This is a great boat, in good condition. Ray and Robyn were very helpful and efficient in getting us a boat in good working order after finding out they needed to repair the back light in the first one we got. They gave me a free T-shirt for the inconvenience of having to wait for a different boat. No problem with this new one and what a thrill to watch the flares all around the lake last night, a ruby necklace surrounding the perimeter of Keuka Lake! I loveeeee this place. Jetskis are fun, lost of other things to do!! However this was the 5th year we have been and it was a little different. In years passed we have been able to ride if you have a license. My 17 year old sister has a license and was told she couldn't do that this year and it jacked all our plans up so we had to get another time slot. When this clearly upset the rest of our party one of the girls working rolled her eyes and said to the rest of the guests "I have no problem telling people bad news". Then once we got out in the water the same girl says "not to be racist but the chinese people are always slower" to which I responded "maybe it's their first time"? When it was time for my sister to go on the jetski we get out there and it's a little cloudy but not to bad. It progressively gets closer and the water starts to white cap. I check my phone to see lightning is now 10 miles away!!! I start to drift away and go back to shore because the lifeguards pulled people out of the water and you shouldn't be in the way when lightning is that close. Same girl comes up to me and tells me in a very rude tone to not go out of her area I respond and tell her the lightning is too close to be on the water and she says it was alright. Then lightning starts visibly striking in the water. I start taking the jetski back because that is dangerous and yet again she says that's not ok and we were still not going back. Same thing happens one more time before we go back. My family will continue to come back here but I urge somebody to make better decisions regarding weather. Also the comment made to costumers about other costumers (especially about race) was extremely unprofessional and unexpected. read more

Boat rentals from here go off without a hitch and are the perfect way to experience a beautiful summer day on the lake. Renting a pontoon boat from Keuka was the highlight of our trip to the region and the perfect way to spend the day. The boat arrived right as we did and was accompanied by a safety and operation lesson and then we were off. With the great boat we explored the lake, had a ton of fun, and even visited a local restaurant for lunch after tying up at the dock. The boat had great control and power for cruising the lake and even had Bluetooth speakers for us to play music while we enjoyed the sights of the lake and a dip. For a group, there's no better way to explore and experience the lake. read more

Wish I could give more stars than 2. Just checked our invoices, confirming that we began storing and winterizing our boat with Keuka Water Sports in 2012 through the winter of 2017-2018. Approx 6 years. Greatest strength: picking up our Larson at the public launch in the fall and having it waiting for us at the launch in the spring. Areas in need of improvement: Seemed kinda pricey and disorganized with regard invoicing and other record keeping. Will leave it at that. While I cannot honestly give KWS high marks, I wish them well and trust/hope that others will have a better experience. read more

Keuka Watersports was very ill-prepared for our jet ski rental. We arrived on time for our rental, yet had to wait for two other parties to depart. We were effectively penalized thirty plus minutes because of their inefficient system. Additionally, we had to listen to the employees and owners discuss how they would handle late arrivals, etc. which was all information that should be discussed behind the scenes. No apology at all. Then during the jet ski ride we felt stalked by our 'guide' who followed us all over and yelled at us for going 25 in a 45mph area. Upon arrival back to the dock the staff did not assist with safe docking of jet ski. Very poor service, inefficient, and overall not worth your time. Seek fun elsewhere!! read more

The boats are top notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time. The only downfall was the price. It ended up being around $650 for 6 hours, which seemed to fly by. I figured, being an "all day" rental it would be at least 8 hours. I'd definitely recommend though, and I do plan on renting again. read more

Did a pontoon boat rental yesterday and we had a great time. Best part of our 5 day trip in the finger lakes. The rental process was the easiest it could have been. Easy in...easy out. Staff was very helpful and easy to accommodate us when we wanted to change the reservation to a sunnier day. Very kind staff and helpful when planning the day and what parts of the lake to see. The boat was very comfortable for my wife, and two sons (ages 3 and 4). They boys actually fell asleep as we were cruising back into the doc to return the boat. This place had it all--jet-skis, boat rentals, paddle boards... The downside is that the business site isn't on the lake, so you have to drive down 2 minutes to the lake and wait for your equipment to be brought in by the business. (We waited about 25 minutes) After the employee brings your equipment, he stays during your time slot, watching from his pickup. LOL. We first rented a jetski. Even though the machine was rated for 3 individuals and we fit under the specified weight limit, their rule only allowed for 2 people at a time. That was a disappointment, as my daughter and her bff wanted to ride together with my s/o... Still, they had fun taking turns. Next up, we had to drive to another part of lake Keuka where the paddleboard and kayak people are on site. Lots of fun here...until my daughter's paddle fell to the bottom of the murky lake. BEWARE--make sure they give you a paddle with a floater attached!! The price we were penalized: $80. Shame. Never again. We'll purchase our own and bring it on our next road trip. Overall it was a fun day that could have ended better. read more

