If I could give zero stars I would. My order was partially incorrect, however, the "extra crispy" chicken was dark brown in color and looked like it had been soaked in oil and sitting under a heat lamp all day. Went to the KFC drive thru on 11/10/25 and ordered the regular KFC chicken sandwich. What was $3.99 is now $5.61 with a side of mayonnaise. The sandwich was cold and hard. It must have been there for hours. There was not a big portion and it was so bad I couldn't finish the sandwich. I'll never go there again. You're better off ordering in the store so if there is a problem they can make a fresh sandwich. Just awful. read more

I placed an order from the KFC App today for a chicken sandwich and two 2 piece chicken box. After the order was placed it says I would get my order at 7:13 pm but got to my order at 7:24. The delivery person stated she had to wait because they cooked everything when she got there. When we received the food my husband found an orange tag in the chicken sandwich as he was taking a bite. My daughters and I chicken thigh had pieces of uncooked parts. Overall the experience with the food was terrible. read more

Ordered over $70 of food and when we got home they had shorted us 8 pieces of chicken, 10 tenders, a large order of Mac and cheese, etc.. plus all the sides that they did include were half to a third full, like they didn't have enough and just split one order into 2 or 3. Tried calling repeatedly for over half an hour but they never answered their phone so we couldn't even give them a chance to fix these egregious errors. The kids were starving so they tried eating what little we got and they said the coke slaw tasted rancid and the chicken was rubbery, plus everything was cold. I understand mistakes happen and sometimes there's just bad days but to ignore the phone makes it seem like they were fully aware of the issues and chose to do nothing. If I get in touch with someone who can help or tries to make amends, I will update accordingly. read more

Got the $5 Fill Up Pot Pie - chicken. It was a decent-sized pie with a top crust only which was mostly too doughy. The filling was hot, as it "just came out of the oven," but most of it was an overly-salty gravy with just 3 slim, dry, chewy chicken strips & a couple of small chunks, few peas and a carrot slice. Of course, this skimpy disappointment was far from the loaded one that is shown in their promo picture, though the flavor was OK. Did I mention the sodium at 1750? Went to the Cicero KFC this afternoon. Only one person (working in the back) was wearing a mask properly. The rest covered only their mouths. The cashier did cover her nose when I asked her to. I did say that I should call corporate as I saw one person actually pull the mask down from her nose, which had been covered for just a few seconds. She said she could not breathe. Her co-worker calmed her down as she was getting agitated. During these times, we all have to suck it up and wear those masks. On Monday, I will call the corporate office. read more

My husband and I went into the Cicero store between 8pm-830pm on Wednesday, 9/20. The store was a disaster. We were "greeted" by an annoyed male employee who was disinterested in answering our questions, and halfway through our order he walked away and said "you take care of them" to a female employee, citing that we were being "complicated." (which, we just asked if we could get nashville hot in the $5 box, when told no, we said ok and looked at the menu for a moment) We proceeded to place our order, and received our drink cups. Went to fill them with unsweetened iced tea, and the ice machine was broken. So the tea was lukewarm (the sodas were cold, but neither of us drink soda). As we were discovering this, we also witnessed the female employee (the second one to help us) not wearing gloves and throwing our food into a box. She scooped mashed potatoes into a cup, slammed the cup on the counter, and the potatoes went flying. She then dumped gravy on them directly out of the square pan the gravy was in, without using a ladle/scoop. There was a bag full of containers laying on the ground, the male employee picked them up, and the female employee yelled out "how did THAT happen?" while grinning and standing there, our food being placed into boxes with tongs in her un-gloved hands. Then her tongs touched the bag that was holding the containers that was on the ground. We asked for a refund. She said "for the whole THING??" and we said yes. It was filthy and disgusting in there, there was no ice for our lukewarm drinks, and the food was old. Not to mention, there were obvious health hazards. I'm not picky, but old food was not worth getting sick. The female employee threw the boxes down and exasperatedly said "I don't know how to do that" and the manager eventually came over. She gave us our refund in cash (we paid in credit card) and we left and went to Popeyes (where the service was amazing and the food hot and fresh, even though it was 830 in the evening). The manager kept our receipt. This restaurant is an absolute disaster. read more

