I called to set up an at home appointment for a sliding door latch. I sent pictures to the service well in advance before they said they would stop by to assess what could be done. When the service arrived I was quoted an amount for a possible repair of $150 to $200 but was warned that they would not guaranty that they could fix the lock. I was also quoted a cost of $400 to replace the door latch. How does that make any sense. I could buy a new sliding door with that cost. We disagreed on pricing point and I did not engage their service. I was asked to pay a service call fee of $40. Why would I pay for a service that was never provided? refused to pay and the servicer left. This was never disclosed upfront. I wouldn't recommend this business. read more

So Google says they open at 9 AM I arrive at 9:05 they are closed I checked the posted hours it says opens 930am. So giving them the benefit because google is not always accurate I wait until 935 I call at 9:35 AM and ask him what time do you open some guy answers on the other line sounds like a cell phone. He tells me they open at 10 so I tell them Google says 9 has posted hours say 930. He says OK I will be there in a few minutes I asked him what is few minutes he says 20 to 25 minutes which puts him at 10 really what a waste of my time read more

Who would have thought you could find a top quality locksmith in a kiosk in an old raggedy parking lot! Seriously, don't be intimidated by their location as these guys are great. They boast they can fix or repair anything that requires a key, and I think they can. I needed the passenger side lock on my 2003 Mazda truck re-keyed; it took 45 minutes, but they got the job done. Their prices are fair and reasonable (though you may want to purchase that extra car key from Home Depot as I paid $8 for mine with no chip). Anthony at Key Zone 'thought' he fixed my remote. I graciously gave him $50 for 45 minutes of his time since he didn't 'charge' me. Unfortunately the same day the remote was only working intermittently until eventually two days later it did not work at all. I returned to Key Zone and asked him if he would be willing to at least give me $25 back since I did not get a working remote. He refused and claimed it was my remote. Yes of course it was my remote but if he wasn't able to fix it he could've told me that on the first day and I wouldn't have wasted $50 or his time trying to get it to work. Found this place on Yelp. They did an awesome job in cutting a new key for my car with no issues. Fast and reasonably priced. The guy who helped me in the strip mall shack is a bit dry and an old school classic "G" type, but he got the job done and didn't waste any time. I definitely can't complain. We called Key Zone based upon information provided by Google. The dispatcher indicated that someone would be at our home between 20-40 minutes. The technician arrived after 2 hours. We used for an estimates to repair two locks. He took apart the locks before giving us an estimate. The price he verbally quoted was less than what he actually charged. When asked for a detailed invoice, it didn't equal to the amount charged. In addition one of the replacement color was different than original. The second lock was only partially repaired. My advice to anyone considering this vendor to get a written estimate before the work begins. read more

Short story, I was charged $90 to rekey two locks at their location and they did not work. I went to another locksmith who charged me $60 for two new locks including the rekey. I am not a locksmith and I would have hoped that the "Professional" would have told me that new locks was a better option. read more
