I can't give it less than 1 star. Don't use the app, it lies and will tell you your food is ready after it's waited 10 -30 minutes to give the order to the onsite workers. They informed me that when the app says it's ready they are just getting the order so there is no way for the food to be onetime. Plan on waiting 10 - 30 minutes for fast food chicken. Thats after the 20 + minutes the app had you wait. And if you order after 9pm, the app will let you order just for the staff to cancel your order when the apps says its ready. I was told "It's a known issue " that provides a horrible customer experience, a horrible worker experience and shows KFC doesn't care about the customer experience, so who knows if they care about the food they sold. I placed an order online through the mobile app at 7:14pm with a pick up time at 7:28pm, I showed up at 7:35pm and was told the mac n cheese won't be finished for 5 minutes. I waited and waited and waited, and wasn't give my order until 7:51pm. Keep in mind, the app stated a pick up time at 7:28 vs 7:51 just for mac and cheese. It was good but not worth the wait. Went through the drive through the drive through, had to wait over 20 minutes for their 10 piece special. Shame on me not checking before driving off. Got all the way home and the order was wrong. We do not do fast food very often, but we won't be back to this KFC. We had a negative experience at the local Popeyes and thought we'd try something different today. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Popcorn Chicken Combo/Meal. The spicy sandwich had hardly any of the spicy sauce on it, but somehow the entire base bun was completely soaked! Most likely it was sitting under a heater and all condensation got it wet. The popcorn chicken was mainly tiny small pieces of just bread and no chicken which was disappointing too. The fries and biscuits were pretty cold, not even lukewarm. The biscuits were very chewy and seemed leftover and not fresh. Instead of a dense biscuit flavor it was more doughy and tasted underdone. The mashed potatoes with gravy was pretty good tasting though. The sauces are very small, I recommend asking for multiple of whatever kind you're wanting with your meal. *Cannot speak much on the service as we ordered through DoorDash and did not have direct contact with them. Have been twice to the KFC on knowles dr in Hutto, both times orders were incorrect, ordered all dark meat bucket, drumsticks and thighs, both times, multiple pieces of white meat included. Orders never correct, chicken dried out and hard like under a heat lamp or old, brought it home and discovered the issues but didn't want to drive all the way back. My dogs at the house wouldn't even eat it , so bad and dried out. Sent email to KFC hq and they even sent me a 25.00 coupon for a free meal, that was over a month ago, haven't even gone back to redeem coupon knowing how bad this place is. Went for lunch today 12/16/19. This is a brand new location that I have passed a few times. The other places I was considering were both closed on Mondays. The place is small but well appointed. Everything was new and clean. I was a little surprised that they do not have combos that don't need a drink. I had my own water so I ended up getting a combo and not using the drink. Then when I explained he got it wrong, he offered to charge us for the other piece of chicken I originally asked for. I understand he entered it wrong, but then do the right thing customer service wise and give me the other piece for free due to your mistake. I recommend ordering online as some of the prices were different from the location. The 8pc chicken tenders were $10 online compared to $16.99 at the drive-thru. Also we went around 6pm and the restaurant door was locked during business hours. Went through the drive-thru and the person helping us had a hard time hearing (sounded like he was older) that didn't bother me. However, he did come off rude. We ordered a "Mac n' cheese bowl" and he responded "a what?". We repeat the order "one mac n' cheese bowl". He responds " so what do you want??? The bowl, the meal? Which is it?" There's other ways to ask this in this profession. A simple "bowl or meal?" Would've been okay. Maybe he's having a bad day. Also every time I come to this location they are always out of something. I asked for butter for the biscuits and they didn't have any. Thank goodness they had the honey cause usually they're out of it. Also 50/50 chance you won't get the chicken you want. Today, we came to eat a Sunday meal after church with our sons. We ordered a #10 Combo, #14 Combo, the Mac n cheese bowl with the new nuggets, a chicken breast and another nugget meal plus two extra sides for my youngest son. The chicken sandwiches were old like the chicken had been cooked earlier and sat under a lamp for at least a few hours. The fries were overcooked and greasy like they were fried then fried again to warm up. The Mac n cheese was really thick and a little dry on top. For the amount of money we paid, it would've been nice to have fresh food. My husband's sandwich was made incorrectly so they remade it. The second sandwich looked even worse than the first one. I remember having better experiences at KFC but will not return to this location. It's sad that restaurants want to charge higher prices for a lesser quality meal. read more

I'm not the one to write a review a bad one at that but this place treated my mom and I like trash. I've never been treated this way by any establishment in my life. My mom came down and wanted KFC since they don't have one in the place she lives. 1st they wouldn't sell me what I was ordering. They kept messing with me and telling me no or it would take 30 min. I gave them constructive feedback about customer service. I was not rude or anything. Then they kept trying to show off in front of some ladies. I made a pick up order through UberEats. When I arrived they had closed early for bad weather (some rain but no ice or snow at the time). They had locked the door and taped a sign they would be closed tomorrow but there was nothing about already closing that day. Went through the drive-thru since the app was saying my order was done and ready for pickup. Manager rudely stated he was closed before I had said a word. I tried to explain we had already paid and the food was allegedly there while he interrupted repeatedly and spoke over me to say he closed early and had put everything away over and over again. When I asked him to cancel the order, he told me to do it and shut off the intercom. So disappointed when visiting this kfc. While at the drive through window I overheard a supervisor screaming at the employee helping me at the window. I first thought it was a customer until I looked up and realized it was her supervisor. He then while screaming at her told her that " they can wait, where are they going to go?" Again in a loud screaming manor. I then realized he was speaking about me. I asked the young lady if I could speak to him. I could see him and he refused to come to the window which then made me raise my voice to let him know that it was not ok how he as speaking to his employee or how he was speaking about customers. I was shocked that the girl at the window was not wearing a mask or gloves given the covid-19 pandemic we are experiencing. she said they are provided but mandatory. I went there yesterday around 6:50, over an hour before they close. There was a very young guy working the drive through, he seemed new and nervous. He asked what my order was, I guess he didn't put it in the computer. Then the manager comes up, covered in tattoos and looking annoyed, he was a major jerk and that's keeping things polite. He basically chewed out this kid in front of me, the he was hitting the computer and slamming things.
