Manager stole the show. Jason made sure I was happy and that I had fresh food. I will definitely put this on my list of great places to stop that also have Truck Parking. A lot of businesses don't want us to park on their property. Some cities actually have ordinances against Truck Parking. It's ridiculous. We went with a coupon, they did not ask us the type of chicken we wanted or the sides we would like. I called to let the manager know and to see if it was common practice. This KFC store is nasty. You can tell it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. I would pass it by. I called the 1800 customer service number to complain about the conditions. The call taker overseas says the local manager is the one that will get back with me. I'm like thats where the problem is. Then I asked if I can speak to someone in the USA since the call center is overseas. Her response is no one is available in the USA. Board of health hope your checking on this nasty place. read more

Omg, this place used to be good. Certainly not today. Started by asking for pepper, not until tomorrow. Went to eat and no edible chicken. (see photo). Waited patiently as my wife ate terrible disgusting sweet potatoes. Finally I asked why there was no chicken at KFC and was told they were out. After I asked for my refund and was leaving, they found chicken. Certainly didn't ring the bell for good service. Don't go there. For some reason on our yearly trip we keep stopping here. Everytime we have we've been met with a buffet that is poorly maintained and have people waiting for them to grace us with 3 or 4 pieces of chicken that we have to have a hunger games style fight over, usually resulting in the first guy taking the majority of it and waiting another 10 mins for some more of the precious rationing of chicken. To top it off every worker behind the counter sees us all sitting there waiting for chicken and just turn eye and ignore the buffet. Even had a guy say something to a lady that was dealing with chicken and she blatantly ignored him and put the chicken back in the warming drawers and walked further back into the kitchen to continue not addressing customer needs. read more

Never seen such incompetent people working a fast food place. Waited in the drive thru after being told that I would be helped just for the lady to say the drive thru was closed and I could "come inside if i want" walked inside to a man just standing at the register not saying anything so I asked if i could order and he said "give me a second" for him not to come back for a while. Conveniently located in Jeffersonville right next to the outlet shopping mall. It was a great stop for us to pick up some lunch after walking around the mall. The workers were very kind and were eager to help. They had a buffet that was all you can eat for an amount of $9.99 or you could simply order off the menu. I decided to go with a $5 chicken strip box. The box included three chicken strips, mashed potatoes, a biscuit and a cookie. The chicken strips were pretty good, however they were very thin. Thinner than any other chicken strip at a chicken restaurant. The sides tasted fresh and I left feeling full. I would go back, however I would not get the chicken strips again. read more

4 stars for a KFC!?! Yes I know KFC has sort of gone downhill in general over the years, but this location isn't bad. The only reason being that they have a buffet, and a steady-enough crowd of truckers and locals to keep the fried chicken and sides coming out fresh and hot. They kept up with the demand for chicken when we went there, though some people tried to horde some items. They only had fried chicken (with a fair amount of drumsticks), your usual KFC sides, plus potato and macaroni salads. Personally a plus, especially considering there are not many KFC buffets around anymore, so coming across one that is actually good was a pleasant surprise. Also a bonus that they have A&W at the same location. Likely due to high volume, many of the tables were not cleaned off by the time we were sitting down, and there was some trash on the ground. The location needs to improve general cleanliness for sure. read more

Sad remains of an American icon. A&W was once the place to go for burgers and floats. The root beer is still good, but the food is purely institutional cafeteria level. To top off the experience, this location is combined with a KFC that has a buffet bar with oddities such as whipped pudding. Sad. The line was moving slowly, but I was patient as I could almost taste the fresh root beer. My turn at the register comes up and I see a piece of binder paper flat on the counter that states "sorry no root beer". Really, they couldn't post it where you could see it while you're waiting in line? An A&W root beer is out of... well their flagship product. I realize that the A&W brand is tacked on to these hybrid KFC's to grab some of the nostalgia crowd, but this location doesn't even care at this point. Today we stopped for dinner hoping it would be the KFC we remembered, it was NOT! It was THE nastiest meal we have ever had at a KFC. We ordered a 3 piece chicken dinner w 2 sides, we received 2 pieces chicken, those 2 pieces were so old and greasy, we also ordered 5 piece Nashville Hot tenders meal, they were also old old old, our drinks were a also pathetic, ordered tea, told no tea, so ordered soft drinks both served to us without ice with no mention of it til I asked for ice. I get that people have bad days but this was off the charts a mess. No wonder the parking lot was empty. No excuses, flat out awful experience. read more

I can't think of enough ways to say no to this place. Took a good 3 minutes to be acknowledged by any of the three employees who walked past the service counter or the manager on duty. When we were finally able to order, cashier did okay...can't mess up a buffet order. Beverage counter was a mess. Drink lid rack was empty, but there was a package of lids lying on top of the napkin rack. Buffet was a mess. Brown gravy for potatoes was very shallow in a deep pan. Chicken was limited at best and old. Went up to get a little more chicken...no white meat. I asked the employee who was taking care of the bar for white meat original recipe. Got a few pieces of extremely overdone meat brought out. Couldn't eat either of the two wings I grabbed. Very bitter flavor and burnt crisp breading. The place was a mess with filthy tables and restroom. The inside was really clean. One of the nicest ones we've been in. The food was great. Ordered a $5 meal box. Got the 3 chicken tenders and they gave us 4. The food was nice and hot and it did not look like it was sitting all day. They did have a buffet which was different. The food on it looked great, just wasn't in the mood for that. After we ate we used the bathroom before getting back in the road, the bathrooms were horrible. Toilet paper all over the floor. One of the toilets were clogged. What a really bad KFC, buffet was not fresh, when we asked for fresh chicken the young man place a few pieces on top of the older dry looking chicken. They had peas on the buffet that looked like they died sometime last week. Customers were wiping off tables so they could sit down to eat. The men's room looked like something out of an old gas station, the smell and dirty sinks needed serious attention. Manger on duty was paying no attention to what was going on. I saw an employee sitting on the counter where food is plated wiping trays. We won't stop here again, and would advise others to find some other place to eat after shopping at the outlet stores. read more

Nice buffet. I was happy to see they put it back. There was one at the old KFC that they tore down and replaced with the KFC/A&W, but they got rid of the buffet when the did that. Well, the buffet is back now, and very good. We went around 2:30, so well after the lunch rush, but the food was still good, and the chicken very fresh and not dried out at all like I've seen it get at other KFC buffets. The price is decent too, it was $8.99, but included a drink. By the time you order a 3 piece meal and get a drink off the menu, you'll pay at least that much, but I always like extra gravy and an extra biscuit, so the buffet is the way to go. read more
