The chicken tenders / strips were amazing. Very juices & tender. Would definitely recommend!! The Mozzarella Sticks were a great add-on for the price. All & all, their prices are amazing for their food & portion sizes. While they did take a while to get my order, it had more to do with their orders being more of a first come, first serve even if you order via phone. So the person in front of me got chicken tenders & they only had 2 tenders left so they made a fresh batch. I am not complaining bc I'd rather wait 10min for fresh ones than those that have been in their heater basket for 20+ minutes. I'd say they will eventually figure out a better ordering system that is modernized but you can tell they can cook very well food.

The corned beef sandwich was excellent. If you love corned beef, you'll love this sandwich. The nephew burger was also delicious. I think it could use a little more onion and a little more Italian dressing, so I'll request extra next time. There will be a next time!

You will pass the playground area (No, you didn't pass up Howlin Bird or parking area). Once you enter through the doors in the back, you'll see a counter where a friendly staff member will greet you; taking your order. You will be given the option to eat outside or inside with a number locating where your food will be brought when ready. The OH Chicken Sandwich is delicious, but I won't say it is better or worse than other similar chicken sandwiches other places. The tator tots were crispy and seasoned. The star of the show this visit was the peanut butter chocolate shake was had peanut butter morsels in it. This place was busy during a weekday during lunch time both in the dining area and the bar counter. The fountain drinks have a drink station to serve yourself.

The Good: great…read moretasting chicken: Danielle had the chicken & waffles and i had a 4 piece meal w/ fried Brussel sprouts. we both agreed that the chicken was delicious and perfectly fried/crispy. the chicken fingers were also huge. i was worried that 4 chicken fingers wasn't going to be enough to fill me up but i was full by the time I'd eaten 2. each finger was the width of 2 fingers you'd get somewhere else. beverage options: i'm diabetic so i stick to diet/zero sugar sodas or teas. not only did they have diet pepsi, but had diet dr. pepper as well. score! and that cold soda was needed... The Bad (or Bad-ish): Howlin Sauce: incredibly hot/spicy for just a sriracha based sauce. i eat lots of hot and spicy dishes. it wasn't that it tasted bad - in fact, quite the opposite - but it scorched my tongue like nothing has in a while. No Chill (ha): Danielle's chicken and waffles was swimming in syrup so by her waffles were soggy as hell by the time she'd finished. she still loved the meal and just said she'd ask for it on the side next time. Messy: when we arrived, we saw a number of parties leaving one after another. i assume this would be the reason that most of the tables were covered in dirty dishes and empty cups and glasses. since you order at the counter and seat yourself, servers are not around to check on you or the state of the restaurant. so, tables remained messy for a little while before they were cleaned up. Ordering: i don't like the ordering at the counter and lack of server service. the place doesn't look to be set up that way. you'd think there would be servers as it's kinda like a larger bar. instead you order, sit, wait for your food and you're on your own. it's a little like BW3 was back in the day. Slow: seemed to take a long time for chicken fingers. not a huge deal, but i wouldn't have guessed it'd take so long. i don't want to give the impression, though, that it was more bad than good. the food definitely outweighed the negatives. it's a long way from home but i'd go back for sure. i'd like to try some wings and some other sides as well as some of their appetizers.

So we have been curious about this place and finally decided to go today…read more This place boasts "THE BEST Chicken and Waffles in Ohio" spoiler: not even remotely. So when you fry chicken, especially boneless cuts like tenders. You need to MARINATE the chicken, not let it sit in plain water. This chicken is for caucasians that hate flavor, the chicken meat itself was never marinated or spiced before being coated. It was wet but the taste was of water. Not from chicken juices and seasonings. The breading was salt and pepper and possibly garlic. It was all so bland that it didn't taste like anything. The chicken had 0 flavor and the breading was almost the same. The waffles were soggy from the incredibly watery maple syrup. I made the mistake of getting Nashville hot and the coating overpowered everything else on the plate, I couldn't taste anything else outside of that. The chicken being incredibly bland doesn't help. We also got the pretzel sticks, which were fried hard. They were covered in oil, they weren't bad but I'd pass on them a next time. The cheese sauce had a good taste but it was very watered down. Notice everything being watery is a theme. The milkshake was ok, it wasn't worth the price. It tasted more like a weak malt flavor instead of chocolate. All in all this is some of the worst chicken I've had in awhile. When you make KFC look good you have issues. We probably won't be back, not when Caines, Dave's, Bojangles, slim chickens exist. The resurant was generic looking, it's going for that edgy bar look. It was clean but unoriginal. Service was fine. No picture, I threw half of mine away and tossed the milkshake in the trash and went to Panera for a Mango smoothie.

I understand it's hard to transport some of these things via carryout. There was no caramel, whipped cream, maple syrup, or powdered sugar on this. Otherwise the blueberry compote was good and it's a huge portion of pancakes. Hot honey breakfast sandwich. Again huge portion on a sweet bun. Nashville style is no joke extreme spice. Nice side of hot honey. Loaded tot quesadilla. Well, wouldn't get this again. Doesn't have much chicken. There was no cheese sauce that said came with it. It's pretty dry with no sauce on it. Overall, if you're going to order carryout, you should probably check to see if the sauces are there before leaving. Some items are good, but you really need everything to be included.

I also tried their onion rings which were amazing! Actual sliced onion breaded and fried to perfection. They should come with a sauce of choice, BBQ would be perfect. I will be back soon as they now have lamb! Not counting the fries I generally always have a good experience at Dude's.

I stopped by Dude's Chicken on Belmont today and placed my order at 12:29 PM. Around 12:45 PM,…read morewhile I was sitting in the waiting area waiting for my food, I looked toward the cash register and saw a medium-sized baby roach crawling across the wall in broad daylight. When I first pointed it out to the staff, they initially tried to ignore what I was saying. After a moment, they turned around, looked, and finally acknowledged that the roach was there. Instead of treating it like an urgent issue, I was met with excuse after excuse. I was told they had just moved into the location, that they were only on the third phase of spray treatment, and that they were working on the problem. Regardless of the reason, customers should not be seeing roaches crawling around while waiting for their food. By that point, I was already uncomfortable because I had been watching what was happening behind the counter. I noticed some employees handling food without gloves, while another employee wearing gloves repeatedly scratched their nose with those same gloves and continued working without changing them. That is not the level of cleanliness or food handling customers expect when ordering a meal. Between seeing a roach in the dining area, the questionable food-handling practices, and the number of excuses that were offered instead of genuine concern, I completely lost my appetite. Although they refunded my money, that doesn't change the experience I had. Cleanliness and sanitation should never be optional in a restaurant. Based on what I personally witnessed today, management has serious cleanliness issues that need to be addressed immediately. I sincerely hope they take the necessary steps to improve their pest control, food safety practices, and overall sanitation before more customers have a similar experience.
