Food was great!! Only one table but would recommend for takeout. Staff was very friendly.

A friend of ours recommended we try this place and I'm glad we did. The food was pretty dang good! The menu is a bit small, but we made it work. The staff were friendly. There's one little table in the restaurant, so eating in probably isn't a thing, but that's fine with us. Everyone starts somewhere. We'll definitely order again.

The gyoza is great, it always comes at a reasonable time (we order in), the AK47 roll is delicious. We get Oki's anytime we're in the mood for some quality sushi.

Hate to only give 3 stars because everyone was very nice and I like to support local places. However, it took 30 min to get a chicken teriyaki bento box! The rice was nice and sticky and the soy sauce was salty and tangy. Chicken was gummy and appeared to have been pre-cooked because it had a grilled flavor, not teriyaki- which was too thick and tasted old. Gyoza could've been excellent, but was not fresh, and looked brown on one side as if it had been reheated. Overall, I would give Oki's a 3.5, bit too many food mistakes to get higher. I'll try again and chalk it up to a bad, busy lunch day because others have shown me to-go orders that looked and tasted fresh and great!

Bento box D: shumai, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura (not pictured) and teriyaki wings appetizer.. So good!

They deliver.. Yes it takes a while but our food always comes hot! Love it. I always get the chicken katsu and my husband usually gets the curry chicken. The servings are large IMO. I can't find one everything in one sitting but then again, I don't like to stuff my face.

Love the sushi from this little place. It's definitely a small take out place but the hibachi is just as good as anywhere else. I like it

For what it is as a smaller, quick, take out eatery OKi's is great! The servings are very fair and the food is enjoyable.

First one in and I walked from the hotel Lela only 1/2 mile away. At the recommendation of my super sweet server I tried the fire cracker shrimp which was a regular specialty on he table placard. I also noticed the cod miso which intrigued me so I order it. What brought in though was the Hamichi Kama which I ordered also. On top of this they brought out a black seaweed/gyoza sample. The. On top of that since it is my birthday week they brought me the green tea mocha. Wow to say I am stuff was an understatement. So since this was a progressive ordering situation which I created the food came out sort of mish mash. I started with black seaweed / gyoza sampler. It was awesome. I would have ordered more had I not already ordered . Then I moved on to the bang bang shrimp. 8 breaded shrimp with their version of bang bang sauce. Plump shrimp with a chili sauce. Not bad. The sauce was just a chili style sauce and so left some to be desired. Then the cod miso came out. Wow. Super hot and had actual chunks of cod and veggies in it. Very good. Then the Hamichi Kama which came out. Amazing. I had this before in Japan and in West Virginia. Amazing. Definitely a recommend. Then they brought out the green tea mochi with green tea ice cream. It was the best I have ever had. Amazing meal definitely needed the walk back to try and walk some of it off. The restaurant is small and reservations are highly recommended. Definitely worth the trouble and I plan to return in the future to try some other items.

The restaurant itself was huge. At that point, I was convinced I had discovered the Din Tai Fung of the coast. I walked in expecting a life-changing meal. Unfortunately... my expectations may have been a little too ambitious. The good news first: the sushi saved the day. It was genuinely good. So good, in fact, that I ordered another roll called the Yummy Yummy Sushi. Great name, right? Unfortunately, the Yummy Yummy Sushi apparently decided it was not ready to participate in dinner. We waited. And waited. And waited. I kept hoping it would magically appear because I really didn't want to cancel it. But eventually, we had finished all our food and it was almost time for the check, so I had to say goodbye to my dreams of Yummy Yummy Sushi. The Tom Yum soup was probably the second-best item. Huge portion and pretty good. Now, let's talk about the Pad Thai. I have eaten Pad Thai in many places. But this was the first Pad Thai in my life that came with enough liquid to qualify as a soup. I honestly wasn't prepared for Soupy Pad Thai. I left more than half of it. The chicken fried rice was also unusually wet, and the chicken was bland and cut so thin that at times I genuinely couldn't tell whether I was eating chicken or egg. On the positive side, the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to many other beach-area restaurants where your wallet leaves hungrier than you do. The portions were generous too. Overall, I really wanted to love this place. With that crowd and the long wait, I was expecting a huge pleasant surprise. Instead, most of the meal was pretty mediocre. But here's the thing: options around Emerald Isle are limited. So if you're seriously craving Asian food, this is still a reasonable stop. Just maybe stick with the sushi... and if you order the Yummy Yummy Sushi, perhaps order it before you leave home.
