We tried this Primo Hoagies on the spur of the moment a few weeks back. Needless to say, it's not your typical chain or franchise sandwich shop! We had chicken cutlet, corned beef, and Audiablo turkey heroes, and each was delicious. The seeded rolls were unexpectedly good, as was the cole slaw. All ingredients were fresh and the sandwiches were flavorfully-seasoned. (Note that if you don't like spicy food, you may want to make a substitution for the hot pepper cheese on your sandwich.) The staff is as terrific as the food - it feels more like going to a familiar neighborhood deli than a chain. Kudos to the management team for creating such a comfortable atmosphere. Also, they appear to take Covid-19 precautions seriously, so don't hesitate to get take out, and look forward to a return to dining-in. Highly recommended! read more

The new owners are amazing, wonderful, kind, I could go on forever. One of the owners Felix personally welcomed my fiance and I into the shop and recommended some hoagies (go for the chicken cheesesteak!). Elena rang up our order and was the SWEETEST! Stopped in here today just to try it. Was very pleased with my sandwich. Had an Italian all the way. Meat was very fresh . The toppings & seasoning were fantastic. The workers there were very friendly and quick. The price is what you would expect from a place that uses quality meats. Remember here in Mahwah some places charge $6.50 for a bologna sandwich.
