The shop itself was warm and welcoming and the store owner was our server! When we asked for recommendations he jokingly said: "I made them all! Their all my babies!" My friend got the salted caram flavor and the texture was great, but, the flavor was a little too sweet for me! Simple gelato and espresso bar. Unfortunately during my visit everything was disappointing. Their cooler was broken so the attendant had to "go to the back" for each scoop. ( long delay) I ordered a lemoncello which when presented was a sherbert and not gelato. I ordered a latte with whole milk. The attendant had only 1% (awful) and pointed that out while he was mid steam. It might be ok on another occasion but I left feeling less than Meh. read more

A nice respite and reward for our college halfway drive home stopping point. Very friendly proprietor who was very helpful in sharing the flavors. Almond espresso, chocolate extreme, banana foster.... all excellent. A cute town with a beautiful lake. We'll have to return to check out this picturesque region and some more gelato! read more

Ehhhh - the gelato was super artificial tasting & very gummy in texture and consistency. I overheard the staff say to a customer asking about the weird consistency "oh the chef says that normal. It's sort of marshmallow in consistency." I don't know about you...but gelato is NOT marshmallow in consistency and should not be gummy. The inside was pleasant and clean but for the $$$$$ and the iffy gelato, I'd pass. read more

A bit pricey in my opinion... I got a 5oz gelato and my friend got a very small milkshake and the total came to just under $13! The gelato flavors I picked were black raspberry and kiwi; the flavor was good, the texture/quality not so much. The kiwi had some gummy-like pieces in it as if it has been sitting in the cooler a while and is getting old... and there was something a little hard in the black raspberry, but it didn't look like the seeds. As for the shake, my friend said it had a lot of ice pieces in it... a milkshake shouldn't have any ice in it, so I would classify it as more of a smoothie having been made with ice. On their menu it looked like they had a lot of specialty coffees, and loose leaf teas as well as bubble teas. If I were in the area again, I might stop in for a drink, but would not get gelato. read more

My only complaint is that they don't open until noon. No, I don't want a breakfast gelato burrito (but honestly that's a fantastic idea), rather Geneva Gelato has the best espresso in Geneva. Okay, okay, not a high bar, I admit, but here's the thing - it's actually good! Is it the La Marzocco machine? The beans from Spot? A talented eye for the pull? I have no idea. While it wasn't a shot of espresso I'll remember in my twilight years, it definitely met my expectations for what a legitimately good espresso should taste like. I left as happy as I was surprised. It took us a few attempts to find the little store front (it has a tiny yellow sign so if you are from out of town (as we are) it took some doing to see it. I'm so glad we did. It is a very cute little place and yet Scott (the owner) had many gelato flavors as well as sorbets to choose from. He makes them all himself each day. Glad I drove all the way from Marcellus NY to this place because their pdf flyer on their website claims over 50 flavors listed. There were actually about 15. So because they had a cappuccino machine I opted for that instead. Boy what a mistake! The gentleman tried to tell me that a cappuccino has little foam and what I wanted was a latte which had more foam. Classic flavors as well as some unexpected ones: chocolate hazelnut, green apple, rosemary and olive oil, pancakes and maple syrup to name a few, and you can sample different types. Tried them for the first time today. When we got to the counter they offered us tastings of any of their flavors. Everything I tasted was good. The gelato is very creamy and delicious.
