10 Traditonal Wingz, fries and white bread (sorry couldn't wait)
    Herb L.

As a person that loves both Harold's and Uncle Remus I have to say that Zza Factory's wings are a combination of both great Chicago institutions. I ordered 20 wings thinking that I would get 10 flats and 10 drums for $40 and I was fine with that but I was shocked to learn that it came in two big trays with 20 FULL WINGS FRIED HARD (10 wings per tray), fries, mild sauce (covering wings and fries) & a couple piece of white bread. Reminded me of an Uncle Remus G-pan and tasted like it too. They definitely got some people who know what they're doing when it comes to Chicago style chicken The pickup process was a breeze too. Showed up and my order was ready when they said it would be. You know great customer service when you see it and Zza has some of the best I've experienced. It feels like they are happy to see you in their restaurant and appreciate your patronage. As a customer I don't require that but it's great to actually experience it. (Sorry to bury the lede but I've also tried their Chicago Chopped Cheese, which taste like an Italian Beef mixed with a Philly cheesesteak, it is my favorite sandwich I've eaten hands down)

Love Zza, I've posted a review before, but wanted to add these current menu pics. Great staff, unique versions of standard food, excellent catering! Add them to your list. Current ghost kitchen is Fried Hard doing wings, bone in and boneless and tenders. fried Hard is on menu 2.

    Kids meal hamburger

I have called and sent messages with no response. We used to love this place with great pizza but recently ordered and our food was too well done. I am attaching a picture of our kids hamburger meal which wasn't even edible. I didn't get a picture of our pizza with all overdone toppings. We frequent often but won't be going back.

Personal square cheese pizza comes in 4 delicious squares

I've passed by this restaurant in Elgin for more than a year and never stepped inside. They sell a variety of foods, mostly things I don't eat. I went strictly for the pizza and was not disappointed. I ordered a personal cheese pizza that came in 4 squares (detroit style). The crust had that buttery flavor and fried like texture. It was cheesy and a little greasy with a pleasantly tasting sauce. I took mine to go and later popped it in the air fryer with the addition of green onions and mushrooms. The serving size was perfect. This is like my new guilty pleasure, tastes good but so not healthy.

The Food was delicious! Great fast service! Drove 45 minutes to get here! We will definitely be back!!!

First time here and the menu is overwhelming because everything just sounds delicious and I wanted to try everything. But I was in the mood for gyros so I figured that's usually safe to go with. I admit the gyros was a bit disappointing. The strips of gyros was fried to a crisp and I don't particularly like that. The portions were generous. However I prefer sliced onions but they serve it with chopped onions and that really just didn't do it for me. The sauce was meh. I'm picky when it comes to gyros. I know what I like. And this experience isn't enough for me to not come back. I will just not order this again. I ordered a side of their fresh cut fries which was delicious. They were really good and fresh. Also got a side of the cheese sauce which I wasn't a big fan of. I sat in the restaurant to dine and it was very clean. I noticed what others ordered who sat near me and the food does look delicious. Especially their Detroit style pizzas and Italian Beefs. I definitely want to come back and try that and hopefully it will change my opinion and review from 4 to 5 stars.

Thanks for the sauce on the side and tomato. Worst gyro ever... very dry

The person who answered my review is very rude and complaining that I went on yelp. I did call the store first... before writing my review. I shouldn't have to drive home and three days later get a response (( to bring it back )) very disappointing. Check your food before you leave... maybe take a bite

If you eat with your eyes, your mouth will instantly water. Friendly service. Fast service. Inviting dining area. Free refills on fountain beverages. Plenty of food. Just wasn't for me. Tried it twice. Burger didn't have enough flavor and my wings were barely done.

