Poke bowls, chirashi, cucumbers, seaweed salad. The best Mac salad not too much mayo, it has tangerine slices in it which is a welcome flavor and larger cuts of onion. I crave this... Clam chowder is delicious, creamy, thick, every bite has clams and potatoes etc. I'll need a bowl of this not just a cup next time. Overall, it's out of the way for me to go here but worth the drive and will be back to try their other goodies.

We've had their fresh poke several times and our favorites are the spicy ahi and traditional ahi, and their mac salad is similar to what you can get in Hawaii. Chirashi bowl has a great selection of maguro, salmon, hamachi, shrimp, and egg, all over sushi rice. There's a great selection of fish and we appreciated them cleaning and scaling our branzino that came out delicious on the grill. Prices may be a little higher than other markets, but you can definitely tell you're getting top quality. No seating available to enjoy your chirashi or poke bowls, but plenty of parking. This place can get busy on the weekends so suggest you go early to get the best picks!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #103…read more This review is specifically for the BF Cafe & Bakery located inside the Edmonds Ranch 99. I wouldn't normally get boba here, but Ranch 99 was offering a $2 boba promotion at BF Cafe with $30 grocery purchase. I might as well try the place for just $2. Green Milk Tea ($2) - Strangely enough, the first flavor to emerge is the taste of coffee. I wonder if there is some contamination going on here. Perhaps the water dispenser they use for the tea is the same as the coffee. After the coffee taste, there's a bit of smokiness and bitterness. Finally, a layer that's like an unpleasant concentration of Chinese herbs. Like a mixture of wolfberry, jujube, and whatever else is in a Chinese herbal medicine concoction. It's not a pleasant taste and reminds me of what my parents used to treat me with when sick as a child. I didn't adjust the sweetness, but it's surprisingly not very sweet. Probably 25% sweetness compared to most boba shops. The boba is not made in house and is preportioned in plastic packs, like in premade boba kits. The texture is decent, perhaps a bit leathery and firm in chew, but decent bounce levels. Since they only use a single pack of boba for a 22 ounce drink, there's not nearly enough (typically a single pack is for a powdered 11 ounce drink). Milk Tea Rating: 1.5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 So yeah, the drinks served here aren't the best. I haven't bought any pastries or bread from BF Cafe, but I'm sure they are better.

He's…read moresomewhat right as it has a similar feel, but the portions aren't giant and the prices on many things are indeed competitive. The big attraction here is the Bulk section that has many options - rice, pasta, beans, grains and more. My frequently visited bulk section is the pet treats area. scored chew bones for the pup here at a great deal and less packaging than if I go someplace else. I like how they target us consumers with literal signs showing the price comparisons to the likes of Safeway, Walmart and my personal favorite Fred Meyer which is my main grocery shop and even some prices at WinCo beat them. At the same time, not EVERYthing at WinCo is a deal, or if it is lower, it is negligible. Sticking with the pet food, a 6 individual cans of Purina One, (my preferred) dog canned food is $1.85 here, down from $1.99 at Freddies, I'm all about saving money and frugality, but I couldn't imagine going out of the way for that. Alcohol here is actually more expensive that Freddies or otherwise here at $12.99 for Georgetown 6 packs, compared to $10.99 at Freddies. These are but a few measures, so I know there are deals to be had, but it pays to be a savvy shopper too. My hang ups here are they don't take Credit card. I'm sure that's to help cut down on their expense and middleman, etc. but that's annoying. Also I don't know if it's me but it just feels even more cramped in here than the already cramped markets, we all frequent. I felt like I was constantly blocking somebody even with my cart pulled all the way to the side. Beyond that WinCo is ok.

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

I'm a huge wine person, but wasn't in a wine mood, so didn't get any, however, they had a lot of incredible wines to pick from. Our server was super sweet and attentive. We shared the mushroom melt and green salad. Both were so delicious. The salad was filled with tasty and fresh goodies. The sauce was really yummy. I love that our sandwich came with brown butter popcorn. The space is really cozy. They have shelves of wine, bar seating, and normal tables around. There isn't a bathroom in the space, but they have a key for a bathroom within stores it's attached to. There was street parking out front. I recommend checking this spot out for food and wine.

I'm here to review the food, which is great and unlike other menus in the neighborhood. Here, you will find "bar food" elevated so high it could hold its own among fine dining. My mom and shared a few plates: the Vinbero club, the spring pea risotto, and the kale Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. The club is packed with thinly sliced chicken breast, crunchy bacon, and fresh tomatoes, greens, and avocado. The contrast between the bite from the aioli on the inside of the sandwich and the sweet tartness of the balsamic drizzle on the outside was fun and unexpected. The kale caesar was very fresh with a great dressing. But for me the star was hands down the pea risotto. Perfectly creamy, vibrant green, and packed with fresh spring flavor. It appears they change up their risotto offering every so often, and it's gone now, but I will dream of that one until it appears again. Our server (maybe the owner?) thoughtfully split our sandwich onto two plates (hence why the photo only shows one half) and added the side of popcorn to both plates. A nice touch. The inside is a little small and dark though well-appointed. Their mini patio outside is crowded and uncomfortable. But they're doing their best with what the space they have. And truly the food is a standout in the area.
