Even though I've got two Jersey Mike's locations somewhat close to the home office, I've never been to either of them. Put us on vacation in North Carolina though (our only visits to this chain prior were at the Manteo store) and suddenly we stop here. It's the same ordering process as we experienced in Manteo with the order being taken at the counter, then you pay and then the food is brought out to your table if it's a hot sub but any cold subs are done before you pay. One more weird thing about the ordering process both here and in Manteo. When we order the meatball sub there is always this pause from the staff and the need to check if they actually have any meatballs available regardless of the time of day. I don't get that. If it's on the menu, it should be available. Only William Shatner is allowed to make dramatic pauses like this. #13 - Original Italian #15 - Meatball #17 - Philly Cheesesteak #20 - Grilled Pastrami Ruben There were two downsides to the order. By the time the meatball sub actually got to the table the person with the Italian was nearly finished. Yeah, it was that long. Second was that everything was beyond messy. Meatballs-sauce-sauerkraut-oil-vinegar-steak meat everywhere. It was as if the food was made by someone with a blindfold on or during some severe seismic event. Whatever profit the store made on our order was partially wasted on the amount of napkins we burned through. The one, and I suppose the only one that matters, thing that is most important is that everything tasted great. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold and everything was made the way we asked in terms of toppings. With the slow implosion of Subway very much in progress, Jersey Mike's while far more expensive, is a much better alternative if you're going to go the chain sub route. If our food were put together a bit neater this would be a five star review and I truly don't give up many of those especially for food establishments. A+ read more

Went to Jersey Mikes today with my husband and mother. The lady behind the counter in the red shirt was very rude! We got 3 regular subs 3 drinks and 1 bag of chips. When we went to get our drinks the root beer and the lemonade we're both out. Which is the beverage we all wanted. I went back up to the lady and she said for us to pick another option. Rude Then there was a driver for door dash (which I did not know) he said he had been waiting for over an hour. I feel sure that when he deliveries the food the customer are not going to tip him and probably give him a bad rating when that rating should have gone to Jersey Mike's. read more

Salutations, while running errand my friend and I stopped in at Jersey Mikes in Morehead City. I must say I wanted to leave a review because the customer service was absolutely superior. The line was out the door but the slicer spoke to everyone that entered the building as well as we approached to take our order. Furthermore when in dilemma about what to order the crew was kind enough to make a suggestion for me that I am thankful for because it was very delicious and satisfying. Thanks from the shift of 3/21 AM/Mid; I am recently moving and my sandwich was made wrong. I found out after I had gotten home and as a bunch of picky eaters who don't do onions, nobody wanted it. I had called back and was told they apologized and they would have me one remade. Once I got there they asked about returning the sandwich that was wrong, I wasn't told to bring it back I had just thrown it away. They just gave me the sandwich anyways, but I can see how I could have just been making it up. The second sandwich was what I originally ordered and they sent me off wishing me to have a good day again and apologized. This crew made the moment right, regardless of having the sandwich or not and I appreciate it as it was a genuine error with no takers for the sandwich. THAT is customer service. Especially for being so busy during lunch, it was very clean. I had never been there before today, except once to pick up an online order. So, I decided to stop and get a sub for my husband and I. Big Mistake! I left quite annoyed! The guy taking my order was pretty short with me. He seemed very impatient and quite "busy." Although they really didn't seem busy at all. Apparently, he didn't have any customer service skills that he was aware of. Besides, I don't care if he had been busy! A representative of any business should never make a customer feel like an inconvenience! I prefer places that are courteous to their customers and allow for some time to decide what you want without making you feel rush. I would not recommend this place and I doubt I will be going back. Although, I will say that the food wasn't bad. They did not toast my Philly cheesesteak, but maybe I should have specified. I thought that it was a given that hot subs are toasted, but maybe not. I typically love Jersey Mike's and visit several locations throughout a year. On a recent vacation, went to this location and was very disappointed. The ingredients were not as fresh as usual, the amount of meat was not as much as usual, and the worst thing was that the food preparers were NOT MASKED. We order online for pick up. When we showed up the bag was sealed. We got it home part of the order was wrong and another part of the order missing. We called immediately, they rudely said we could come back and pick up the missing part of the order and offered no remedy for the incorrect portion of the order. When we arrived back at the store to pick up the missing part and they didn't have it ready. They acted as if they were inconvenienced and had an attitude. Normally I have a 5-star experience here. But last night I was behind about 5 people in line so I took the opportunity to use the rest room. When I returned to the counter, there were no customers there and the manager (dark polo shirt) immediately took my order. He prepared my sub roll and sliced the meat for my regular #13 on white. Then his crew of about 5 proceeded to make at least 8 other on-line orders to include at least 15 subs of various types and sizes right in front of my order. Thus, making me wait for at least 10-15 minutes for them to catch up on their on-line orders. No one, manager included, took a moment to finish making my sandwich while I was standing right there in front of them. I jokingly stated that I didn't see all those customers in front of me in line. The manager said, "They came from somewhere". Then I asked the manager if that was how they normally handle their online orders? That is, making a multitude of subs, without other customers there waiting, in front of a waiting customer? He nodded yes. We eat here all the time, and its usually great. But this experience was awful! We always get mikes way, well this time it was oils way. OIL WAS ERRRRVERY WHEREEE! It was like eating a neatly made oil sub. Dont know maybe the bottle went crazy or what. Really turned us off...For the prices you would think the quality would be better also. Against my better judgement (because they're the only Jersey Mike's in town), we've returned here a couple of times. It had been a while, perhaps the attention to detail had improved. Twice (including today) I've ordered a couple of subs for pick-up and they've left the bacon off of a club sub I've ordered. It's a club sub, it comes with bacon, how do you mess that up repeatedly? It's good.. they just skimp you on everything that goes on your sandwich. It's the only Jersey Mike's that I've been to that does that.

We had such a great experience eating at a Jersey Mike's for our family's first time. We enjoyed the fresh cut meat taking right out of thier deli counter. Fresh baked bread that they come in daily and bake. Fresh ingredients, fresh veggies and so on. The sandwich was so delicious they just earned our business forever. My wife likes Jimmy John's I think its just ok. We both agree and dislike Subway. I feel like thier subs are always just bread and whatever toppings you add. Jersey Mike's subs are legit. The real deal when it comes to subs. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful beibg it was our first time visiting this chain. They suggested things and were very proud of thier jobs. To say the least we were genuinely impressed by everything so much that I personally went and shook the young man's hand who said he was the manager. He should be proud of the work his staff is doing. Hopefully his boss reads this and gives that staff a promotion and raise. read more

My family was going out on the boat for the day and headed to Subway. I took a chance and called your restaurant to see if you were open but the answering machine picked up. I did not leave a message. However, Khaliq from Jersey Mike's called me back using the caller id. I told him that I needed some subs for our boat trip. Khaliq informed me that they were not open for another 45 mins. He then said, I will make you all of your subs now even though we are not open. I was so impressed with Khaliq and his initiative. Once I arrived, Khaliq was very professional. He made us THE BEST Italian subs that I have eaten in a very long time.