The suburbs don't usually inspire much confidence when someone tells you they're taking you out for…read morepizza. More often than not, you're looking at another tavern-cut pie, a dozen televisions screaming sports highlights, and a menu designed by committee. Safe. Predictable. Forgettable. Then there's Woodfire. I ended up here with my family celebrating my son's second birthday and was immediately reminded that every now and then, hidden among the endless strip malls and chain restaurants of the Chicago suburbs, you'll stumble across a place that actually gives a damn. The Vodka Pizza arrived looking almost too good to touch. Almost. Hot Calabrian vodka sauce. Fresh mozzarella. Shallot. Pepperoni. Ricotta. Basil. A combination that sounds familiar enough until that first bite lands and the heat punches through. Not the fake, watered-down, suburban version of spicy that restaurants use to avoid frightening anyone. This pizza has conviction. It has backbone. The Calabrian peppers make their presence known immediately and refuse to apologize for it. Good. Food should have an opinion. The crust, charred, blistered, beautifully imperfect, comes from house-made dough cooked in a wood-fired oven that sits like the beating heart of the restaurant. Every pie carries those little marks of fire that remind you an actual human being made it. Not a conveyor belt. Not a timer. Fire. Flour. Skill. And speaking of things that deserve respect, let's talk about the bar. Kevin has become something of a local legend in Dundee. The kind of bartender whose name gets mentioned before the cocktail list. The kind of guy who understands that making drinks isn't about pouring alcohol into a glass. It's hospitality, theater, craftsmanship, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Still chasing the heat from the pizza, I ordered the Spicy Flamingo. A dangerous drink. Sweet enough to invite you in. Spicy enough to keep you paying attention. The kind of cocktail that disappears faster than you intended and leaves you contemplating a second before the first one is gone. Around us, bussers moved through the dining room like a pit crew at Daytona. Tables were cleaned before they looked dirty. Empty glasses vanished. New guests were seated. The machine never stopped moving. Then there's Chef Mason. It's obvious someone in that kitchen understands the difference between cooking food and feeding people. There's technique here. Knowledge. Discipline. But thankfully none of the self-important nonsense that infects so many restaurants once they start believing their own press. Woodfire isn't trying to change your life. It's not trying to educate you. It's not trying to be the coolest restaurant in the room. Like Ferris Bueller, it understands that life moves pretty fast. So instead of chasing trends, it focuses on making exceptional handmade pizza, memorable pasta, serious cocktails, and creating a place where people actually want to spend an evening. In a world full of restaurants desperately trying to be something, Woodfire succeeds by simply being exactly what it is. And that's a hell of a lot rarer than it should be.

Woodfire fits naturally into the heart of Dundee -- relaxed, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. The…read morepizza is the highlight, bringing a fun, flavorful approach that works well for both casual nights out and group dinners. The young girl working was miserable. No hi, how are you, smile, or customer service period. Just hit me with the old, what's the name on the order. I told her and she says it's going to be an additional 25 min. Was not happy to hear considering the weather was getting worse outside and I had 6 other people waiting on me for dinner. I waited inside an additional 35 minutes until the order was finally done. I understand it was a Saturday night and football was on, but, like another Yelper posted below, let the customer know ahead of time. Have the system update and let folks know it will be a longer wait. While I was waiting for the order, someone called in asking where their pizza was. There was confusion amongst the staff and the customer on phone was told the driver was finally on the way. That explained a lot right there. Seems this is a common issue. The pizza was not correct as ordered. Ended up with different toppings than what we had originally ordered but everyone had waited 2 hours to eat so we just ate it. The pizza is OK. When I called I was very disappointed to hear they discontinued my staple, The Grinder on garlic toast. Oh well...I am flexible... I was exited about the chicken parmesan sandwich in garlic toast, we also ordered a chicken Alfredo, Italian beef and fries. To start with my chicken parmesan WAS NOT on garlic toast (which I paid extra for) the chicken was overcooked, dry and strips. Ate about three bites. The fries we under cooked and soggy and the chicken parmesan had NO flavor. Italian beef was neither good nor bad... Well, anyone can have an off day so I decided I would just stick to their pizza which historically had been delicious. Fast forward to today, I was returning for a 2.5 hour drive and thought I'd treat myself to a delicious pizza for today and preparing for tomorrows incoming snow storm. I picked the pizza up and headed home. Sadly, I should have checked it there before leaving...the bacon was all burnt (tasted burnt not just looked burnt). Yes, I did pick off most of the burnt bacon, but got $30+ for a picked up pizza that is not really ok with me ... beyond that the crust was soggy and I couldn't really pick up the pieces to eat them. It will be an extremely long time before I order or go there again. Makes me very sad as this used to be a staple of mine and it is SOOOO close to home. Good luck if you choose to give them a try...

All that's fine, this place is definitely somewhere you wanna belly up to the bar and watch a game or chill on the patio with friends. THE PROBLEM: On their website and a lot of other "kids eat free" sites, they list Sundays as kids eat free. In this economy, I appreciate that and we'll usually hit these places up. When our check came and we saw the kids meals charged, we asked and were told, "yeah they haven't updated the website in years." I didn't really want to make a big stink out of them still not honoring the deal because my man was having a tough time, so we tipped accordingly and agreed not to go back. A shame because since moving here 5 years ago, we really want to support local businesses and after finally trying Dannys, the food isn't good enough to bring us back.
