This place is incredible! I visited them yesterday with my brother, who was getting keys made and getting his car alarm remote fixed. Both Sean and Ian were very attentive, and though a throng of people were also getting keys copied, they handled everything extremely quickly. Even with the special attention of changing out the car alarm fob, we were only kept waiting about15 minutes. This morning we encountered a problem with our garage door. It didnt open with our clickers. So we tried to seach in yelp of a locksmith who knows how to troubleshoot our garage opener. So we called them and they said they will have their technician give us a call. When my husband spoke to their technician he said he is familiar with our Genie garage opener. So when he came, he said he will charge $60 to check out/ to diagnose what was wrong with our garage opener. After his examination, he said the motor got burned and we need to replace the part which will probably cost us $600. And they will come back tomorrow to replace or fix it. Good thing my husband asked me first if we should go ahead and have them fix it. Because i found out after i called genie customer care, that our opener has no motor damage instead we just need to set the limits again. Lesson learned: ask the expert first They may be good at duplicating keys or opening your locked house or car door but not with fixing your garage door opener. And i dont think they will give us back our $60 after the wrong diagnosis. read more

I got four of my keys made here Alfredo was a great help very nice guy very professional I recommend this place.

Please do your self a favor and don't go to this locksmith. If I can give this rating a zero I would. Here is why: 1. For a simple door to open they charged me $267. I don't mind paying but they are not honest. They also issue me a fake receipt, no company name, phone number and specifics. 2. When I called them and questioned the charge, the guy that I spoke to immediately said that I called a different company and that the technician who came out to my house is not affiliated to them. He claimed that his technician kept calling me and I did not pick up. Note that I only called one vendor and only gave my phone number and address to Key Zone locksmith. So how is it possible that the technician is not affiliated to them. Its either the guy was dishonest or his technician is doing something illegal giving phone numbers to other vendors. You guys better investigate this. This is very scary scam. I would have reported them to LAPD, too! 3. The guy who I spoke to on the phone who I believe was the owner of the business curse at me and used the words F you! I told them that I am going to write an honest review to yelp and he was mad and continue cursing at me. So yep, if I can give them a negative score I really would. Stay away from this dishonest business. They are a scam and not safe to deal with. read more

I can't believe all the good reviews of this company. Maybe Nathan was having a bad day. needed three doors rekeyed. Nathan came out and installed them. After he left, I saw that one of the locks was upside down. Also the key he made had only one "valley" in the middle and no other peaks. My opinion was that the locks could be easy to pick. A screw fell out of one of the handles and I found it on the floor. I tried to screw it back in but it just turned and turned. I called another locksmith (Integrity) about a week later. Phil fixed all the problems and charged me less than half of Key Zone's price. While making the keys, Phil found that one of the locks had only three tumblers and another one had only five. There should be six tumblers in each lock. So long Key Zone. read more

I lost my daughter's car keys and unfortunately we only had one key and one alarm remote. I called 5 different places and each place still had to call me back with a price. After waiting for 30 minutes for call backs, I called Key Zone and John was able to give me a price and was available to come within 20 minutes.
