Made with their local bacon and tomatoes. Loved the atmosphere, the cafe had a cozy vibe. We were seated next to the gas fireplace. We had enough privacy to talk, noise level was normal. Order your food at the counter, collect your condiments, napkins, and Salt pepper shakers at long counter. Then sit down and enjoy yourself, until they bring it out. Service was very quick. After we cleaned up our plates and table. They have a place for you to put your dirty dishes and cups, along with trash, and recycling. Then we went into the bulk grocery part to look around. We both ended up buying sweet treats for later. I bought a cherry fry pie. It was super fresh and tasty. I enjoyed it with my evening herbal tea. I also bought some rice and a few other staples. I will definitely be back for a 2nd trip. They have a lot going on. The place was super clean. Items easy to find. It's not all bulk, they have their items from small to bulk, so if you are in a 1 or 2 person household, do not let the bulk in their name scare you off. It's worth a trip, for some organic homemade items.

The very next morning we returned to the store to inform the owner of the mistake and requested a Raspberry Pie and her response was "to talk to the Pie lady"... not the response we were looking for. The not so accommodating Pie Lady was only willing to give us a half credit, she wanted us to bring back all the pieces.(LOL) So buyer beware this owner takes no ownership of mistakes and thankfully we had no allergies to Rubbard! They had lots of local foods, a deli, some baked goods, canned foods, jams, candies, cheeses, and bulk foods and ingredients. They had a few Amish goods that I recognized as being shipped from Lancaster and Indiana Amish areas. The staff were very friendly, and this was a great stop!

Angela went over the cut sheet with me and we set a date for delivery. Her prices were cheaper than other local farms for grass fed beef. And if we had more space, we'd have ordered pork too! Angela was able to have our order delivered to a 1/2way point where we had another appointment happening. Everything is labeled and vacuum sealed! While we didn't actually see the farm in person, we are happy with our product and will order again in the future!
