When my venue, Leonard's Palazzo, did not have the chairs I requested, Stylish Events gifted me their chairs to use. They also provided complimentary cake decoration- my cake looked beautiful. My guests took home the floral decor in bubble bowls which doubled as ceremony decor. They said it was the most stunning wedding set up they have ever experienced. I booked Stylish for my Jaago and Reception. I am 100% satisfied with their work and service. They have a lot of experience and relationships with the local vendors so I was not concerned at all. I got married in June and had the most perfect, magical wedding day! I see below that Stylish Events has gotten some mixed reviews, but I had such a positive experience to the point where I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much Stylish Events exceeded my expectations on my wedding day! I actually got to know Stylish Events because it was a preferred vendor from my venue, and all the other florists were either pricey or not good enough. But we worked with Tara, who was the sweetest person and the best to work with! She helped me create a floral package that fit my budget and included some free items/upgrades as well :) My colors were ivory, rose pink, and natural greens. I reviewed some images with Tara at our meetings and sent Tara some pictures of what I wanted from online sources. The whole process with Tara was so smooth, and she accommodated all of my requests throughout the process. When I received pictures of our centerpiece sample 3 days before our wedding day, I was a little disappointed. The flowers were nothing like that I had envisioned, as the sample centerpiece looked really patchy with lots of empty space. At first, I wasn't going to say anything, but I realized I should be happy with my flowers on my wedding day, so I expressed my disappointment and found some sample images online of what I wanted and asked if I could have these images recreated. Tara let me know that she could recreate all of my images, so I put my faith in her and awaited wedding day. When I saw the florals for the first time on my wedding day, all I could say was "Wow!" She made my florals even more beautiful than I could've imagined, and everyone around me couldn't stop commenting on how pretty the flowers were. My fiance and I reached out to Stylish Events because they are an in-house vendor for our wedding venue (Leonard's Palazzo) and connected with Bharat (uncle) immediately. He accommodated my late office hours and met with us in the late evenings to create the perfect package for us. We met twice in order to make sure we were satisfied with the package we were designing. We met a third time after I got my outfit to finalize the colors of the design. Each consultation was informative. Bharat uncle took his time to make sure we were happy with what we were getting and made sure we were able to get everything we wanted within our budget. We booked Stylish Events for our engagement party (staging and centerpieces), as well as for our wedding and reception (still to come in Sept. 2018). We held our engagement party at Cotllion and Stylish Events seriously transformed an otherwise small space into something magnificent! I had a general idea of what staging would be like, but the centerpieces were something new that the team put together, so I had not seen them prior to arriving at our venue. IMPORTANT REVIEW. Please read! I had one of the WORST experiences with Stylish Events. I am attaching pictures of my wedding from what I wanted via a google image, to what I received and to what happened. The stage I wanted - the only thing changed were the curtain colors to a golden color which honestly looks yellow to me (see image attached). I also wanted chandeliers as you can see in the google image but because they were so brightly lit as per my decor image, you can't even see the chandeliers. Isn't it your job as an event decorator to fix the lighting of your stage? Also, the cherry blossom trees I asked for were not the ones I wanted. I asked for the trees as seen in google image and the ones I got were so bunched up and just a disappointment especially when I specifically said I don't want the trees that they typically use and he OKay-ed it. He said they'll be more filled but they just looked so bunched up - see image. And then the chairs...... that's a whole different story that I'll get to and the part that literally ruined it all for me. I worked with Bharat who I honestly called an uncle because he made me feel comfortable and treated me nicely but it was all just a business tactic from what I learned. He simply did not care. I got married on June 22nd, 2019 at the Hyatt in Long Island. I spent about a LOT on my decor even more than what I originally wanted to. But I didn't care because you only get married once and I thought I was going to get a fantastic stage. I am very particular about the chair that I sit on as a bride and my overall stage as most of our pictures