Stopped in on a trip to the area after reading the reviews. We got a large plain pizza, an order of 10 wings with medium sauce and a Caesar Salad. The girl who took our order was super sweet and friendly (which seems to be a trait of the area). It took about 20 minutes for our order to be ready so we waited outside by the Susquehanna River and just relaxed. When our food was ready we took it back to our ABnB and ate outside. The wings are huge and juicy. This place knows how to do wings! The medium sauce was a nice thick sauce and wasn't overly spicy but still packed a good kick. The Caesar Salad was exactly what you would expect. The pizza was solid but nothing to really get excited about. It had a good crust and the right amount of cheese but the sauce was kind of bland. The restaurant itself was warm and inviting. They have a nice selection of desserts including gelato but we didn't order any. We would definitely comeback just for the wings, but I'd like to try some of their other offerings. read more

We were in the area from MT and stumbled across Buck's Pizza! The pizza and wings were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. What really made our visit even better was the outstanding service from our server, Kendra. She was extremely friendly and genuinely cared that our experience was a great one. My family was here for 2 hours I saw the waitress 3 times. The third time was when she brought the bill which was wrong they charged us higher than the menu on three different items. When asked she was defensive and then returned 15 minutes later and stated that I had to specify that I wanted the special. I did order the special exactly as it appeared on the special menu I read off of as I ordered. The food was way overpriced and not worth it. I'll never be back. read more

Good place to go for pizza and other food items! We were seated when we walked through the door. Menus and utensils were brought to the table. Our server immediately came to the table to take our drink order. We ordered boneless wings for our appetizer and they were super good. Highly recommend with the garlic Parmesan sauce! One person in our group ordered the Stromboli and really enjoyed it. Liked the amount of ingredients it was stuffed with. Our pizza was good, and my only suggestion is that the crust be a little more crispy. The server was attentive and thanked us for eating at Buck's. read more

Horrible service! We are in from out of town the Air bnb that we were staying at had Bucks listed as a place to eat. I ordered online was told the order would take 20 minutes. It took us 28 minutes to get here and when we did Julie came out and handed me 30 wings. When I told Julie my order she rolled her eyes and said I got it. I was then told it was going to take 5 minutes for the pizza. We then waited another 20 minutes for the pizza. While we were waiting we heard Julie clear as day talking to those in the back about this is what you get for ordering online. We asked that they make fresh wings now that the ones we got were cold they said they was not allowed!?!?!! What?? You messed up my order and half my food is going to be cold? I asked for the manager and was told that there was no manager on duty. A guy from the back did come out and offer to talk to me but did nothing to make the fact that half my order was now cold. I asked for a refund and was told that the manager could give me a refund when she works next..... no that is not how this works. read more

The service of this place is easily one of the best I've ever had and even leaving the place all the workers were saying have a nice day people in restaurants rarely happen. The endless boneless wings were on sale and we were there for an hour and he checked up on us every 10 minutes or so. read more

I just had the best meal I've ever had in Clearfield, PA. The location is expansive, yet very comfortable. There is a bar/lounge area, where you can watch the game, and beautiful booths with granite tables. The normal tables are easily big enough for 4, and are far enough apart that you don't hear your neighbors. Let's talk food. We had Bacon Cheddar French Fries and Teriyaki Wings for appetizers. The fries were tasty enough, but there was a ton of bacon, which is always a good thing. The wings were crisp, and the sauce had a great flavor, yet they weren't drowning in it. The three of us each had different entrees. One was a Chicken Parm sandwich. It was served on Ciabatta Bread, had just enough sauce and cheese to be quite tasty. I had a small deep dish pizza. 4 large squares almost Sicilian style. It was one of the best pizzas I have eaten in years. The last pizza was a small 5 Meat Pizza on their normal crust. Rarely have I seen a pizza with that many toppings, and still cooked well through. For dessert, we shared freshly made Coconut Gelato. Amazing Cinnamon Stix, and really great Cannoli! The service was stellar, and an added bonus, their sodas are from the magic 200+ Coca Cola machines!!! Peach Mello Yellow is to die for! Give this place a try, I can't wait to go back! read more

I love that Bucks delivers and it's never too long of a wait. The staff has always been so nice and helpful. Unfortunately most of the food I've had from here, I don't like. The only thing I do like is their boneless wings. The chips and salsa didn't taste right and the ravioli was dry. read more

