It hurt a bit but I was numbed and didn't think much of it. When I got in the car I saw it turned into a noticeable blister and was getting more painful. I decided to politely ask what I could do to speed up the healing process and instead of giving me real advice the dentist implied that it was a cold sore! At this point I'm frustrated because the dentist is denying responsibility and because I now have to go into my customer facing job with a painful blister on my lip. He eventually admits to it and admits noticing it during the procedure, but assures me it won't leave a burn mark (it did) and that I wouldn't be charged for the previous dental cleaning (I was). I have been a long time patient and this comes after dealing with some strange scheduling and billing practices as of late. I would avoid at all costs!

He's the best dentist and has a wonderful staff, as well. State of the art equipment and a newly designed second floor for pathetic procedures, Invisalign, etc. large comfy loungers to relax in while you wait. The receptionist who answered the phone is soooo rude and disrespectful…read more I called this morning because Dr Anderson did my filling (not even a year later) and that tooth has had sensitivity when I drink or use mouth wash. Well last night I flossed like I always do and the filling came out. Now that side of my mouth hurts and I tell that to the receptionist and she said he won't be available til Monday. I ask will it be covered and she said since they have to do it over I would have to pay again. I explained to her about the sensitivity, and how I have other fillings from other dentist & it never fell, this isn't on me so why would I have to pay again. She cut me off saying she can't help me & she has to ask the doctor. I asked her , her name and she hung up on me. I called again and she answered and hung up.

Went to Dr. Rudy for a second opinion and he said "I think we can save the tooth" and he did. He is now my regular dentist and has done several crowns and cavities. He reviews the work to be done that day and also reviews recommended future work. I'm a bit tense during procedures and he regularly checks as he does the work that I'm doing okay. Dr. Rudy and his staff are all friendly and willing to answer questions.

The crown was not sized for me. Dentist in Texas (I had to leave the state for care) said it was a high bite that could have easily been fixed. However months of GNO Dental refusing to fix their mistake caused the damage to continue and required immediate surgical removal of the tooth. And treatment for a serious infection. Not to mention all the pain I went through. All because i didn't go to high school here. I couldn't believe they asked me this. It's a test to decide if they want to help you or hurt you. So hateful! I was shocked that they left me waiting over an hour past my appointment time to accommodate other "local" patients arriving after me. I now wish that had been all they did. Unfortunately their hate went beyond that to doing careless work with no concern for my health. I can't stress enough that anyone that moved here and doesn't pass the "high school test" should stay away. They clearly don't care about patients from "elsewhere".

I am fortunate not to have had many issues in this arena, but Dr Boudreaux and his fantastic staff have always taken great care of me. An anecdote: back in the 1990's, I was flying to Europe when a painful abcess in my gums evinced itself. While a big fan of Euro-style socialized medicine, I was understandably leery of their less than glamorous track record in the field of dentistry, so I waited to address the situation until I returned to our brighter-smiled shores. Dr Boudreaux took a look, said he would take care of it and 20 minutes later said "your root canal is done". All my life, "root canal" was an analog for agony, but I didn't feel a thing nor even know I was getting one. I don't know if there is a business or individual I recommend more heartily than Lakeview Dental Center and Dr. Boudreaux.

The woman upfront said my daughter had to be honest about how long it's been. And that if she wanted to be seen, she would have to pay for her x-rays out of pocket. I wasn't asked about x-rays over the phone. And it wasn't like my daughter was lying about anything. Her insurance pays for x-rays yearly, and we didn't know that. My daughter said she's thinking about staying with her old dentist, because she doesn't like being accused of lying.

I've had a cavity that's been causing debilitating pain for the past month and they still couldn't find it after all of the X-Rays and pointing around for it. Instead They tried to pull a tooth out that was broken (But not broken in a way that caused pain) and not the tooth that's been giving me pain.