for Pakistani weddings happen on stage. I spent all my money towards my stage and even did not include some centerpieces so that my stage would be perfectly as I envisioned it considering my budget. I picked the chairs and even confirmed the stage with them. DAY OF: My coordinator was with me at stylish when we finalized decor and was there day of to manage. When she saw the HUGE obnoxious metal silver rimmed chairs she panicked and called me and my cousin and sister. She knew this wasn't what we decided on. I was doing my makeup so I couldn't come to see it but my sister and cousin were arguing with bharat and stating to change the chairs as that's not what I picked. He was not willing to change it and said it's what I picked. How could I pick silver chairs when my theme and outfit is red and gold?! See attached. I was on the verge of tears. I controlled myself and since bharat was being stubborn and wouldn't change it, my family was trying to console me and said the chairs would be covered once you sit on it but NO. The silver chair shows as the chairs were so huge and obnoxious and just not what I wanted (see attached). To this day, when I see my pictures from my stage and wedding on stage, I want to CRY. It's been over a month and I can't get over what happened. I've been dreaming of a perfect stage because photos last a lifetime but stylish and bharat ruined that part and did nothing to help. Bharat did not admit he was wrong until the reception day when he told my other family member that he "accidentally" switched the chairs from the wedding day to the reception day. As you can see in the attached image my reception day I am wearing silver and white so the silver chairs make more sense for that day. Bottom line: YOU DO NOT DO THIS TO A BRIDE ON HER WEDDING DAY. DO NOT GO TO STYLISH, THERE ARE A LOT BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE FOR YOUR MONEY AND THOSE WHO ACTUALLY CARE. Not only did they overcharge me for what I didn't get they also did not help us or accommodate us when we wanted to make the changes. I am very very very disappointed with them and had it not have been for my coordinator to warn me, I would've came into this stage scene with a surprise and gotten upset. It took some time but a bride shouldn't be looking at her photos and paying attention to these details. But how can I not when it's so obvious! Please take your money somewhere else. Stylish Events was nothing but amazing, accommodating, unique, and most of all easy to work with. Having a COVID wedding is nothing fun nor easy, but every time I went to Stylish and spoke with Sunny he made me that much more excited for my upcoming wedding. We had originally booked Stylish pre-COVID and then the world turned upside down. We continued to move on with our wedding and do it in our backyard. Our backyard DID NOT look like a backyard, it looked like a venue. My vision from each of my venues came true and on the day of our wedding, my breath was completely taken away. I really had high hopes for Stylish Events, but when it came down to the day of my wedding, so many things were wrong. I first met with Sunny and everything was great. We went over my ideas and he took great notes of what I was looking for, showing me samples of previous works he had some similar to what we wanted. We had a darker aesthetic we imagined and were looking to go heavy on greenery and candles with just touches of dark maroon flowers. We had two meetings where he showed me references that matched what we wanted. The second meeting is where all the details really needed to be nailed down and he did provide examples of what we wanted. Unfortunately the meeting was online, so we didn't have any pictures to look back on. It was just on the screen at that moment and I had to trust he was going to follow those references. Everything was going fine and we were always in contact. Then at one point as it got closer to our date in April, Sonny was no longer available to speak to. I don't know if he went on vacation or something, but now we were dealing with a different gentleman, I want to say his name was Kirby? When I stopped by the shop to see my tall table centerpiece sample, it looked terrible. The idea was tall manzanita trees, greenery around the base and teardrop globes that hang with tea lights. The tree ended up looking like a bunch of twigs and sticks, covered I flowers that we didn't want. The shape was weird, like a water fountain, it just shot straight up and out on top, all scraggly. Not the shape of a tree at all. The tea light globes that hung off the tree were round and not teardrop, so I mentioned that and Kirby said that it would be the correct shape the day of. They didn't have a sample of our small centerpiece done, so we had no idea what it was going to be like. Just a few days before the wedding I got my final table count. I had 4 centerpieces extra that we didn't need. When we went to make our final payment, we explained we no longer