After seeing several drs in my area I was so pissed by their suggestions, treatment plan and costs. Yesterday I returned to the area specifically to see Dr Yingling this morning. It was definitely the right choice. This was actually a pleasant experience! 100 percent recommended. When you try to talk to them about it, they shut you down and blame it on the patient! When I made online complaints, they tried to shut them down with astonishing speed! Literally, 11 minutes after I posted a complaint. The Chambersburg office manager called their Gettysburg office and my dental office. The point I am making is they deal with these complaints a lot, and they have a system to shut down complaints quickly! It's a shame because the work they did was good, but they will suck every penny out of you that they can! My insurance even said it appears like they did scans and things that they knew would not be covered. Beware and you better ask some very detailed questions about your bill prior to agreeing to anything or signing anything. It's a lousy way to be as a person and it's an even worse way to run a business!

I went here to get a dental plan started to fix my teeth so we discovered i needed some teeth…read moreremoved, I came in a few weeks later to have my teeth removed and everything went fairly well, the assistant wasn't very attentive however. at one point i moved her hand out of the way so i could get a piece of my tooth out of my throat that she failed to suck out or remove. The dentist, dr drake told me if im in pain to let her know and she would prescribe me better pain medication so i went home. Three days later i call in because i suspect i have an infection and im in a lot of pain, its a friday, two hours from close, i ask the receptionist if i could be seen today before the weekend so i can get medicine to treat my infection and she tells me that they don't have time to see me until next week, unless i could make it in in the next ten minutes, which i obviously couldn't drop my whole life that very second and get in a car and go.. so i ask, could i get better pain meds at least? Dr drake said to let her know if i needed it and she would give it, then she said hold please.. five minutes later... just take some Tylenol that should help. (It didnt) turns out, i did have an infection. I'm seeing a different dentist now.

Longer version: I called to see if the office could get me in earlier for my appointment for a crown, which I had made a month previous. They called me back to say that I needed to see an endodontist prior my appointment for the crown, which had already been scheduled. I called the endodontist and couldn't get an appointment until after the scheduled crown appointment. When I called the office back to explain this, they wanted to push out the crown appointment. I gave them feedback that it would have been helpful to be told about the need to see the endodontist prior to scheduling the crown appointment. The office manager dropped me as a patient, telling me that I wasn't happy with the practice and that I should find somewhere else. Clearly, they didn't care about an existing patient who was experiencing dental pain, who they had seen and established a treatment plan. Now, I have to start all over again with finding another dentist who will have to do their own evaluation prior to defining a treatment plan.

June7th, 2003 I was so happy to find First Choice Dental…read more hey was so nice. I got my dentures, then the dog ate mine-yes she did-lol, I was honest about the whole thing. But, when my husband dentures broke the first time-they fixed them poorly- and they broke again in the same spot where they had "fixed" them to begin with. The thing is when my husband went back to get them again- they falsely reported the dog ate them(which was a lie) they told the insurance company this and charged him a extra $450.00 and proceeded to call him a liar. I am so so disappointed in them for doing this. My husband wouldn't lie about it. So, if you are thinking about going there- don't-save your money! smh...I wish there was a way to fight this. Not enough hygienists. Please do yourself a favor and go to another dental office that actually cares about your oral health and appreciates your patronage.
