Sorry had to post late! Yesterday I ordered the 16 tender meal with 2 mash. and 2 coleslaw along with the 3 piece box also mash. and coleslaw, I've NEVER been so ANGRY about my food order till now! The coleslaw was mushy and sour! It's NOT supposed to be like that! KFC coleslaw is supposed to be both crunchy and sweet yet we got whatever that was! My sister VOMITED after just one bite of that coleslaw and so did my husband! I also asked for the drink to be Pepsi and they gave me HOT SWEET TEA instead! We've been eating at KFC for years. My young daughters (5 and 8) love the macaroni and cheese. Just the other night, after their dance class, we went to get them M&C and some fried chicken (for the parents). However, we had to wait.. 14 minutes.. for "original" fried chicken. I asked to have the M&C given early while we were waiting because they were hungry. Now is their favorite and they both commented on the taste and texture. Said "the cheese is really clumpy," took 3-4 bites and quit. We get home and I taste it. To me, it even tastes funky. I am so disappointed! 2-3 weeks ago we ate that same M&C and it tasted nothing like it did that night. read more

I had not been to KFC in a long time; by a long time, I mean years, in Havelock because of the quality of food. It made me sick. So I went twice last week 1st from a box with 3 dar chi ken fries and drink. I ended up throwing basically all of but one piece of chicken away. . Gave it one more try because my son is a picky eater, and he loved the fries. I ordered chicken tender/strip meal and my son some fries and a drink ot was $21 dollars. It again felt sick after eating it. ..never going back! read more

The general manager, Carol Lee (spelling), this store lacks the customer service skills as well as the attitude and aptitude needed to maintain and grow your market share. She is rude, lacks basic problem-solving skills, and openly displays an unwillingness to help. She refused to think outside the box in being a solutions provider when I simply wanted to switch/add green beans to an online order. If her rudeness is indictive of the food and overall service, I would advise all to BEWARE!!! read more

Worst kfc. Everything is always wrong or they don't have it. No white meat and no extra crispy!!!! This is a chicken place wth.

Refused to make anything but fried chicken and biscuits because they close in a half hour. Every food place I've worked, you make food til closing, then you close. I've also had a time where I ordered a crispy colonel and then they gave me what I assumed was a chicken little (a smaller sandwich). I came back and they said it was a crispy colonel but the meat was so small that they just put it on the chicken little bun. read more

Saturday night. 10:30. I really wish I knew who the owner was. The staff refused to make anything other than a chicken biscuit this time of night. Told us that's all they're going to do. They're closing. one of my kids used to work here and baked us not to eat here. Wouldn't tell us why. But honestly, this is got to be the worst KFC between California Nevada Virginia and North Carolina that I've ever been at. People are rude. The people are lazy. They rarely get your order correct. And if they don't feel like it, they don't cook. Even if it's a half hour before they close. Last time I went here, they gave us two halves of one chicken strip and three potato wedges as a meal... I am not sure why this place hasn't gone out of business. And I'm not sure why they continue to hire the same type of people over and over. read more

my issue is their closing time. their site & store say they close at 10pm but when I previously went before those times. the store was closed. the last few times the store has been closed before 10pm it's just super annoying. read more

If Sean L is on deck then your order will be correct and just like you ordered it. I think he is the manager. Not 100% on that though. We had a large order for pickup. We ordered through Yelp utilizing GrubHub. First time doing this for fast food. The food was done quickly and received a confirmation. When I walked in Sean greeted me and pulled my order. He went through the whole order to make sure everything was correct. He said the two large fries were a bit short and added some more. He then grabbed two extra BBQ sauces and made sure we had napkins and sporks for our order. Then he grabbed our drinks as ordered. Plain and simple, great customer service, attention to detail. Just did everything right for our order. Good management makes the fast food experience a lot more enjoyable. read more

Service was very rude. Ran out of Mac'n'cheese. Locked the doors early. Very disappointed.

As a local I use to really enjoy going here but unfortunately this KFC location has gone down hill drastically. The biscuits are old or overcooked. The popcorn chicken was not crispy at all, just tasted like breading and the box wasnt full. This is not the first disappointment here either. I wanted to give this location another try but they continue to disappoint. read more

If you want good hot and fresh chicken this is not the place, I when there a 4:37 3 April 2019 and order a 8pc Meal with 2 Sides and 4 Biscuits sound like a good meal right, wrong Chicken was dry and old, Biscuits hard and the Pot Wedges old and dry. I live in New Bern and when I called back they wanted me to come all the way back to Havelock to get a replacement, I asked if I could just go to KFC in James City it is right down the street from me. No!! when I asked for the office number she would not give it to me. Next time I past though Havelock I will go to Bojangles. read more

My husband an I just drove through and they took forever even though there was no one inside and no line at the drive through. Both of our orders were given to us either completely wrong or missing pieces. One of us ordered a famous bowl and the other order included a side of mashed potatoes and gravy but they neglected to give us utensils or napkins. Half assed service. read more

My family & I stopped there for lunch today & the cashier was SO VERY RUDE!!!! My husband laid the money for our meal on the counter & the young girl WOULD NOT pick it up, only stuck her hand out & looked at him like WHAT??? Then as we were getting out drinks I overheard her say & was NOT about to pick that money up!!! Not to mention the front door was propped open & the store was right next to a busy highway AND one of the staff's 3 kids were playing on a laptop in the corner!!!! This was the worst expierence in a fast food place I've even been involved in. The manager who was on duty, Denis, not only had the worst attitude to be in a hospitality business, but had no control over the attitude and ignorance that was coming from her staff. When my friend ordered her food, before she even paid, she asked what came on the sandwhich that she wanted to order, the manager turned around to one of her staff and rudely said, "Hey don't start making those sandwhich because the person didnt tell me about the modifications" then turned back around explained the meal, bickered back and forth with her co worker and gave my friend a hard time about wanting nothing on her sandwhich but the bun and meat. Then another customer came up to the counter and grabbed some paper towels off of a paper towel roll that she left sitting on the counter, she then proceeded to walked away from me in the middle of the my order, grabbed the roll out of his hand and just placed it on the shelf behind her without saying a word. Come to find out my friends order was wrong and she refused to cook my potato wedges just a little longer. I'm appalled at this whole situation. This was my first time back to a KFC in many many year and will not be going back. Oh and to top it of that I ordered some crispy dark meat chicken, her staff then informed her there wasn't any left. Then manager asked her coworker how long on that crispy chicken, he replied with an "I dont know" and she said well they just have to get extra crispy. Hahahah this all was a joke. read more

I went through the drive thru. Ordered an 8 piece original. There were only 7 pieces, was missing a breast. They mixed in some extra crispy. Chicken had obviously been sitting a while. Not happy at all. If I wanted dried out rewarmed chicken I could have got some frozen Banquet chicken. read more

I just left there and I have to say I have NEVER been treated so rude in all my life! The cashier got my order wrong and a co worker gave me hard time about it! The total came up to over $20.00 for what should have been about $6.00. The second worker took off the additional 2 meals that the cashier added on but refused to make my order correct.
