I came in for some food and needed to use the restroom. Employees were goofing off but it was slow, and they were probably bored. No customers inside. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING. I went to the other bathroom after seeing a horrific scene in the toilet of the one I went to. Garbages were full, toilets dirty, used towels on the floor inside the stalls, no toilet paper (probably why there were used paper towels ) and there was something sticky on the wall of the stall in one of them. After seeing this I decided to eat elsewhere. If a restaurant can't even keep clean bathrooms, I don't want to see the kitchen. read more

This is a pretty crappy KFC. The chicken had clearly been cooked a long time ago. My biscuit was old & hard. The French fry wedges were still cooking, holding up delivery of my little $5 meal. The restaurant was completely empty at 6:30PM, prime time. That should have been a sign. A few people came in for carry out but otherwise the place was devoid of customers. My advice? Used to be my go-to for KFC, then in the past 2 years it started getting terrible. Not only the attitudes change but the food is terrible. I literally used to get a good bucket of chicken, really nice portions, the last few times, I got dry, burnt TINY pieces of chicken. Not even edible even the raccoons threw it back. Anyways luckily there's one on Randall Rd. ALSO it is so hard getting out of this spot too. So that's a hassle. read more

I should have thought not to order from KFC a half hour before closing but like an idiot, I did. Best thing from what I ordered was the Pepsi. Old chicken which tasted like rubber, hard biscuit, and cold mashed and gravy. I had also ordered the 4 piece which is suppose to be one of each piece but they sent me 2 breast and a wing. There is only one thing you can count on when you visit this location. That is that you never know if it will be a good experience. Usually out of chicken. (At a chicken place????) Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to you to raise an issue about KFC Elgin, IL on Randall Rd The issue that I have experienced was: Was in on christmas eve at 5:10 waited 15 minutes in line before order was taken it was 5:25 when our order was finally taken. I was under the impression that the only girl they had up front didn't speak to good of English since I asked how long the wait was and she she stared at me with no answer. I ordered a family meal of 16 pc original & 8 pc grilled & 4 hot spicy & 4 honey chicken sandwiches. Many people were in there complaining of the wait. My order was ready at 7pm as many other customers witnessed the wait they cheered my wait out of the restaurant. There was people that ordered ahead, a day ahead and up to 2 weeks ahead and still had to wait about 2 hours which is totally ridiculous. What really gets us all while waiting close to two hours is that the drive thru was having no problems getting there orders. Part of the reason chicken slowed down they said it burnt but they had no answers for nothing they just stared like they didn't know what they were doing. I spent close to 86.00 on very bad service plus when I got home the chicken looked terrible like someone ripped the chicken apart the bones were hanging out and I cut my tounge on the edge. Our Christmas eve was ruined and felt so bad for my child waiting on christmas eve when we had plans to be with relatives and everyone had to wait on us for food including my child. I usually not a complainer but never been so upset before. For the staff not be staffed and ready mostly when they had orders that needed to be ready at certain times these poor people should be in and out with there orders. Very upset and more upset that I waited all that time and chicken was not even cooked right. I am requesting a refund very dissatisfied with the food and service. Typical KFC, but with one exception, they rarely have chicken available. Every single visit to this KFC location is an exercise in frustration. Be prepared to sit in your car for ten minutes or longer while waiting for your drive-thru order. I've been told many times that a certain menu item is N/A. read more

I been in this place before and don't remember having this experience other than they running out of something. Was driving home and decided to go here to get some meal to bring to family. I got there I ordered 3 meals. Priced me wrong it took 3 times to correct it. Got back and we opened the box. The chicken was so tiny and overcooked so dark and very greasy. Was too hungry so we ate it anyway instead of going back how bad it could be. After eating we should had returned it for refund was not worth it. Lesson to learn. read more
