Since we moved to the Chambersburg area 13 years ago, Dr. Palm has performed some of the best dental work for my family that we have ever had done. I am a retired dental hygienist and am still familiar with some aspects of the dental office. I really like how he explains what he is about to do before he does it. When a local anesthetic is required, somehow Dr. Palm is able to administer it with minimal discomfort. No one likes to go to the dentist but it is easier to leave Keystone Dental with a big smile on your face if Dr. Palm was your dentist.

Longer version: I called to see if the office could get me in earlier for my appointment for a crown, which I had made a month previous. They called me back to say that I needed to see an endodontist prior my appointment for the crown, which had already been scheduled. I called the endodontist and couldn't get an appointment until after the scheduled crown appointment. When I called the office back to explain this, they wanted to push out the crown appointment. I gave them feedback that it would have been helpful to be told about the need to see the endodontist prior to scheduling the crown appointment. The office manager dropped me as a patient, telling me that I wasn't happy with the practice and that I should find somewhere else. Clearly, they didn't care about an existing patient who was experiencing dental pain, who they had seen and established a treatment plan. Now, I have to start all over again with finding another dentist who will have to do their own evaluation prior to defining a treatment plan.

Three days later i call in because i suspect i have an infection and im in a lot of pain, its a friday, two hours from close, i ask the receptionist if i could be seen today before the weekend so i can get medicine to treat my infection and she tells me that they don't have time to see me until next week, unless i could make it in in the next ten minutes, which i obviously couldn't drop my whole life that very second and get in a car and go.. so i ask, could i get better pain meds at least? Dr drake said to let her know if i needed it and she would give it, then she said hold please.. five minutes later... just take some Tylenol that should help. (It didnt) turns out, i did have an infection. I'm seeing a different dentist now.

He's the best Dentist I think I've ever been to!! I had a dental emergency this morning. At 6 in…read morethe morning I started having SEVERE tooth pain. I did the usual...Advil and Orajel and called around to find a dentist that could take me ASAP. But it being 6am, I could only leave voicemails for different dentists. When I called Dr. Cerveris' office I had to leave a VM. However, after I left a message I got a text message. I was shocked!!! I couldn't believe a real person listened to message before they had opened and responded back immediately. At first they didn't think they could fit me in, but she would have the doc listen to msg and then let me know. So I was a little disappointed, but was still very pleased that they even took the time to contact me. About 45mins later I got another text that said the doc could fit me in that morning!! Yay!! I went to my appointment and I was taken back to be seen right away. I did my initial evaluation with a tech then Dr. Cerveris came in about 2 minutes later. He checked out my tooth and immediately diagnosed my tooth pain. He said I needed to have the tooth pulled. I said great, let's do it. He immediately got his tools out and went to work. First thing was I needed numbed up (local anesthetic). He doesn't numb patients the usual way. He said he's got the latest technology in local anesthetic. He used a machine that pulsates the medicine into ur gums. I didn't have to be poked with a giant needle like Ive always had in the past. The way was a lot more effective and less painful. Also not as much anxiety from seeing a long needle going in my mouth. He completely numbed me up then 10 mins later he and his assistant got the tooth out. And that was that!! No more painful tooth!!! He was super nice, empathetic and understanding of my pain. He is warm and nice to talk to. His staff was also very nice and empathetic. I like that he's a small practice, it's more personable. I told him right then and there that I'd found my new dentist!! I HIGHLY recommend him!!

Returning to follow through with a good plan of treatment for preventative repairs and cleaning. You can feel the genuinely caring vibe here. Perfectionists! Both…read moreDr. Tim and Dr. Erin met us at their office within 30 minutes and did what they needed to do to make our son comfortable for the night. We returned the next day for them to perform a root canal and make a temporary crown for our son. The temporary crown looks so amazing that no one believes that it's not our son's natural tooth. Both doctors took their time with our son and did everything possible to make him comfortable and look his best, especially given the trauma to his mouth. We were thrilled with their care for him and our family will be their patients for years to come.
