They've really improved this location. It's Hemet so I don't expect much but they're a good location. The chicken is always fresh. I always thought the KFC buffet was an urban legend. My boyfriend's brother has raved about it for years but I had always been doubtful. Well, let me say that I've been proven wrong--it does exist!! It's $8.50 for lunch or dinner buffet for adults. They had prices for kids and senior citizens but I was too mesmerized by the array of chicken and sides before me to notice. You can just order chicken in regular meals but why would you? They had all the chicken varieties, sides and biscuits along with some questionable desserts. This is too the KFC in west Hemet, I've been Patronizing your establishment for over 10 years and on July 20th, 2023, I got the worst service ever far as the food quality. On that day I came into your establishment to buy my mom some chicken to celebrate her birthday but what I got in return was the worst chicken I ever had from KFC, I'm a caterer and I know my chicken, I ordered a 12 piece chicken feast for my mom and what I got was 6 pieces of dried out chicken breast that had been sitting under a heat lamp all day 2 small pieces of thighs when you pull them apart it was like leather and 4 drumsticks that were so small one bite and you are done and also tasted like leather. This was so Embarrassing to me and my fiancé. So my fiancé called your establishment July 21st to rectify this situation but all we got was an arrogant, self-centered manager who thinks his restaurant can't do anything wrong and did not apologize and treated my fiancé as if she lying about the situation, his management skills were unbecoming as a manager and should be dealt with severe penalties even if you think you're right you don't talk to a customer like that, Whoever was the manager at 12:30 PM on July 21st needs to be taught management skills. THAT CHICKEN WAS YOUR SCRAPS AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I Used the drive through. I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Drove home and discovered they forgot the cole slaw. The chicken was dry and I could have eaten the mashed potatoes with a straw. They were that watery. I will never eat here again. read more

Very dissatisfied with the managers Frank service. We were given a certificate for outstanding achievement from my kids soccer coach. He wanted to redeem it and we headed to the nearest kfc. I asked if the voucher was accepted at their store and as soon as he saw it he told the nice cashier to give him a minute but with an attitude. Additionally we were purchasing a family meal. I don't know if he thought we were only there to get the free food. But he made us wait for over 10 minutes without acknowledging us and continued to make orders for drive through. I asked again just to know if the voucher was good or not so I can complete the order that I was going to pay for. Again he was very rude and with a nasty attitude that he couldn't help us to give him a minute that he already told the cashier to wait. The food there was awful. I got incredibly sick after 5 hours of ingesting just for it to come back up . I wish I'm exaggerating when I say that was the worse I've felt in my life due to food poisoning . Had the worse stomach pain and violent vomiting on top of It . I have to start with the good; The food was fresh, and delicious, the service was friendly and fast...but we didn't get any butter or honey with our biscuits. If it's policy to make the customer ask for such things, it should be posted that butter and honey are only handed out when requested(cheapskate trick). The buffet offers several styles of KFC Children, but only thighs and leg pieces; we asked for wings at the counter and were given 4... but had to ask. The buffet included mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, biscuits with butter & honey, enchiladas, salad, fruit, cherry cobbler.. and more. ALL YOU CAN EAT! We were there on a very busy Sat. Night, and found the buffet to be well attended to and fairly well stocked; which is hard to do when one customer would come over and literally take every piece of chicken as they put it out! FUN TO WATCH IF YOU ARE NOT NEXT IN LINE WAITING FOR CHICKEN! They promptly brought out more.. what can you say, its a buffet. Serve up a mountain of potatoes and a sea of gravy if you must (personally, we find it easier to just go back for more). We found the people going thru the buffet line to be entertaining to watch and overall an OK experience for the money; not sure its something we will rush back to as we found the chicken to be over cooked and a bit dried out. Something that's hard to do with KFC Chicken, but seems to happen at all KFC stores now! I love KFC buffet. This one has more comfortable seating and its larger than Lake Elsinore. It costs more than Lake Elsinore and the chicken is under a hotlamp so its not as hot as Lake Elsinore if you dont catch it just coming out. They didnt have enough crispy legs so I had to settle for regular, I asked to get what I wanted but they told me they would bring more out but there wasnt enough, unacceptable! You have to order at the counter in Lake elsinore but at least you get exactly what you want piping hot. They have pre order deep fried turkey but they were sold out, bummer!!! read more

