Local dive bar- fun for locals but not a tourist attraction. Beer is cold and the bar staff are great.

Literally every venture is a waste of my money and I suppose a punishment to my wallet is what I deserve for continuing to contribute to a business that I don't support. However, one of their only high lights that lead me to this dead sports bar is the fact that they are open before 4:00 p.m. Now that COVID came to town, people don't go to lunch anymore apparently according to businesses. If you want bland fried food for an average price, you will most certainly get what you're looking for. They don't season their baskets of fries, onion rings or pickles (when they had them). Literally plain batter. I did get a side of chipotle aioli and it was in fact, Mayo mixed with some chipotle sauce... not the bomb aioli's that I have had at other local places. The drinks are always over priced. I don't quite consider Stoli that top shelf for $8.00 vodka drinks. Nor a captain and coke $8.00 but maybe that's just me living in the past. Most of their pints are over priced. The wells are $6 which is fine but I don't know what they keep in their well because any time I have ever asked for a drink, it's always $8.00. I guess I need to inquire about the Burnett's special? I had an $8 draft mango craft which was fine, fun but had I known I could have nearly bought a six pack for one pour, I would have gone for an old fashion White Claw.. if they had it. Don't bother asking for a cider. They have none on draft and the two that were available were Stella for those who love mouth puckering artificial sweetness and some craft one that the bar tender had no idea what end of dryness/sweetness it was. The can of spoke of Juniper tones so I passed. I literally hate this place and am only giving it two stars instead of one because I'm the fool that continually agrees to go back to this over priced dump. The staff leave little to be desired typically. I won't judge today because restaurants don't staff accordingly anymore but the lack of personality and knowledge of product astounds me. Be better... go anywhere else.

We did get there slightly before 5pm which allowed us a quieter atmosphere for the first part of our meal. We ordered the mushroom and fennel sausage flat bread for an appetizer. It was amazingly flavorful and had super fresh mozzarella. We also both had a cup of the cold pea soup. It was thick and creamy and had a beautiful presentation. For our main meal, my husband ordered the salmon. He said that everything was cooked perfectly and it was quite flavorful. I had the public burger and truffle fries. The burger was juicy and huge! The fries were nicely seasoned. The service was great, as well. Our waitress was attentive and the manager came by and spoke with us, as well. Don't miss this place if you're looking for a delicious meal!

This spot is popular and was relatively full even for an early dinner at around 5. My fiancé and I had the Brie burgers. Loved the concept but note that it seems more of a Brie spread than actual slices of Brie. Still tasty though. I didn't love that the bun was a tad cold. The Parmesan truffle fries are on point! So amazing! Portions for the burger and side of fries are generous. The spanakopita app was tasty but a bit salty. Service was okay. I'd totally return here if in the area again but, IMO, it didn't quite live up to the hype of earlier reviews. The food's definitely solid but not at the level I'd make a special trip here. There are two gender neutral restrooms, which were well appointed but the floor was a bit slippery due to folks tracking in snow in the winter. They may want to consider extending some mats to the restrooms. I was worried about my Mom, who is a senior with some mobility issues, slipping on the floors near the bathrooms.

This is not the case here - all of the food we had was made in house, and you could taste the difference. The beer battered fries had a thin flaky coating that made them irresistible. The buffalo calamari was cooked perfectly, piled up, and topped with blue cheese crumbles and green onion. Don't even get us started on the boneless wings... also, the ranch and blue cheese dip were out of this world. Guess what? HOME MADE. We came here to watch a Sabres game, since we heard there were a ton of TVs to watch the games. And we ended up being surprised with a fantastic dinner and great service. What a great night.

Honestly, they had a ton of potential, but they didn't deliver. The calamari was soggy instead of crispy. The balance of other items was pretty off. It looked pretty, but didn't taste good. The calamari was bitter in addition to being soggy. The balsamic glaze added a sweetness, but it wasn't offset by enough salty/spicy. It was served with a tomato sauce that didn't go well with the toppings. It was an odd dish. If it wasn't so late, I might have actually sent it back (which I do probably once every 10 years). Fresher, crispy and less bitter calamari might have been enough to fix the balance. My dinner companion had a sandwich with a bun, lettuce, apple slice, fried chicken, cheese, and bacon. I think it might have been a special. It was ok. It came with Saratoga chips, which is why we picked the restaurant. We wanted to get Saratoga chips in Saratoga. Unfortunately, they were hard and cold and bland. Lots of TVs. Service was meh. I felt like they were put out for serving us. There's a good bar vibe. If I were to eat there again, I would go for beer and wings.

This cozy long space in the front section of the bowling alley offers a good vibe with plenty of TVs, sports memorabilia on the walls, a full service bar with seating, regular tables and high top tables. There is also an enclosed outside patio area and big tent with more table seating. The food menu offerings offers a selection of appetizers, burger/sandwich plates (with hand cut fries), wraps, salads, soups, pasta dishes, steak, chicken, seafood, and daily specials like flatbreads, turkey clubs, and lobster rolls/lobster mac n cheese (seasonal). The prices seem fair. I stopped by The GOAT in North Adams for dinner very recently. I could seat myself at any table and the server came over with the menu & specials list. The place was fairly busy with most seats at the bar occupied with several college football games on the TVs. I got an ice water and ordered the Italian Pasta Bake ($17.99 plus tax). My food came out in about 15 minutes. The good portion was comprised of firm grilled Italian sausage, firm tender meatballs, thick marinara sauce & melted mozzarella cheese over soft linguine, and a hot chewy piece of bread on the side. I managed to eat about half of the pasta dish before asking for a to go container. The check with Heartland QR code was presented, which was $19.25 with tax and before tip. Overall, the Italian Pasta Bake was a good choice for a filling meal. I almost ordered the Clam Scampi Bowl with a side salad, but perhaps next time around when I'm very hungry. The service here was friendly and prompt.
