I had a full color done by Bree and she nailed it. Bree greeted me at the front of the salon and escorted me to her station. She is very sweet and listened carefully to understand what I wanted. She delivered above and beyond - with an amazing shampoo and conditioner. Even treated me to a complementary bang trim. The salon is very clean and comfortable. The other stylists were also very nice and I heard them really trying to offer the best service and advice to their clients as well. I used to be a client with one of the girls here but after coming here 2x and a bad hair color job and gas lighting I didn't come back anymore. This girl I noticed in my appointments handles the phones a lot too to probably get more clients on her chair ( I respect the hustle and totally understand that part ) either while waiting or while doing your hair. She also has 2 more clients and then asks other girls to check on your hair or wash your hair. This is the only salon that charges premium but you feel the rush of things being done to get to attend to other clients. Positive: Place is easily accessible and clean. Friendly atmosphere and the girls don't gossip. Neutral: Towels could use some changing when they look dirty from the colors. Tip: Please take pride on your work if you want longevity in the business. Don't let your client walk out if the hair job is not looking right. read more

!Caution! on making online appts with this salon!! They do not call and make sure they get ahold of you personally to verify your appt. like all other salons do. So if there is an error and texts go to unknown or you don't see them lookout. Also, they only send texts before and nothing the day of and no calls. Then if you are late or no show, they slap a fee onto your credit card automatically with no contact watsoever. Mine was well over $100! I totally understand having a cancellation policy but the way they enforce is is very shady and not in line with other professional salons. I was a drop in during the week. I was friendly greeted by two ladies at the reception desk. The salon is neat, clean, and has a warm inviting vibe. I have natural curly hair, colored and cut over a year ago, with grey mostly around the frame of my face. I needed a trim and color. Sarah Tuttle did such a good job on the cut and color of my hair. I was ready to cut off my hair and she nailed it. Sarah was fired so I will not be returning to salon Kiro. The owner doesn't even live in Tucson and it shows in day to day operations. There is no help to clean or answer phones. Have come here twice and had my hair done by Rachel. I've been very happy with her services so far and prices seem on par with the local industry. Rachel did a good job of giving me feedback on what to do and made great suggestions. And I was happy to return once the shelter in place was lifted. I also loved that she worked with me to find an free slot despite being pummeled with requests once places reopened after the quarantine. I love getting my hair done by Rachael. It is a peaceful calming experience and she always gives the best advice for hair color and cut. Would highly recommend. Online booking is amazing as well through the Vagaro app. I've been going here for months now and everytime I leave the salon feeling so refreshed. I had been coming to this salon since the original owner was the only one doing services. She did hire more staff and is now owned by someone else. I have seen Emily for my cut and style after the owner left. She does a great job and is nice, she listens to your needs and gives suggestions and I appreciate that because it shows her knowledge and because of her I'm getting this three stars instead of one. To the new owner of the lack of professionalism, that's happening in the salon is very noticeable. I remember a couple girls coming up to my stylist asking what was wrong with another client of hers and I just remember it was kind of inappropriate topic to be discussed in front of me. Also, the front receptionist desk was a mess. Because my stylist is busy and I'm assuming it's because people like her, she did have to go back-and-forth from me to her other clients which I totally understand and I've been to other salons where they do that so that wasn't my issue. My issue was, I had two other girls prep my hair, so one of them washed my hair, and the other one blow dried my hair. When I had my hair blow dried there was no product being put into it, and when you're getting your haircut and spending that time and money, you want to feel like your pampered and not being rushed. This is not a reflection on Emilee my stylist. It is a note for the salon owner who seems to not be there. There's an etiquette and topics that should be discussed and not discussed in front of clients as well as the upkeep of your salon. read more

My experience use to be great but this salon has gone down hill. They are double booking and sometimes triple booking. My stylist admits they are doing so, no apologies for lateness just excuses. I've asked not to be double booked multiple times to no avail. I learned after my stylists lateness today, 25 Minutes to be exact, they don't really care. Could tell they received my google review right away and then the whispering started. It's become a very unprofessional atmosphere, too much talk about being broke and on commission. I could go on and on including a few crabby stylists and the salon has never been as clean as when Rachel owned the shop. She was a true professional with all aspects of her business. This salon will continue to go downhill unless some changes are made quickly. my last two visits I've overheard the same issues reported here today. Very unfortunate! Don't waste your money on a salon with stylists that could care less, you'll feel that vibe here believe me. My stylist, first time in over a year knew how things went today that she didn't even bother to apologize or ask if I wanted to schedule another appt...she knew!!!! Too bad you have to give at least a 1 star because this salon gets none from me. Today would have been my first time visiting this salon but that did not happen. I arrived at 12:25 for my 12:30 appointment and while walking into the salon I was called by the stylist to let me know she was running a few minutes late. Hmm..you call me 4 minutes before my appointment. Ok how many minutes, she says " oh about 20". So I decided to walk into the salon and the person who greeted me happened to be " the manager ". So I asked said manager if there was a reason why I was only called 4 minutes before my appointment time to be notified of a 29 minute delay...her response, "I don't know". Yep at that point I canceled my appointment. If you are running 20 minutes behind, you damn sure know this more than 4 minutes be your next appointment is scheduled to arrive. Next time try a little courtesy, you are not the only salon around. read more
