FOOD: We had come here on a Sunday afternoon at around 2:00 pm, while driving through on our way to Washington, D.C. I had settled on the Crispy Colonel Sandwich With Wedges ($5.99), while my husband had settled on the Three-Chicken Tenders With Mashed Potatoes & A Biscuit ($5.00). Instead of getting a soft drink, I had decided on water, which was readily available at the drink station; my husband had decided on Pepsi. In terms of the Crispy Colonel Sandwich, it was well-made, tasting fresh and delicious, along with being a good size, filling-me up for the next few hours. The Wedges were just okay, but they were a bit too soft for my liking, I would have enjoyed if they were crunchier (as I love crunchy fries better then soft ones). My husband enjoyed the Chicken Tenders as they were large, and crispy, along with being easy to dip in the Ketchup. The Mashed Potatoes were a good amount, with a generous helping of Gravy poured on top, along with a tasty Biscuit. In terms of the beverages, the water didn't taste good; it tasted more of juice as opposed to water. I was a tad disappointed in the water however, I just decided to drink a bottle of my own instead. Overall, the food was pretty-good, considering the price that we had paid for it. We did enjoy having the unlimited drink station available at our disposal, which my husband used to fill-up on Pepsi before we headed-out on the road again. ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant was situated on a road off of the main highway going through Pennsylvania. It was attached to a convenience store which also sold lunch items, along with beverages. It wasn't too busy at the restaurant, and we were able to find a seat immediately upon arriving. We found that the restaurant was mostly quite clean, and we enjoyed the comfort of the seating as we dined. It also wasn't too loud, which we liked, as we usually like to dine in quieter situations as opposed to louder ones. SERVICE: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the cashier, who gave us some time to choose our items as we were speaking with her. She was kind at all times, and thanked us for our visit as we were getting our food. We noticed that the staff seemed pleasant to all guests, and were grateful for our stay. COST: Crispy Colonel Sandwich With Wedges ($5.99) + Three-Chicken Tenders With Mashed Potatoes & A Biscuit ($5.00) + Tax = $11.65 WOULD YOU RETURN? Order was 20 min late and they forgot the gravy I ordered. My husband got it all the way home before we opened the bag and realized there was no gravy. So then I had to make gravy before I could even start eating cause who wants mashed potatoes with no gravy. I called to complain and they are sending me a coupon. I called corporate and they refunded the cost of the gravy. Idk what I expected. I was just very disappointed that I spent $60 on food for my family dinner and we went 45 min away to get KFC specifically. Let's get the obvious out of the way first: This place is a KFC and Taco Bell (which is all connected to a Snappy's). I stopped here with my family on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. I fully expected to have waited long enough to beat the lunch rush, but apparently I was wrong. This place was non-stop crazy with customers. The restaurant is quite small to begin with. Granted the place was busy, and granted the employees there were filling orders from two different menus, BUT service there was so incredibly slow. The strangest part of it all was the fact that the KFC orders came out way before Taco Bell orders did. On top of that many, many orders were messed up. A customer that ordered after me ordered food to go, and after waiting a good 10 minutes for his food, they failed to prepare the food to go, which only caused the customer to become more agitated. I put an order in for a taco, mac and cheese, and a biscuit, and my mac and cheese and biscuit sat on a tray in the back for a good 15 minutes before my food was handed to me. (They took over 15 minutes to prepare a single taco.) By that point, my biscuit was cold, as was my mac and cheese. I've had much better KFC and Taco Bell at other locations. This place is sadly out dated, but that's not even the worst part. The restrooms were horrendous. In the ladies room, one stall was clogged with feces and toilet paper and one stall was out of toilet paper (there were only 3 stalls total). I understand it was hot, I understand they were busy... but come on. There was really no excuse for the extremely slow service and nasty bathrooms. read more

Great service! So crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The staff are fun and really kind.

It's a KFC and a Taco bell, and the KFC part seems to be more popular. The menu is pretty busy for both halves. My KFC combo was okay, not great, but it came out quickly. The chicken was extra-crisp and a little dry - even for extra-crispy - so I think it had been under a heat lamp for a bit. The biscuits were smaller and doughy. The sides now come out in reusable plastic containers - great if you're actually going to be taking your food home and you can actually re-use them, but a waste if you're eating in. I was disappointed unsweetened iced tea did not appear to be a beverage option. The restaurant itself is kind of dated, but clean and well maintained. The rest rooms are in an adjacent area shared with the Snappy's convenience store. read more

