when I sat in my car and closed the door 2 pins fell out of my hair. I'm not sure how that was supposed to last all night at a wedding. I paid $75 dollars just drive home, take it down and do a better job myself. Don't go here for important events lucky I had time to fix my hair but it could have easily ended up in a disaster. You're better off just looking up hair tutorials on TikToK.
