I ordered pistachio, and there were a ton of pistachios in it, although it was green which to me means they put artificial colors in their ice cream, and it was a bit heavy for me. My friend got the peanut butter ripple flavor, and he said it was good. There were quite a few places to sit and enjoy the ice cream outside, including a shaded park.

The interior is the same as always, while the available flavors are unpredictable, but a taste makes everything right in the world. Their flavor menu has been updated to indicate which flavors contain gluten and which ones don't. They also now have a protocol for those with strict gluten allergies. This time it was spring, so they didn't have my favorite Jalepeno Popper this time around. But they did have Lavender. For the second and third scoops we got Pistachio, followed by Butter Pecan. As a reminder, they use 14 percent buttermilk, and their ice cream emphasizes FLAVOR over sugar. Despite the high fat content, their ice cream doesn't feel heavy while you're eating it. Take that as a warning, since you might feel it after you consume too much. The Lavender was fantastically floral. The Pistachio was like eating Pistachios. Each flavor is exactly as described. Previously, I had also gotten my coworkers ice cream from here several years prior. Hand-packed into pints, you'll need a serious amount of self-control to avoid finishing them in a single sitting. They've also opened up a location in DeWitt Mall on the Seneca Street side of the commons.

So I was headed to Buffalo by car from NYC and while visiting a rest area I noticed this pink…read moredrink, it was strawberry milk. I was like that's kinda odd, strawberry and chocolate milk in a stand alone fridge? I ended up buying the strawberry milk and Holy Moses, this was the easily the best strawberry milk I ever had. I also noticed it was pretty expensive, it was a small container for around $4.50 but I bought it anyway and wow was it worth a buy. It was so good, it was so good it actually made me make my way to their actual farm and take god their milk was cheaper at the farm. I also asked since I noticed the employees were wearing very distinct clothing if they were Amish? The employee said it was similar but they were Mennonites. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=FJpVePPXalf0iGdM0UXSng The food: Strawberry Milk- This is a must get item. It was $5.75 for a half gallon. I loved the strawberry flavor of the milk and I love the creamy texture of the milk. Chocolate Milk- I think this was a great chocolate milk but not as distinctive as the strawberry milk. Strawberry Ice Cream- This very similar to the strawberry milk, but not as rich a creamy as the milk. I enjoyed this but the milk is my favorite item.

Unfortunately my visit wasn't as super as it has been in the past. My coffee cup's lid didn't fit, and my panini was soaked in whatever sauce they used so it was very soggy and messy. Imagine asking, "What would an ice cream stand be like if it were crossed with a fine FLX winery in a beautiful farm setting?"--that's exactly the vibe here. Elevated, serene, and absolutely delicious. The facility and grounds are immaculate, with a peaceful, pastoral atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they generously offered samples so we could explore the flavors before committing (dangerous, because they're all incredible). We ultimately chose three flavors: * Cookie Monster (Real Cookies & Cream) -- Their take on cookies & cream is next‑level. It's built on their handcrafted vanilla cream base and loaded with hearty chunks of their own legendary chocolate chip cookies. Think of an ice cream sandwich turned inside out--rich, decadent, and deeply satisfying. * Fleur Bleu -- A gorgeous blend of local organic blueberries, subtle French lavender, and their classic vanilla cream. It's delicate, floral, and beautifully balanced. This one kept us slowing down each bite just to savor the nuance. * Ditch Mint Chip -- Made with hand‑picked fresh mint and dark chocolate chips. Bright, refreshing, and leagues above the artificial mint flavor you get elsewhere. It was excellent, though admittedly overshadowed by the other two standouts. The frozen custard itself is among the best we've ever tasted--rich, creamy, and unbelievably smooth thanks to their signature use of local duck eggs. Even the vanilla base was a sleeper hit, with a depth of flavor you don't expect until it hits you. The setting is perfect for a Finger Lakes outing. Whether you're spending the day visiting wineries, hiking the gorges and waterfalls, or just exploring the region, you need to make this a stop on your route. It's one of those places that elevates your whole day. A truly special spot. We'll be back.

Before you read this review. I want to preface this with, I have only been there once. EVERY…read morerestaurant in existence has had days where things they cannot control happen. I will definitely go back, and eat from their food menu, and take pics. I didn't take any pics, because our experience didn't seem to align with all the 4 and 5 star reviews. which signals to me, that our experience may not have been a normal experience. We had never been and had not heard much about it. I checked out their website first. Which is a fun looking website. It appeared to be a diner that also sold ice cream. We pulled in, there were outside tables set up under shaded canopies. Lots of space for kids to run around We noticed the front had a walk up and order Ice cream window. Past that was the door to the restaurant part. The restaurant inside area was small, The menu sounded amazing. Chili dogs, fried hot dogs, they had some interesting hot dog ideas, as well as Hamburgers, fish plates etc. shakes, Ice cream. Very laid back atmosphere. If you have kids, it will be a super, affordable win. It definitely has its place in Lodi, and I do see they are a big success with Ice Cream and take out. Which is what I wish we did. The first thing that hit us when we walked in was the smell of fish, it was a super strong offensive odor. I looked to my right and saw a few people at the table with fish baskets. I thought to myself, that must be where the odor was coming from. But wondered why they smelled so bad. We sat down, ooh'ed and ahhh'd over the menu, but still nose crinkled over the odor of fish. We decided that the kitchen must not have good ventilation either and we were smelling every fish fry they had cooked that day, and maybe even more days. I do not recommend eating inside. Then we noted the flies. We were swatting left and right. I know restaurants have flies, it is hard to keep them out of the kitchen, and they are expected in outdoor seating, but inside the restaurant. Nope! That's even a Big Nope for me. Little miss outdoors. We decided to leave the indoor seating area, skip lunch, and ordered Ice cream outside at the window. Dessert for lunch felt a bit naughty, in a fun way. Yes, I heard it too. I am an adult, that doesn't like adulting. Haha! We ordered soft serve twists. Our rational being that just the soft serve machine needed to be clean. So there was no chance of flys landing on it. We are not weird germaphobes, but once your brain starts down that rabbit hole, sometimes you just cannot find your way back, that was us. We were down the rabbit hole. The Ice cream was really good, ALL of the employees were very nice. We felt no judgement leaving the table and going outside to order Ice cream. While we were waiting for our ice cream, the wind shifted and the odor was just disgusting. This was outside, we took a look around and we found a Porto-potty on the side of the building. Just around the corner from the Ice cream pick up window, and next to that was a Dumpster. So take your pick on what caused the odor. While we were in our car we decided to play a game of what we would do differently, if we owned it. This what we came up with. 1) Deep clean the inside eating area 2) add ventilation to the kitchen and dining area. 3) add a mesh, magnetic fly door. 4) make sure employees are also swatting and disposing of flys. 5) move dumpster to front left side of parking lot. 6) buy a portable- potty trailer, those will need magnetic mesh fly doors on those as well.
