This is my favorite sandwich so far (Italian Pork)

A great new spot on my drive home from NYC. We always order the cheesesteaks with the signature cheese sauce. So delicious! This time we ordered The Italian Pork sandwich...meat was juicy. Great flavor combinations. Bread is definitely homemade and takes the sandwiches to another level. Friendly staff!

Being a Philly area native, it was a pleasant surprise to go hiking in Harriman and find this Pennsylvania-style sandwich shop nearby. Great rolls are a must for a great sandwich, and damn does this place have some great rolls! They appear to either be baked in house or by a bakery nearby (perhaps next door?). I couldn't help but to be gluttonous and get 'The Polish Hammer', along with gravy fries. The sandwich was essentially a standard kielbasa and sauerkraut sandwich, but with pierogies on it. The fries were homemade, very good. The staff was friendly. The whole experience was very pleasant. This place is a gem, especially for the area its in, and can compete with some of the best sandwich shops I've been to in the NYC, Philly, and Pittsburgh areas.

First off, it's huge. The roast pork was cooked with love and attention and then sliced up in this heavily sandwich. It is a packed sandwich and can be a little messy but it tasted so good I didn't even care. This could 100% be shared or bring home for a second helping later! The salmon bowl was cooked to perfection and had with a nice Teriyaki sauce. If I had one "compliant" it might be that there was a little too much sauce on the bowl, but it was delicious. There was plenty of space inside and outside under a roof. So it's available rain or shine! Most people may not be on this road if you're a frequent thruway goer but it's worth a detour on the backgrounds of Orange County for this gem! Can't wait to get back there to try the baked goods!

Having valet service makes the visit comfortable, the grounds are well kept (including the Koi pond) and the host desk is always friendly and accommodating. The food is always prepared as requested and the service is second to none. The staff is well dressed, cordial, and ready to tend to every course and need. Mt. After that, service slowed to a crawl. We spent much of the night politely waving for drink refills, and there was a long wait after soup and salad before the chef arrived. The full experience clocked in at nearly three hours -- enough time to consider dessert elsewhere. The restaurant has been renovated, but the hibachi experience itself wasn't exactly a showstopper. Our chef was very animated and did all the expected tricks, but with nearby chefs singing at full volume, the atmosphere felt less like hibachi and more like an impromptu karaoke night. The prices were steep -- nearly double what similar hibachi spots charge -- and unfortunately, the food didn't rise to the occasion. The filet mignon and sirloin were underwhelming, the chicken was generously coated in teriyaki but somehow still lacked flavor, and the green tea soft serve arrived with an unexpected chocolate syrup drizzle that definitely did not ask for permission. While this place is clearly popular and booked months in advance, the experience wasn't unique enough to justify the cost or the time commitment. There are plenty of nearby options offering the same hibachi show without the three-hour runtime.
