Very disappointed. I ordered a 5 PC. Tenders combo through the drive thru and when I opened it, the tenders were dried out, thin pieces of rubber. They looked as if they had been sitting around in the bin for quite some time. The fries were cold and soggy and the biscuit was hard as a rock. The cole slaw was actually the only thing that was edible in the box. My husband got a chicken pot pie which was okay. I am upset that I paid $20 for basically a pot pie, a small cole slaw, and 2 sodas because everything else went in the trash. read more

If you are feeling like chicken you can't go wrong with a bucket of the Colonel's original recipe legs, wings, thighs, and breasts. The sides (mashed potatoes, biscuits, green beans, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, etc.) are delicious as well. Whether it is take-out, dine-in, or drive-thru, my food is always piping hot and delicious. Of all of the KFC's that I've dined in over the years and driven through over the years, this is one of the best. Although I wish KFC here had the buffet, so many of the KFC's do not have the buffet any longer. Cashier Donna at KFC in this location is wonderful--she is customer-centric, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, greeting every diner with a smile. I most enjoy the famous bowl and at this location it was delicious. The famous bowl includes mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, breaded chicken topped with cheddar cheese. It might sound like a strange combination but it is delicious! I hope that this KFC location will continue to offer specials like the Fill Up box for $5 where you get a famous bowl, a medium root beer or other beverage, and a chocolate chip cookie as an example. That $5 deal can't be beat. 2 piece chicken and a biscuit is a very reasonable deal at $3.79. So for two people eating, $9.32 is filling and good quality food for a decent price. read more

I agree with Ben M. We just visited yesterday and it was an awful experience. The crew here is so disorganized. Only one young man seemed to kno what the hell was going on. profanity was used, very loudly i might add, and there was conversation actually about their reviews, and i suppose recent reviews that were posted on one of the review sites. I could only imagine from what they were saying that they werent positive erviews. But it didnt seem to bother them, including the manager. they were outta legs, was told 20 minutes... decided to order and wait for the legs for my daughter. we waited over 1/2 hour to get them, and only cuz i went up to find out where they were. Manager didnt seem to kno what was going on til she asked the one and only competent young man worker who said yes and he would get it. it was cold in the establishment, the staff was horrible. the food was meh... my chicken strips were literally that, thin as paper(actually more breading than chicken tbh). and soda tasted watered down even tho i asked for no ice. cole slaw and potatoes were good(only reason im even giving any starts, oh and for the young man that was actually doing his job. Dont think ill be eating here again. Too bad too, we visit Hazleton more than we do Pottsville. read more

this place is usually the best chicken place in town. If its hot outside you know this place is very well air conditioned. it has a cool 25 cent ball game for kids. The people there are almost always the most polite best people you could find at a fast food restaurant. I and my family go here ALL of the time. read more

Let me begin by saying that this KFC is located right next to Hazleton General Hospital (convenient for the inevitable heart attack). I've had family admitted on several occasions and the birth of my son so I would say that I've visited this location probably 8 times in the last 2 years. The food is standard KFC and generally fresh and tasty. This establishment loses its three stars on service. I have never had a positive experience with the staff. Never. I don't expect white glove service from any fast food place but it seems like the staff here is hugely under trained and that they generally don't give a crap. Not a recipe for success... read more
