Wowza!! First time & I am in love!! To think I have been living in Texas for 15 years and missed out on this! Makes me wonder what else I missed on! The decoration & decor was very in my element as you can see in photos. The restaurant was super clean, all chairs pushed in, trash empty, floors clean, all drinks working in the machine & it was also clean. So clean that I dined in. The chicken was hot temp which I love! If I am going for fried, I want smoking hot out the grease hot! Cane's delivered that and the flavors, yes, the flavor is unmatched when dipped in the famous Cane's sauce. I now get all the talk on Sauce TOK. It's really that good. The Service was so friendly. Quick order & they were happy to provide my request for crispy fries. One thing about me, the crispier the fries, the better and if I am going to go fast food & with a non-complex carb, I want them HOT & Crispy. Not only did Cane's deliver the crispy fries, they surprised me with extra fries & BREAD (toasted on both sides as recommended). No way I could eat all those fries & bread but I did take that bread home. The go put on a show with calling out my name for my food. The employees were so happy & seemed to actually like each other which is rare to see these days. Raising Canes HIT in all the right ways!!! This Raising Canes was all the right & none of the wrong. Chicken fingers is always a matter of taste, like chicken sandwiches (Chick-Fil-A vs Popeyes). I mean, these are ok but I prefer a crispier finger than RC makes. The sauce is good but not the best thing ever. The guy at the counter didn't have a lot of enthusiasm asking all the standard option questions, and since the menu is limited, it's not taxing work. I think too much is tied up in "the story" of the place without real heart in the food. The interior is roomy but a bit cold. I do appreciate the bench near the counter for waiting for a to-go order. As I understand things, Raising Cane's has a reputation for an efficient drive-through process, like Chick-fil-A does, but this I didn't test and frankly don't want to try. read more

The app is the worst. I ordered for curbside pickup. I got there early but nobody came out. Waited five minutes after my ready time. Then drove through drive through where everyone was hanging out because nobody was in the drive through. Very nonchalant. When I got to the window the girl asked me if I used the app to tell them I was there. I never saw that option and I looked for it. She said she would get her manager but the manager didn't come. I just wanted my food so I didn't press it. My family spends an ungodly amount of $$ per month at Canes and I was trying to get my food faster by using the app. Instead it was way slower. Really disappointed. Please don't have an app that doesn't work and doesn't get to the final step. Just before Christmas Eve, my family and I ordered two meals from the drive-through, and our kids got food poisoning. First time trying Raising Cane's. We don't have this restaurant where I live and I MIGHT JUST HAVE TO MOVE to be close to a Cane's. I have never tasted chicken like this. It's SO juicy. Crispy, crunchy, and juicy. They could charge a million dollars for it, I don't care, I'd just start saving up my money and counting down the days until I could buy it again. The sauce was great too. I'm a fan (somewhat) of Raising Cane's, less so of this location. As a rule, the chicken strips are high quality, made of juicy white breast meat. Fries are normally quite good too, as is the coleslaw. However, either the location I used to visit down in Lakeway along the 620 was being generous or company policy has changed - since when did they charge you for switching out sauces or a packet of extra sauce? At .40 cents this is a minor charge but it rankles as a nickle-and-dime tactic. This location is also inconsistent with speed and staff quality. At times they're right on. Other times it seems they're overstaffed, with people who don't seem to know what to do or don't care to jump in. Last night when I visited for dinner, there were two extra people who didn't care to do anything, while the manager trained a new employee on the register. The new employee had to fumble their way through a basic order, and forgot to give me my drink cup afterward. Look, I know trainees are put in a tough spot and you do need to invest time in your people. However, don't train them during the dinner rush! The line is slowed and people get cranky. (In fact the lady behind me grumbled, 'come on folks, the choice is 'chicken' or 'chicken', this shouldn't be tough!') In any case, Caine's does very good chicken fingers - just be sure to allow extra time at this location! This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Will skip the review of the drink, that's not why we were there. Fries - good, fresh and crunchy. Chicken Fingers - these were outstanding quality, would try again. Also the side of Cole slaw was missing. My drink was not full it was between 1/2-3/4 full. I paid good money for this and didn't expect this. First things first, let it be known that I love Cane's. Their chicken fingers are some of the juiciest and crispiest chicken fingers and paired with their Cane's sauce it definitely calls for being one of my faves. I'm not a fan of their coleslaw but everything else on their menu is money in my book. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I feel like this location is hit or miss. Sometimes I get nice, decent size chicken fingers. Sometimes I get big ones (love when this happens!) But more often than not, I get tiny ones. Raising Cane's is a great quality fast food restaurant that features chicken tender meals. It's comparable to Zaxby's, and they feature their own super yummy dipping sauce. I like that Raising Cane's supports its local community. My family and I walked the Trail of Lights at Zilker Park, and RC had a tent set up. It featured a mini obstacle course for kids to run, and when they completed it, they would get a certificate for a free kids meal. It was a fun activity and it works as advertising, because we went right away to get that meal. The staff at this RC was very friendly and thorough with their service. The restaurant was clean inside, and the condiment station was well stocked and organized. My boyfriend and I split The 3 Finger Combo - Three Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, One Cane's Sauce, Texas Toast, and Regular Drink (22oz). The food is made to order, and takes a minute to get out to you. The chicken fingers has this breading that's crunchy and flaky, but not too thick. The fries are thick cut, which is great for dipping into the sauce. I like to wrap a chicken finger in the toast and eat it like a sandwich. You can buy an extra Cane's Sauce, which is like a seasoned ranch, for 50 cents. I LOVE that sauce!! The menu is very simple and straight-forward, and reasonably priced. Went through the drive thru today for a quick lunch on the go. The fingers are very large and the breading is go. They came out about as hot as anyone could hope for but I do not think they use a spec of salt or seasoning. The fries were plain and salt free and even the Texas Toast lacked any flavor. I was very disappointed. A little salt would have gone along ways. I also asked for Ketchup and they must have forgot to put it in the bag. I doubt I will this again. Raising Canes is a great fast food place. They serve chicken, fries, slaw and toast. Thats the entire menu and it s great. I have been eating Cane's for the past several years in Houston and traveling Louisiana. The chicken taste is quite fresh, hand breaded and always comes out hot. The cane's sauce is what makes the meal. It just works perfectly with the chicken. Love the Texas toast served with it. I think $7 for a combo is great, plus you can sub out the slaw for something else. Great place to take kids to go eat. Its just simple good tasting fresh chicken that is way better alternative than many other fast food places. Don't believe the haters. Raising Canes is the real deal. read more

I was excited to try this place because I always see the videos on Instagram of people plummeting chicken into their "Cane's sauce" but man I was disappointed. So I'm not from the area but I will say other chicken places have far better chicken IMO. Now if you have eaten here it's a no fluff menu... chicken strips, fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. Oh they do have a chicken sandwich but that's about it. I'm all for menus with precision but serve it up then because Cane's was missing it! Chicken strips were pretty good... a basic fried chicken strip... a couple notches above dare I say a Tyson chicken strip. Fries are you general crinkle cuts, should be cooked more. I say this because not only my order but my friends order when you pick up a long fry it flops over... so it could definitely use a minute or two more in the fryer. The Cane's sauce was very good, it without a doubt heightened the taste of the chicken and fries. I did not care for the Texas Toast... it wasn't bad but it was just bread with sesame seeds to be honest, took one bite and the rest was meant for raccoon trash raids. Hold up but the sweet tea though.... amazing. It was very good a must! Overall try this place just to say you tried it but it isn't anything special in my opinion. read more