Terrible service, I had to wait in line for 10 minutes, when I got to order, the cashier did not know how to enter coupons so that took another 5 minutes and they were rude. The food that I got was good, warm. But I needed to go back to the counter for more ketchup and I had to say "excuse me" 5 times to finally get someone's attention. The building is an older design and very dirty. The restrooms are so-so. The main reason I give this restaurant 1 star is because of their service. If you want to wait in line for 20 minutes and get served by rude employees then go here. I would definitely not recommend this KFC to anyone. read more

Was craving some KFC and decided to use the drive thru here last Saturday for lunch. I'll note that I practically grew up in a KFC as a kid before I moved here, my parents used to be franchisees and the food was always amazing, as they ran a tight ship. In contrast, in the past around here I've had a lot of issues with order accuracy and food quality at this location, but this time it was great, and the staff was also very polite. They recently did a remodel here too and it seems like they're trying hard to improve now that they have some chicken competition close by. I ordered original recipe and it was fresh and delicious. The cole slaw and biscuits were also very fresh, and the mashed potatoes were also good. The employee taking my order also let me substitute an additional side in place of the drink for my meal which was also very appreciated. If they keep up the service and quality to match this experience, I'll be eating KFC from here a lot more often! read more

Everytime I go to this KFC there is something wrong with my order. Most of the time they will give me mashed potatoes instead of mac and cheese or just flat out forget to give me something all together. Today I sat in line for 30 minutes waiting for a chicken tender 5$ fill up. Once I got to the window, I received the box and they forgot to give me the drink until I reminded them, he then gave me a sarcastic remark. We decided to get some dinner here tonight after taking a little longer shopping than we anticipated. 3 adults and a toddler. There were two people ahead of us in line and not a single person sitting down eating. We figured this wouldn't take too long since they're not busy at all. Wrong. We were there for 30 minutes after we ordered food and have yet to get our order. In the meantime the people that came in after us had been getting their food. So it's now 45 minutes after we ordered and there were at least 6 people waiting to order still but nobody was actually at the register. I watched 3 people leave without ordering. We go up to check why people who had showed up after us already got their food and the response was "I'm bringing out food in order" well clearly you're not because we haven't gotten our food. Our toddler is starving by now and like many children, bored and annoyed from just sitting here and not getting her food that we promised her. The manager finally came to the front and said she'll give us a refund for our troubles. Another five minutes go by and I go up to the front to ask if I can at least have a biscuit for my toddler until our food comes out. The girl looks at us like she had seen a ghost. She asked the manager in the back and all we hear coming from the back is "I gave them their money back, they want their food too?". She was clearly annoyed. After that we decide to leave, seeing how we're not getting our food, and we have to figure out another way to get dinner for the toddler so close to bedtime. The toddler did not take the news too well that she was not getting her dinner after waiting for so long, and starts to cry. It was heartbreaking really. I get on my phone to call the customer service number for this restaurant while the rest of my family get the crying kid in the car to leave. As I go in to ask the manager for her name I watch more people leave without ordering. Definitely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Whoever owns this franchise needs come pay attention to their investment. We waited at the counter for a good 10 minutes while they were busy fulfilling drive-thru orders that were parked in front of the door to the place. A (I assume) manager was busy "yaking" about personnel issues to another employee (?) for the entire time we waited. The girls were hustling to fill orders and he was standing there with his arms crossed. When he was done talking, instead of apologizing and taking our order, he turned and walked away. I thought he'd help his teammates out. No, he walked outside to continue complaining to the original employee (?). I was appalled. The girls apologized, but they were run ragged. There was not a clean table in the place. We took our order and left. The chicken fingers weren't fresh. They were stone cold and tasted like "jerky". Any decent mgr. would pitch in to help his team.