needed the 4 extra, but since the flowers were already ordered they could not refund us on those 4 tables. Understandable, but it took a bit of yelling from my husband for them to help us out a little, which to their credit they did. I explained to Kirby that the trees were all wrong so they upgraded us to the more expensive tree, which was what I was looking for in the first place. So we found tables to put the extra pieces on and we were set. Day of the wedding, I did not see the flowers we agreed upon. My bouquet was so wrong I thought they had delivered the wrong one. I asked for a small cascading bouquet, with lots of greenery, dark maroon and red flowers with touches of white. I ended up with what looked like a white and pink jellyfish! There was pink and purple orchids, which was not at all what I asked or what Sonny showed me at our second meeting. The orchids just hung off this ugly ball of flowers. Barely any greens, when that was the style I was going for. I absolutely hated my bouquet, which broke my heart and honestly did not match the aesthetic of the wedding. When I saw the trees they came out beautiful, but of course had no tear drop globes, but the round ones again. That we were able to let go because at least they got the tree right, which only happened because of the upgrade for the extra pieces they couldn't refund that we had to fight for. The small centerpiece wasn't exactly what I was expecting. What I thought we were getting was tall terrariums with a pillar candle in them and greens around, and what I got was the terrarium filled with those white and pink flowers again. Again, not the colors or types of flowers we asked for. As for going heavy with candles, they provided 3 tall candle sticks and 3 little tea lights... that's it. Had we know they were just going to out 3 candlesticks on the table, we would've glady paid for more. The whole idea was heavy on candles. After the wedding, I stopped by the shop to drop off the tip money for the delivery/setup guys, and saw Sonny. This was the first time speaking with him since our second meeting months ago. I explained to him what went wrong and he gave me this careless sounding apology. I told him the colors were not at all what we asked for, my bouquet came out completely wrong, the terrarium had flowers and not a candle in them and the globes on the trees were the wrong shape. All I got back was excuses. He said the terrarium never intended to have a pillar candle, which isn't what he told me during the first two meetings. My idea was to be more candles than flowers and he promised it would have a candle in it. It didn't. The globes were the wrong shape, and he says they don't have teardrop tea lights, when I saw it on their Instagram! I took a chance on a smaller florist and I guess I got what I paid for. Stylish events usually does decor, flowers, stages etc for Indian weddings. However after going to a friends wedding and falling in love with the floral arrangements...I was curious to see what that could do for a non Indian wedding, my own that is. The store front in Hillside is humble and a little jumbled together but, they are nothing but professional. I met with Bharat, who was incredible to work with. He was realistic with our budget and gave us many options. Initially I really just wanted flower arrangements for the reception but seeing their work, I had them do my ceremony as well. When my budget limited me, he suggest taking some reception flower and placing them on pedestals (that he already had) for our isle. After which the flowers were put back on the reception arrangements during cocktail. The transitions were smooth. They have quite a range from over the top lush Indian inspired decor/floral arrangements to very simple clean modern ny styles. Overall you can trust they will not put out anything that is not aesthetically pleasing, since it is their reputation as well. 5 stars for quality and reliability 5 stars for price ( they will even give you the option of returning the vases and charge you less, but they were so affordable as compared to other florist we just paid for the vases... all our guest took them home) 4 stars for phone contact...sometimes difficult to get bharat on the phone, setting up meeting in person to go over plans view samples is much better. read more

