All for the sake of refinancing. I informed Scott about the delays with the refinancing process. At that time American financing was stringing me along, as well, so there were unexplained delays. I have never had a refinance to be so laborious. They insisted we have the insurance in place, if for nothing else a better rate for my benefit. End result, I currently have NO INSURANCE ON MY HOME. The necessary steps were not taken once Safeco, (former insurance carrier), was canceled and Farmers the new carrier was secured. Now, Scott is back-peddling and passing the buck. He is suddenly NOT responding to emails. Meanwhile, after 20 years of homeownership, I HAVE NO HOME OWNERS INSURANCE. Which, in my humble opinion is the MOST important issue here.