As a summer vacationer for over 20+ years in the Finger Lakes region, I make it my point and promise and good will to ALWAYS support the small businesses in the Finger Lakes. I recently purchased a jet ski and was recommended to this establishment for repair. When I called, I was greeted promptly and professionally, with a promise from the employee that the management would call me back. For what I'm about to say, I realize the year 2020 is rough for everyone and we as citizens are all stressed out, but I was raised to treat people with respect and at least be kind. The management, did stay by their word and called me back, however, when I asked and inquired on the phone about repairing my jet ski, the management proceeded to be short with me and reply to me on how repairs are not a priority and as a potential customer, I was not a priority and the management didn't have time to "deal with me." Now, I understand people have bad days at work and it happens, however the tone and how it was worded really left a sour taste in my mouth, and I know many other marinas and repair services on Keuka Lake that we've worked with for our boat-would NEVER talk like this to us. I was extremely disappointed and saddened by this, as again, I want to support small businesses with or without a global pandemic. I give them good credit for a fantastic location on the lake for rentals and I've seen their inventory of watercraft-and without a doubt, the inventory is beautiful and the latest on the market, but when it comes to repairs, just go elsewhere and save yourself the time if you're looking for jet ski repairs. So on my birthday I decided to take my daughter and wife for a jet ski ride. Considering that I am the only one who knows how to operate it, i remted just one jetski with a plan to have my daughter and my wife ride with me as a passenger say half an hour each. Upon arrival I shared my plans with the girls that are rendering the service and i was informed that switchovers are not allowed per company policy. Very politely I explained them that I didn't bring a group of 15 teenagers and that this policy in general doesn't make any sense. So the girl called the owner and after brief conversation she informed me that it clearly states on the website "NO PASSENGER SWITCH OVERS". So I ended up riding just with my daughter and having my wife stay at the shore for one full hour. Being a business owner myself I understand that it is important to have rules but sometimes we just have to remember that clients are actually real human beings... And exceptions can be made Also I went through entire website and didn't find that rule, unless it is in a 70page agreement... I am sure that owner is going to respond with something like "I'm sorry and blah blah blah blah". Which I am confident that he is not... Hence, one star for good jetski... We have been renting from KWS for about a decade. Their service is always great and the boats have always been wonderful. This year, we rented two different boats and each of them were basically brand new. It's nice to see that they continue to update their selection and adding to their rental selections. Went in to rent paddle boards for a week. The people in office, couldn't even get out of their chairs! When I asked price they pointed at wall and said $195 -- I told them their website said $150. They once again pointed at the wall and said 'Nope, $195". If you can't even get out of your chair to make a sale AND don't have correct pricing, I say you don't want the business very bad. I went to Morgan Marine, they were helpful, friendly and appreciated the business. Keuka Watersports needs to get some training on customer service. DEFINATELY NOT a place to do business with. read more

Let me start off by saying that no business has ever made me want to write a review like this before. Most businesses are great, but it's the one that go above and beyond that make you want to let others know about them. Lance at Keuka WS has seriously restored my faith in humanity. He is the most down to earth, honest business owner that I have ever encountered. I recently bought a boat off of him that was on consignment. He bent over backwards to help ensure a smooth transaction and even launched the boat multiple times for me to test drive it when the first test drive didn't work out too well due to a bad gasket. Easy enough fix and he made sure to take care of it quickly so I could test drive it again. However, that is not what is triggering this review. Unfortunately after purchasing the boat and only a few hours of use in the first weekend, the boat started to experience some major problems in one engine. I contacted Lance and he told me to take it to his mechanic to see what was up with it. Turns out to be a bad ECU and will cost $2,000 to fix. Lance, being the absolutely amazing person that he is, told me that I shouldn't have to drop a dime on a pre-existing problem like this and that he would ensure the cost would be fully covered even if he had to step up and cover the entire bill himself. I was left absolutely speechless when he said this to me and I will forever be grateful to him and his business ethics. Went jet skiing today for 4 hours and an hour into it we wanted to know if we could just pay for one hour and leave since it wasn't as exciting as my first experience at cedar point. When we asked if we could drop the hours to one instead of four, Lance, the big business owner not so kindly HAD to explain to me how to run a business. It was a simple yes or no question. Which honestly was very rude. No big deal if we couldn't. There would have been no issue if a simple, " Unfortunately, we can not do that." was said. But for him to sit there and ask me " what are you going to do for me now" and go on about how to run a business makes me not ever want to come back. I will gladly drive 5 hours away to cedar point instead of 1 hour here. I never asked you how to run a business but if i ever have questions i will definitely go to Lance with those questions since he clearly knows how to talk respectively to customers...not. read more