I was not happy with their service overall. I don't have complaints about the decor or centerpieces. They helped me budget my bouquet and then later on changed the price. I asked them and they denied the price was changed. I am 100% sure because I would not have agreed to a bouquet that costs almost $200. I would have made it myself to be completely honest. Either way, I overlooked that. It's a busy wedding season but they could do better to follow up with clients. I had to contact them for a final meeting. They also did not update payments properly when I made them according to due dates. I will say it is probably the best bang for your buck though. Prices were hard to beat. He says yes to everything and then when the day comes you're not sure of what he will actually do. I feel like I overpaid for what was actually done with the decorations and our stage was just subpar. We were also getting the tent through stylish and he came to measure 10 times and still did not give the adequate service- my dad had to call up the tent people himself and have them come and tell us upfront what we would need. * Review based on wedding consultation experience * CONSULTATION: I met with Lana virtually. She was monotone and unenthused, I literally felt like I was boring her. This was by far the worst meeting pertaining to wedding planning. She showed me multiple pictures of arrangements that did not fit the description of my decor vision (elegant yet simple). It seemed like she could only recreate specific looks that included extravagant crystals, hanging ornaments or bedazzled accessories etc. The arrangements looked more like bushes, had a lot of green fillers and holes/spaces between the actual flowers. They looked spotty and not like a full arrangement- opposite of what I had expressed to want. PRICE: I met with a handful of other reputable florists and Stylish Events' price was nearly double. Examples: - $400 bride bouquet (compared to ~$150 from others) - $50 each church pew flower (compared to ~$20 from others). - $500 for "ceremony drop off, set up;" "set up, delivery and breakdown" (compared to ~$300 flat rate from others) At one point, Lana joked that other vendors are jacking up their prices to compensate for lost business during COVID but it seems like that's what Stylish Events is doing... OPERATIONS: - the person you meet with (in my case, Lana) is your "event planner." They are the liaison between you and the actual floral designer. I was told that I may not even meet the designer of my arrangements because they are a third party - arrangements may be prepared the night prior by the floral designer and their team. I was told that I could visit the store the night before my wedding to pre approve everything. While I wanted to appreciate this offer, I am looking to work with a florist that I trust and don't have to micro manage the night before the big day - the event planner and floral designer DO NOT go to the ceremony/reception venues to supervise/set up, they send another team to do so In short- there is a large margin for error and a lot can potentially get lost in translation. After Lana sent me an estimate, I responded and thanked her for her time and notified her that we decided to go with another florist. I did not get a reply. read more

I would like to personally thank Stylish Events for the amazing work that was done for my wedding this past May (5/27/18). Our wedding took place on Long Island at Coral House in Baldwin. Our ceremony was suppose to be outside and our cocktail hour on their rooftop terrace. The day of the wedding, there were thundershowers and freezing winds throughout the day. Our ceremony was moved inside. When I walked down the isle I was so impressed with the beauty of the indoor ceremony. Above our alter was a beautiful floral topper and beautiful pieces as I walked down the isle. Our reception room was absolutely stunning, with towering gold and white centerpieces and a beautiful backdrop which made our couples photos beautiful during dinner. I have a very busy schedule and Bharat patiently worked with my mother in all of my absence. I met Bharat only one time, for one in person discussion and on the day of my wedding, it was everything I could have wished for and so much more. Do not work with this company! They were disastrous for my wedding day. First off, they made false promises saying they can make a stage setup that they could not deliver. They upcharged every additive factor and still not creating a full look. I paid extra for more flowers in my centerpieces and they still didn't look as full as the pictures they showed me. They were stingy. They should've been truthful on what they can deliver or not. And the worst part was they were late for the event. I based my entire wedding itinerary on the decor setup and they did not deliver. They promised extra petals and votives in all other areas like card table, entry table etc. All empty because guests were entering and they were not finished setting up. My family photos were to take place in the main ballroom but instead we had to do them in the empty hallway because they were not done. When I went back to complain about the service, they were defensive and wanted proof from pictures of incomplete work. I was disgusted with their empty apology. They did not want to own up to their mistakes and poor service. I thought it was going to be good package deal but in the end it wasnt worth it and I got ripped off. My wedding ruined. I wish I could give it more stars- as the night of my guests really did love my set up and it looked lovely. But that was more thanks to my venue and not to