Started out with being told they were out of straws for drinks. Ordered a draft beer that came out luke warm. Daughter wanted a sandwich with american cheese, sorry, no american cheese. Ordered an XL stromboli and an order of cinnamon sticks. After nearly an hour, an XL pizza, see above, was brought out and was told 'they' made a mistake but they put in a stromboli which we could take home. One bite and found out the pizza was cold and the cinnamon sticks were burned. Sitting there wandering what just happened when the stromboli was brought out. Figured after waiting an hour we might as well eat the hot stromboli. I shit you not, the stromboli was not cooked long enough. Raw ingredients and the crust was dough. I have ate at literally thousands of locations and have never took the time time to post a review. I have also ate at Buck's Pizza in Dubois on numerous occasions with no problems. I will never be back to the Clearfield location and now can see why so many seats were empty. (We were not charged for the cold pizza so there's a plus) read more

We arrived at Buck's Pizza with at minimum 47 people, they were expecting us. Pizzas were waiting for us in a separate area. The server was friendly, kind and patient. The manager assisted her...with a smile, btw. I am unable to eat gluten and they kindly accommodated me with my own personal sized GF pizza. I've given this place a chance multiple times( not sure why because the order is wrong every single time!) Caprese salad used to be better. It used to have plum tomatoes and fresh mozzarella slices. Got one Friday and it had sliced tomatoes (had zero flavor)and tiny mozzarella balls. Ordered all flat wings, instead got mix of drum sticks and flats two separate times, ordered celery, blue cheese and extra sauce paid for it and never got it upon delivery. Called store to see what happened, they had zero clue. After several calls into the store eventually got someone who did have a clue and got a $50 gift card. Ordered again using the coupon and order was totally wrong. No surprise really. Won't be eating there ever again. I Do not recommend. The workers they have must not know how to read. read more

Dirtiest restaurant I've ever worked. The fact they have no violations is absolutely amazing. Knifes used for multiple stations without cleaning. No gloves in use or masks only when they feel it's needed. The food is made by people who need more training in safe food handling. Steak and chicken on same rack in walk-in. Raw defrosting chicken sits right on the floor in walk in. The floors of the wall in are filled with old molding foods and crushed food from not cleaning properly. I was asked to clean it. This place was an absolute joke. Never have I ever seen more unhappy customers with zero care from employees and the manager seemed to have no idea what to do in almost every situation. I watched them serve half cooked food, got sent back, then watched everyone eat off the plate like it was no big deal.... customers see a nice dinning room and view. But I dare anyone to ask to see the back. You will never eat here again after witnessing the truth. Oh almost forgot the fact that the water was brown and they were still using the soda machine like it wasn't being feed from the brown water supply. Filled the cannoli after it dropped on the floor and the waitress licked her finger right before picking up the plate and walking it out to the table. Gross!!!! The amount of no care in this town's restaurants is astonishing. They don't even know how to make proper dough. They just slam it together and that's why the pizzas are never consistent. The owner literally had a conniption when I asked why they do the dough they way they do it. Like he's never watched a real pizza being made. Let alone the fact that they let the cheese just sit out on the make line melting. I had to keep coming into the area to put the cheese away to be properly stored every time the cooks left the makeline. It was just so upsetting seeing the possibility this place could have with proper training and good employees. They fired me because I was to invasive when it came to food safety and cleaning. Missed one day of work and they let me go. While keeping employees that treated the restaurant with no respect. Oh and I've never worked anywhere where it was okay to yell and scream at each other. No teamwork and when it gets busy they just start throwing stuff. Walk out smoke a cig let the order pile up and they act like children who don't get there way. I almost quit several times before I was let go but I had to stay to witness the shear problems. Even asked the owner if it was normal to have the yeast and sugar pre bagged.. the water they use for the dough is pre measured and left on the floor under the walk in shelf's. Our daughter took us out for lunch on Father's Day and the restaurant was not busy. I soon found out why...the service was super slow, it took us 2 hours from start to finish. The server was rude, got my husband's order wrong, forgot the cheese our son asked for on his salad, then when he asked she brought the wrong kind and just dumped it on his salad. The food was just ok, the bad service over shadowed everything. My daughter said she had this same server a couple months prior to the Close for covid. RUDE WAITRESS AND SUCH AND ORDEAL GETTING CHECKED OUT. we had a party of 9 go for lunch at Buck's Pizza in Clearfield. The waitress was rude and very unpleasant. Three of us were paying. we each gave her our credit cards a long with our bill in the booklets she left with us. she came back and practically threw the booklets and receipts at us. We noticed she had charged the wrong credit cards. I was charged for my cousin's meal and she was charged for mine (which was double her total bill) we told her and she in a huff grabbed the booklets and left. So we approached the check out counter to get it figured out. Took them so long and we had to try to explain what they did wrong. First they said they would cancel our first charge. Well once again they canceled the wrong charges to the wrong cards, now involving the third person's charge card. In the mean time there was a man who worked there. He was dressed up, so I figure he was a manager or someone in charge at that time. He was just as rude with us. They all acted like it was our fault this happened, when in fact it was theirs. how hard could it have been to take one booklet at a time and use the charge card for that particular bill?? Oh and by the way not one of them apologized to us. We have decided there are better places to go to eat next time. Places where the employees are respectful to the customers. read more

