Went in for a perm and got two hair dressers. I don't know if one was in training, but she was really rough. I felt like she kept tugging on the hair and re-scrunching. I've been going to Wee to get my hair trimmed regularly for the past year and a half. I liked her service because it was quick and cheap. So much so, I told my sister to get her haircuts with her. The first time my sister went, the news was on about the recent protests. She goes ahead and says that people deserve to be killed because they are protesting. I am Mexican. Now I know why the last time she cut my hair she wouldn't say a single word to me but was happy to talk to other costumers. Regardless of your political beliefs, it's extremely unprofessional to talk about these things around costumers as politics is a sensitive subject. Spouse and I recently went in to have a haircut for our toddler and the haircut and overall experience fell way short. The appointment started off normal but then things kept getting sour. Wee was the one who provided the haircut for our little one and let us know she will only be using scissors since razors can be scary/loud for toddlers. I thought ok sure makes sense and that she must be skilled in scissors only haircuts. This proved to be wrong... During the entire session, she would constantly make demeaning comments about us (including my toddler!) and her own staff. We brought toys and a busy book to keep our kid occupied and as toddlers do, they put everything in their mouths and wee would make the comment that we must not feed our child. Then there's her poor receptionist who she would constantly make cruel comments about her appearance which left both my husband and I uncomfortable. Now onto the actual haircut, our kid did a great job sitting for the haircut, no tears, no fighting, no screaming. Understandably, being a toddler, they kept moving but nothing crazy as they remained seated in my husband's lap the majority of the appointment. Super patient for a toddler honestly but on the other hand, Wee was not that patient. The haircut was "finished" before we knew it (I'm talking like not even 10 minutes) and it was extremely choppy and uneven. When we asked to clean up the cut, wee hesitated and said with a huff "we can try". Should have just left it at that because it got even more deplorable. We didn't press it anymore and thanked her for the cut. She didn't offer to brush off the excess hair or blow dry it off. We were just promptly directed to her receptionist and we quietly paid and left to clean ourselves off out in the parking lot. Price was $18 plus tip and honestly you get what you pay for. I think that if Wee was genuinely a kind person and she never made all of the cruel comments it would've been fine but since her overall personality and vibes were so awful we left feeling so uncomfortable and guilty having put our toddler through that. read more

This is a small shop located on the north west side of town. The staff are very friendly and try to ask you as many questions to get exactly what you need for your haircut. I will no longer be going to chop shops after getting my hair cut by Wee! I have very thick hair that needs to be layered or else I cannot do anything with it. Wee did an absolutely amazing job, my hair felt super light and fluffy without taking too much of my length off. The prices are super affordable ($15 for a wash and cut). Wee is also very personable. i have a very bad experience with this place, i walked in and ask for a hair cut for my son. The lady name Wee's she gave my son a haircut, we have to ask her twice to fix my son hair after she finish. The haircut she gave, it still didnt look right, my son hair on the right is thicker than the left it looks crooked and she didnt even blend in very well. We left with 3 layers of hair sticking out, around the ear she didnt even clean very well some long hair still sticking out around the ear. and at the side burn she just chop it off and didnt even blend in the hair. I ask her to blend in a little better and she didnt want to do a job. I am so regret to stop by her shop today, she said she been there for 7 years and she said she had a lot of experience with kids haircut. I was on vacation and decided to kill some time by getting a trim. I went through yelp to find a salon with great reviews, especially since I'm not from here. I walked in cheerful and was completely ignored. I waited around to be helped and no one seemed to know what they were doing. Another lady walked in, Caucasian lady, and was helped immediately. I asked if they could squeeze me in for a cut and was ignored. I asked my question a little louder and the owner gave me such a disgusted look. I have never felt so disrespected. She looked at me like I didn't "belong" in her salon. No one answered my question and after looking like an idiot to be helped, I could see how uncomfortable the other customers seemed to look. I am all for small businesses but this is not a place I would recommend. They couldn't even say hello. Save your time, money, and energy and go to place willing to help their customers. Well I was really looking forward to my appointment at Wee's after seeing all the positive reviews. I called and left a message two days ago. Yesterday I got a return phone call and the woman who called me back from Wee's apologized for not calling back right away. I said that was fine I figure you must be busy. She set my appointment for today at 3 which is when I can arrive from work. So far so good! I arrived about 5 min from my Appointment and checked in with who I was to find out was Wee. She said their was no appointment for me. I explained how I had gotten the phone call yesterday etc. and she said I think you have the wrong place and I said no, I only called one place. She said I (Wee) was the only person here yesterday and I am Wee and I didn't talk to you. So I pulled out my phone and went to incoming calls, pulled up her number and hit redial and then showed her my phone as hers was ringing. She said "I am Wee and I was the only one here yesterday and you didn't talk to me". So I said no problem and walked away hoping she'd say let's reschedule or maybe we can fit you in. Nothing.