Stylish. From the get go, booking appointments with them were chaotic and unorganized. They don't follow up for payments- you have to follow up with them. I am a very organized person so it wasn't an issue for me, but I can imagine a stressed out bride with so many other things to do definitely forgetting to do so and thus resulting in chaos. When I went for my final appointment (which I had to reach out for myself) my father and I sat waiting for almost 45 minutes, as Ishu (the woman who was helping us out) was on the phone with someone who forgot to make the final payment "on time". It was very rude and inconsiderate of our time. When we finally went in for the final appointment I made sure to go over everything to a T, as I had a feeling things would be chaotic and they would forget certain aspects. I had to repeatedly tell Ishu to write the things I'm saying down as she would laugh and almost gaslight me by saying "don't worry, we do plenty of events, we won't forget anything". Well, I paid extra for certain things for my stage and they in fact, forgot to add those. Not only that, the neon sign that I had to buy and pay for myself, was not lit up. They assured me prior that all I needed to do was purchase it and leave it at the venue for them to set it up. When I got there, it was not lit up and I had a voicemail from Ishu saying that they don't have an outlet to light it up for us and basically tell me an hour before my event that we have to figure it out ourselves. As the bride, I did not appreciate that at all and was extremely upset by this. Luckily, my venue saved the day and handled it all for us, and finding a way to light up our sign. My wedding was this past weekend, and one of my fondest memories from the event will always be at how AMAZING Stylish Events were with decor and professionalism. The wedding was rather short notice, but in only 6 weeks time, I was able to provide my ideas to Stylish Events who then executed both my gaye holud and wedding decor perfectly. In addition, the quality of the stage and floral centerpieces were fantastic. Alll members of the Stylish Events team were very responsive to all my questions and continued to inquire with me throughout the wedding planning process, checking in if there was anything else I needed. Both Kashi and Sunny are a pleasure to work with, and very knowledgable in the wedding decor space. At follow up meetings at the Stylish home office or at my venue which was a bit far from Long Island, Kashi and Sunny were timely and prepared for each meeting. I worked with Bharat to decorate my brother's wedding and he was amazing. He was accommodating, patient and attentive. He was super kind and always available and responsive by text for last minute changes. He worked with us within my budget and he went above and beyond to make everything beautiful - and it truly was. The day of the wedding is stressful as it is but Bharat was there himself to make sure everything from the centerpieces, stage backdrop, cake decorations and my sister-in-laws bouquet was perfect. I am so grateful and happy to have met Sunny and his team from Stylish Event, from our first encounter, my now Husband and I felt comfortable, enough so that we decided to use them for our wedding, and we are so happy we did. because of Sunny and Stylish event I now believe that fairy tale exists. Guest are still raving about the décor; they were so in love with the boutonniere. As for my bouquet, I am without words to explain how in love I am with it, sunny went above and beyond making the changes we requested but with perfection. they were so accommodating to our last minute change in flowers pick up times. i am so happy and elated to write this review and will to recommend to use you guys for any other big events we will be having. They are so unprofessional! We were over charged for a lot of things. I would never use them again for any event. Spent thousands on our decor for my wedding at the church my house my reception and we still needed to spend more money on buying extra add on things to make there decor look better. I am not a fan of barat he made us feel as though whatever we were spending was chump change compared to the other weddings he has done. I also went next door to there Indian clothing store and spoke with his wife regarding making my bridesmaid outfits. Stylish Events is NOT a place you should go for your wedding! My sister's religious wedding was on 7/30/16 reception on 7/31/16. We had a rose wall that was missing from our package on 7/30. For 7/31, Stylish Events forgot three flower girl baskets $25 a piece. The person who took care of our event said that we would NOT be compensated for the rose wall since is was part of a package, and it is now 12/17/16 and we have not received the money back for the flower girl baskets. And this is not the first issue that I've had with this place. I am upset that a business like this can make so many mistakes and get away with it. read more
