I wanted to thank everyone who works at the Hutto Chick-fil-A for helping my teenage daughter out last month when her car died in the drive-through and wouldn't start (dead alternator). It was a first for her, so she was overwhelmed and anxious. The courteous staff at the drive-through, many of whom are only a few years older, helped her through it. They worked together to push it to a safe location out of the way of the other customers, until I could leave work and get a tow truck there. This Chick-fil-A is my go-to spot when we're craving their food. As you might know, Chick-fil-A locations are always busy, and their drive-thru setups can sometimes be complicated and stressful. I'm rating this location based on its drive-thru, as I haven't yet visited the inside. Upon arrival, it's very easy to maneuver through the drive-thru. If you order online for drive-thru pickup, the process is simple: just give them your name, and they'll process your order right away. However, if you have a large vehicle like mine, navigating the parking lot to get in and out can be challenging when it's busy. This is more due to the layout of the private lot than the Chick-fil-A itself. I enjoy coming here because it doesn't trigger my anxiety. Typically, I find eating at Chick-fil-A stressful due to the busyness of their locations, but this one is well-organized and less stressful to visit. read more

Never had a bad experience at a chick fil an until this one. Literally rude service by the ladies at the drive thru window mainly Adrianna. Asked if everything was all set in our bags when Adrianna responded with "did you get your food? Did you get your drinks? Then that should be it." With attitude. Like what? Our order was almost $70, yes I'm going to make sure what I ordered is there before I get home. Anyway, I proceeded to park next to the drive thru to make sure I'm getting our full order just to be met with missing an entree. I park and go inside .. what do you know they have it there in a bag ... but NOT HANDED to me at the drive thru. As I went in my sister wanted to eat at her fries since we were taking longer with having to go through the bags and going back inside to get our missing food. She was met with a really LONG hair. This just put us off on the food at this place. Rude customer service, went back to get a refund and the manager wasn't much help either not asking why or trying to make it right. The food is always spot on regardless the time of day. The issue I have is service, it's a hit or miss. It's never consistent with friendliness. Today example: the girl taking my order was kind of hostile and unfriendly. But the gentleman giving me my food was a sweetheart! I love coming here to pick up a chicken sammy or waffle fries. It was super convenient to pick up food via curbside or delivery, but right now the only option this location offers is going in the drive thru to order, pickup inside the restaurant via a mobile order or pickup via the drive thru through the app. I definitely miss ordering via the app and getting it curbside, but that's ok I went in the drive thru. I know a lot of places are short staffed and trying to do their best. Appreciate that so thank you! The drive thru was not too bad on Saturday morning. The workers are always so friendly and polite. Ughhhh don't get me wrong, I love Chick-fil-A just as much as everyone else. However, this location just ain't it. Save yourself the headache and go 5 miles down the road to the other location. I get Chick-fil-A every Friday and im always placing bets with myself about what will be wrong with my order. Just about every week, the food is either wildly inconsistent taste wise, the order is completely wrong, or im missing food. Today it was missing the fries, which is arguable the best part. Imagine the heartbreak! (Don't get me started on the one time I was given a grilled sandwich instead of fried. I cried myself to sleep that night). The workers there are nice of course, but the drive through line is not fast. Even on a slow day, plan on being in line at least 20 minutes. read more

This location has improved a ton since their opening. They are usually pretty speedy and the food is great every time. Only complaint really is that the parking lot is very tight and can be a pain to navigate if you drive a truck. read more

I ordered on the app and picked up curbside. It was the best experience I've had in a pick up. The app tells you exactly what is happening so there is no guessing. The food was hot and good, they even separated my fries when I accidentally asked for no salt on one of my fries. The person who helped was nice and it was quick for being busy. They definitely have some work to do. Saturday at lunch time and drive through was a little busy but not terrible. It was slow going and when we got to the window there was a bunch of teenagers who couldn't figure out what drinks we were supposed to have but were running food to the car behind us. To top it off they jammed an order for 6 people into one bag and forgot one of our fries. No biggie, my husband ran back in to get it but overall all the fries were so chewy and overdone and cold we couldn't eat most of them. The nuggets also tasted like they fried them in old oil. Milkshakes were great and sandwiches were great however we will keep going to the one on University until they build the one on Hwy 79. read more
