Excellent popcorn! 5 flavors are advertised as vegan, there are possibly more but it could not be confirmed. The food truck was at a food truck festival where I work today. They gave out a lot of free samples and offered deals like if you bought 1 small you could get a second bag for just $2 and some deals were if you bought two bag you could get a third all for $10. Cheddar - No crunchy shell, but still had a great texture Sour Cream and Chive - Tastes similar to white cheddar. Garlic Parmesan - One of their specials. Not too strong in garlic flavor. Cajun BBQ - Spicy with a smoky BBQ taste. This one has a crunchy shell. Chili Lime - One of my favorites. It's spicy with a hint of lime. I think they put celery seed in the spice mix which gives it a really complex flavor. Really addicting. Zesty Ranch - Also another punch of flavor. Tastes similar to the Chili Lime, but slightly more cheesy. You definitely have to get the original, but my favorite is the Chili Lime. They'll give you a discount the more bags you buy. My absolute favorite popcorn place is Pittsburgh Popcorn Company (...in Pittsburgh...), but since I can't easily get popcorn from there, this truck is a worthy replacement. I just wish they would come down to the Lower Manhattan area. Like right by my office would be nice, instead of those annoying buses. They have a prime location right at the exit of the free ice skating rink, Citi Pond, and fortunately for them, kettle corn is the perfect post-skating snack! The line at the food stand was a bit long. I think it's because of all the free sampling people do when they get to the front of the line.. I admit, I was guilty of this as well! The line moves quickly though if you know what you want. While you wait, you can see them making fresh batches of kettle corn.. the smell and sound of the popping corn makes your mouth water as you wait.. drool.. We tried: Original - each kernel of popcorn is completely coated with a sweet crunch with a dash of saltiness mixed in Caramel - not overpoweringly sweet, good if you like caramel Cheddar - good cheesy flavor Cheddar N Spice - cheesy and spicy.. YUM (a bit salty though) Spicy Cajun BBQ - like bbq potato chips with a kick Chili Lime - the lime flavor is very subtle I had a Groupon for 2 large bags of popcorn for $10, regular price is $9/large bag. After all our sampling, we ended up getting 1 bag of the Original and 1 bag of the Cheddar N Spice. Oh, my lord. Their motto scarily hits the head on the nail. This stand's kettle corn is popping delicious. Sorry, cheesy popcorn, you're moving down the list now ! I do admit I had my doubts. How good could popcorn be? I snorted as I watched tourists buy bagfuls upon bagfuls of kettle corn. I turned to stick my nose in the air but stopped when I caught a whiff of super yummy caramel-y goodness. And then I saw that they were giving out free samples of their flavors. Like a good Asian, I marched right to the booth, both hands outreached. Their original flavor made me swoon. But that would mean I would have gotten trampled by all the other customers. At $4 dollars per bag, this stuff ain't cheap. But between the mobs swarming around the stand and overhearing about their 3 for $10 deal, my boyfriend (he especially liked the banana flavor) and I left the stand with three warm bags of the original flavored kettle corn. We may have overdid it a little... Warm to the touch and not-sickeningly sweet like Cracker Jack, this kettle corn may be the best popcorn I've eaten...ever.
