My front load washer had a pump failure, won't drain…read more After determining it was the pump that failed, not the motor, we called around for a specific Kenmore water pump. It was easily found on the internet but who wants to wait a week or more to see if you get the right part? We called around and the places we called referred us to Glenwood Appliance. So off we go.... I happened to bring the broken pump with me, I walked in and was greeted by a smiling young lady who asked what she could do for me. All I did was raise the pump and say I need a new one of these.. before I could tell her what it was, she said I have those over here.... Holy smokes, you kidding me?! I really like it when employees know their stuff! She brought out a small box, cut it open and BINGO! The exact make and model with the same part number even. This small shop had a factory part for a 5 year old front load washer, man what a relief! My machine broke down last night, tonight it will be back in action! The people here are knowledgeable and resourceful as she let me know that the next time I need anything, i should also bring the make and model info, just in case they can cross reference it with a part from another brand! I hired Jason to replace a failing wall oven. The installation is under a cooktop, making it a much…read moremore tricky installation, as the spacing is incredibly tight to work with. Jason showed up on time, and came in to look at the situation before removing or unpacking the new product. The wall oven that needed removed was very heavy. He handled it like it was nothing, making sure there were blankets and coverage for anything that may be damaged if anything slipped or fell. He took the old model out to his van, and unpacked the new oven to get it ready for installation. The new model was a bit larger than the old one, so he had to do some modification to the cabinets, and also making sure the wiring would stay out of the way. It was no big deal to him, he literally got inside the cabinet to make sure it was all done correctly and fit. Once he was finished the modifications, he put the new oven in, and it fit perfectly. He cleaned up all the garbage, took it away (along with he previous oven) and he was done. The process was smooth from beginning to end. I will be hiring him again for an major appliance installations.
