But one of the books for her classes was not in stock. We spoke to Rebecca and only then realized that the purchase order for all of my daughter's books, though submitted, had not yet been received by the bookstore. Technically we should have been told, "So sorry, can't help you. Go home, wait for the P.O. to come through and then come back." But Rebecca was too good for that. She looked over the P.O. and confirmed that my daughter was a student. She then made a copy and said she'd take care of the paperwork for the three books that were in stock once the P.O. arrived and let she us take those home. She also took my name and number and called me 10 days later when the last book finally arrived. When I showed up to retrieve the book Rebecca was on the phone but recognized me, put the caller on mute for a second and directed me upstairs to the book. As I walked past her on my way down she handed me a note that helped speed up and simplify my checkout. Rebecca is absolutely amazing. She makes the bookstore and LA Mission a little bit sweeter.