I always come to KFC to order famous bowls but I rarely go inside. This restaurant is a KFC Snappys combo. While I was eating in the car my boyfriend went inside to use the restroom. While he was in there a worker named Jimmy came in and used the bathroom for bowel movement and then walked right out and went right back to serving food. Didn't even think to wash his hands. This is my first trip to a KFC in a long time. If this is a representation of all of them it's a huge disappointment. Food - the biscuits are miniaturized. The potato wedges are still good. Everything else - Blah. This place - filthiest restaurants I've ever been. From the worker smoking outside, the poop all over the restrooms, the filth under the cash register, the flooded kitchen floor, leaky ceiling, the filthy table and floors, to the half eaten hard candy stuck to the table, the only thing missing is the rat on the floor. After a wait for your food the awesome guy with the total rad Dropkick Murphy's forearm tattoo brings you your food. But, wait there's more. He doesn't just bring you your mediocre lunch, he does so while serenading you with Santaria-Sublime and dodging old chicken on the kitchen floor. It's a great time. Do not waste your time. Last night for a quick dinner was the last time that I will pick food up from there. We wanted chicken but was told that they we "out". Ended up with some tacos. They look nothing like the advertisement photos. Each taco had so little meat that you could not taste it. After moving the lettuce aside I found a few strands of cheese and maybe a tablespoon of meat. They were sad looking. With all the filling in the taco, that left over half of the shell with nothing between it. This place has a well deserved bad reputation with the locals. Guess they count on the interstate traffic to survive. If you decide to eat there, check to make sure they didn't forget the meat before you drive away. I have eaten at other Taco Bell locations and they were decent, much better than this store. read more

The gas station had GREAT COFFEE. coffee was fresh, several kinds of coffee, flavored creamers, half and half, whole milk, even whipped topping . This is the best I have found. Kfc restaurants are hit and miss, this one is a complete train wreck. The only way they stay in business is that they are near the interstate. I usually end up going here once a year. I must forget how horrible this KFC is. I ordered a 12 piece tender meal with biscuits, 2 sides, and sauces. They told me it would be a 10 minute wait which is fine. Two minutes later they told me they only had 10 tenders would I like a 3rd side which I did not. Apparently this was not a question or an option. They called my number, I take my order home. The workers here are nice and friendly. But I came in yesterday and over heard a couple discussing the coronavirus and potentially having it. Seeing that this KFC is right off the interstate there's no doubt in my mind the chances of it being infected are high. Also seeing that the coronavirus was found in state which is very close to clearfield. Also take note of how they have none of their workers taking safety and health precautions to help the employees and customers. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered at 5:04pm and got our food 46 minutes later. It was like warm and items were missing. This was supposed to be a a quick pit stop in the middle of our 7 hour drive and didn't know items were missing until we were on the toad. Epic fail KFC. read more

The guy at the register was really nice. The line was medium length but they got through it pretty fast and filled orders promptly. The menu was confusing- there were big posters as you walked in advertising a $20 family fill up, but then it wasn't on the menu and there was no way to tell what was in it. It's apparently the same as a $19.49 8pc family meal, except you don't get to pick your sides and you get 1 extra mashed potato? I'm still not sure. Anyway, chicken was delicious of course. MAGGOTS where under the fryer at one point. I'm a local who knows a lot of ex-employees. They told me that they would make a couple hundred dollars a night from over charging people and pocketing the extra money. Someone just did it to me and I did the math they over charged me $3.00 it's not a lot of money but who has money to throw away. They will rip you off anyway possible. Don't think about calling management I have good reason to believe they are in on it or at least have knowledge that its occurring but look the other way. We have tried over and over to give this place one more chance. It is dirty. The employees just don't care....I have waited while they have conversations to be waited on. We don't eat in because the tables are never clean. The orders are never correct. The last straw was when I got a bucket of chicken home and it was bloody inside. Photos were sent to the owner who never got in touch and obviously doesn't care anymore then the employees do. I asked if the order was complete the girl at the window said sure. What a joke. This will be the last time for us at this KFC very very incompetent. the order should be checked. The cleanliness isn't great but the food from KFC and Taco Bell is alright. I am glad there are one of these in Clearfield.

So awful. We waited 23 (seriously) minutes from the time we ordered to the time we actually got our food. We were two minutes away from just walking out and going down the street to Burger King, which would have been a way better choice. The tortillas had hard edges and smelled moldy, the cinnamon twists had a chemical-y taste, and the refried beans were dry, crusty, and cold. Well, this place is a poor excuse of a business. I've noticed mostly foreign or out of staters are the only people in there. When my husband and I walked in, they acted like they've never seen customers before. They acted so unprofessional and childish.
