We considered Rover but were turned off by how transactional the service is... and then we stumbled upon Krissy, our dog whisperer. She came into our home and lives with so much love, energy and attention for our pups. She checks our home carefully and the outdoor plants, starts our extra car and backs it out to run for a few minutes when she checks the house. Char did an excellent job taking care of our 3 parrots while we were away on vacation…read more Parrots are a bit more challenging than dogs/cats etc because they are so smart and devious, the little devils, lol. When I got home the birds were not stressed out as they have been in the past with other sitters and it appears she did a little vacuuming, the birds typically make a mess with crumbs etc in front of the cages for a couple of feet. Every time we checked in she was there as scheduled, the alarm cycled on and off right on the marks and their food and water bowls were obviously well maintained as was needed. She is a great lady, very friendly and asks the right questions, she is a professional. I thought I was going to stay over for a couple of extra days and she made herself available if needed so I could extend my vacation, although I ended up not extending, it was comforting knowing that I could if needed. We will not hesitate to call her again for our future vacations. I am very very reserved when it comes to giving access to my keys and alarm codes, not in this case.... Need a pet sitter?
