Initial impression can be a bit dodgy because it's super old and worn, but it really grows on you. Tiny menu but perfect for a quick old-school snack of burgers/dogs/fries. And the hard working staff is super welcoming. I usually sit right next to the door that opens/closes nonstop but I never mind. I always find myself saying "hi" to literally every stranger that walks in. It just ooozes with that increasingly rare "locals only" vibe I love so much. After half an hour sitting at the counter I start to feel like and honorary local. It reminds me of the Tasty in Harvard square I used to hang out at late night. And the total lack of posturing is a welcome and refreshing change from the fine dining world I tend to gravitate toward. A hot lunch for under $10 - WINNING!