I was going to give this place 2 stars compared to the East Florida location which I gave one star. But it changed due to inconsistency.. I was allowed to use the bathroom at this one which was good and it was somewhat clean and lit so it was usable. The employees were friendly and the lady cashier even offered to help take my tray to the table. But I kept having to ask for stuff because they don't have it out like napkins and salt and pepper. And to switch out the silverware. They had no salt (?!) so I only got to have pepper for my mashed potatoes. How do you run out of salt? This is an inventory/management issue. Last I checked those salt packets come in huge boxes and obviously you order before you get low on stock. Or make it work and substitute..go to the store and charge the company or another KFC. Don't be out of salt. The popcorn chicken was easily half the serving amount of the east Florida location. Why? The east Florida location served the popcorn chicken combo in a bucket and this one served it in a smaller to go style container. The inconsistency alone of this meal turned me off and ruined the vibe of the experience. Other than that it is way cleaner and nicer looking than the dingy ghetto east Florida location. read more

I stopped by last evening and placed my order in the drive-thru at 8:12. I waited and waited and waited. Unfortunately I was in a line and couldn't get out of it. When I finally got to the window at 8:38 I asked to speak to the manager about the excessive wait. She never apologized and just said they were running late because of the two cars in front of me. They never offered any compensation in the way of a free drink and acted shocked that I thought a 26 minute wait for an order of chicken popcorn was unreasonable. I have been to this particular location a few times and have found it to be unsatisfactory. I ordered the buffet all 3 times and have had to ask someone to bring more chicken. They do not check the buffet periodically to see what needs to be refilled. When I asked for more chicken the cashier said " I will get some momentarily." What does that mean? 10 minutes, 20 minutes? When another customer complained then more chicken was brought out. By the way, the food in the buffet was cold to warm but not hot. The restaurant was dirty, trash on the floor and food on the seats. The table had been wiped down but not the seats. The walls had food on it and it grossed me out to stare at it while eating. This is a unique KFC because they serve lunch and dinner buffets. You can buy your tradiional meals or do buffet. I decided to do buffet. I actually got fast service today. There's normally a five minute wait between customers but I guess I was lucky. They charge $0.85 if you use your debit card. The buffet has 3 kinds of chicken...bake, original, and extra crispy. The bake was kind of dry and the original was good. For sides they have corn, green beans, baked beans, biscuits, rice, and spaghetti. I went through the drive-thru at night. I asked the girl if she had chicken wings because I couldn't find them on your menu board outside. and she said of course. She even mentioned that there was a box with four wings and two side dishes for $5.99+tax., but was not on the board. I should've known better. I repeated myself to the young lady that the order was going to have chicken wings and she answered yes. When I got home and opened up my box it had a leg and thigh. A leg and thigh sound nothing similar to wings. I'm very disappointed because even after I tried calling him back letting him know that my order was not what I wanted. Several times they picked up the phone and just hang up. Next time I want chicken I rather wait in line for Popeyes. This is the worst KFC ever!!!! I'm going to file a complaint with the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau. I had my wife get the new fill up extra crispy tenders. We didn't get the coleslaw and sauces. When my wife got home I looked at the receipt and we were charged $32.38. I pointed out to my wife that we should have been charged $20 plus tax. So we tried to call them to clear up the issue and they would not answer the phone, after about 10 rings they just pick up the phone and hang back up. Really? Their Colonel's Buffet is actually a pretty good deal; just make sure you go there closer to a peak time so you get a better turnover of the food. $8.99 for an all-you-can-eat Colonel-stravaganza, complete with biscuits, drink, and dessert! Ok I've been wanting to try this buffet for a while now and I finally did. The buffet was $8.99 w/sm. drink for adults. What they don't tell you is the chicken pieces are drumsticks and thighs only. I asked the lady filling the buffet up, if she was going to bring out some breast pieces soon and she just about ripped my head off !!! She said that breast meat was extra and after must huffing on her part she said she could bring me a wing. I politely said no thank you. She gave me dirty looks every time I saw her.I always treat people with respect and I expect the same from them. The young guy who took our order was very nice so it was surprising that they had a mean worker on the buffet line. Today I made the drive to see if this KFC buffet was real. Well it is real. If your a die hard KFC fan might be up your alley. We came in on a day the AC broke so that the visit a little worse. But now about the food it was fresh and tasty. ***Buffet a little small for 8.99 with a drink. But then again KFC doesn't have many choices. On the buffet the have a salad bar with lots of extras. Hot table had fried chicken, baked chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and brown, Mac n cheese, rice, chicken and dumpling soup, broccoli and cheese, apple cobbler, baked beans, string beans, chicken noodle soup. I love this location first because they have a buffet. Not too many of those around here. Secondly because the staff is very friendly.