Loved eating here! The service was great! We walked in and they greeted us right away! They also had great deals on the menu and bored when you walk in, some great ideas! We got seated and right away got out menus. The waiter was extremely nice and speedy! Food delivery was quick and tidy! Came to the table a good amount of times but not in the way it was annoying. All in all loved this restaurant and every time had great service. Let's talk about the view too! It's in an awesome location, great parking, and there is outside seating too! A lot of parking spots so don't worry about finding one. Also if you order they can bring it out to you!(there is special parking spots for that.) Loved this place! We ordered the fried mushrooms to start and they were delicious and a huge portion! I had the small Greek salad and a small margarita pizza. The pizza was out of this world! Next time I will order a large to take home. The Greek salad was awesome and was more like a large salad. Everyone we were with loved what they ordered. Most raved about their strombolis. I also enjoyed my favorite wine, clarion river red. We got an ordered or canollis to take home. I will definitely return!! read more

We order here often but in the last several months I haven't been a fan. When ordering one night I got a calzone with cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms. When I went to eat it they forgot the cheese. I called to let them know and they offered to send another one via delivery or comp half off. I just ate the pizza my kids got and wanted them to just give me a free one next time but they refused. Kinda silly. Next time we ordered the food was cold and someone left the giant wheel pizza cutter in my box with the pizza. Nasty and thank goodness I found it and not my little one! Finally, we ordered this week and they said 20 minutes to pick up two pizzas ( one plain and other with two toppings), it took me 53 minutes to get through by phone and get them to bring them outside. She came to the car four times because she kept saying five minutes, then another lady came, then they forgot about me, and I had to call again for the fourth time since you can't get inside. What a mess. Oh and my pizza was made wrong that had the two toppings. It's not rocket science.‍ It could be much more organized for pick up orders and if they're busy you should have more then two people working if you can't keep it rolling smoothly. I'd recommend if your up for just a quick bite but this isn't the best pizza or good. Doesn't compare to others out there in bigger areas like monte cellos or pizza Roma. read more

My wife, myself and my grandson went for dinner last Friday evening here. We were met right off by a hostess who seated us quickly and took our drink order. Then the wait began. It took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. She said her apologies and took our order. While we were waiting they gave us free nacho's for waiting so long. Our dinner arrived and I was pleasantly disappointed. My meal was veal parm with linguine. It came with ziti. The sauce was so overly sweet it was hard to eat. I ordered a side order of meatballs which never came until after I was almost finished. The waitress took that off the bill. If you want ambiance this place has it, if you want décor this place has it, if you want good authentic Italian food go elsewhere! read more

The main courses came quickly and were nice and hot, as if they had JUST came out of the oven. Service was excellent! During this tough time, we've been trying to keep our local restaurants in business by ordering take out at least once a week. In the past, we frequently dined at the Clearfield restaurant and haven't been disappointed. However, we ordered take out today (June 6, 2020) and disappointed is an understatement. I feel that when you pay over $12 for a large salad, it should have more that just 3 tiny slivers of chicken in it. I had to make more food for the person that received this salad because it wasn't even an adequate meal. I'm not one to ever complain but this made me upset. read more

Been here a few times and everything has been fine, not the best but good. Kind of expensive for what you get but a decent place to eat. Tonight I ordered a meatball sandwich and it was the worst that I have ever had. It appeared that I got the "bottom of the pan" of meatballs. There was more grease than sauce, the meatballs were not warm enough to melt the cheese, and there were fragments of meatball and burned sauce from the sides of the pan. How they could send that sandwich out of the kitchen is beyond me and how the server could have looked at it and served it to a customer is a mystery. It will be a while before I go back and I won't be ordering anything but the pizza. read more
