My partner and I had a great visit to this place. For a Monday night, it was packed. We didn't wait long for a table though, and our server was promptly there to take drink orders. Between the two of us, we had an order of mozzarella sticks, 20 wings (half medium, half honey barbecue), and a basket of curly fries. Everything was good. The mozzarella sticks were nothing special, but hit the spot as we were super hungry. The wings were fantastic. My partner had never been to a roosters before and was shocked by how large they were. And lastly, he loved the fries and said they were some of the best fries he's eaten in a while. All that food put us back about $50, which is standard anymore for wings. For the quality though, it was worth it. We will definitely be adding this location to our dinner rotation. read more

Got 20 buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks and pretzels to go. The wings had no sauce on them even though I ordered the "shaken". They were also very soggy when I ordered the well done. 0/10 couldn't finish them. The ends of the pretzels were soggy like they were dipped in water. 2/10 ripped off the ends and ate what was left. 26 July 2024 date of visit. We had been out all day visiting family. My wife wanted to get something from her local Frisch's (Big Boy). I wasn't particularly interested in burger/fries. This place Rooster's was right by our motel, Wilmington Inn [a mess, don't go there until they fully change everything about the place]. So I thought I would give it a try. I called in an order to have things happening while we were traveling back from the first stop. That didn't quite work out exactly like I planned. They did get the order turned around in about 20 minutes. To be fair they were busy (a Friday night). I went over to pick up. The hostesses were pleasant, if a bit dismissive. The order wasn't ready so they really didn't have any guidance for me, so I just went over to the bar and watched TV. They seem to be part sports bar and part sit down restaurant. There is a lot of din and hubbub, it is very casual, and very "local". After about 10 minutes, I got my order. Went back to motel room and dived in. I got 10 wings with Sweet Thai Chili sauce. They were quite good, well cooked, the sauce was great, just spicy enough. I would certainly repeat that order if I was ever at a Rooster's again. read more

Typical bar food but a safe bet if you're in Wilmington Ohio. Stopped here because there's not much else in the area. Food was good and what we were expecting. Got the buffalo cauliflower which was great, not dry but not soggy. Got a Cesar salad and a chicken salad both were great and had very large portions. Left us full but not feeling like we had eaten junk food. Dressings we're good and so we're wing sauces. read more

Wings would have been good had they had my sauce on them like I asked the medium it wasn't enough sauce to put on a MacBook. And the curly fries with cheese they use fake cheese and microwaved it which makes curly fries tough as hell. BW3 doesn't have anything to worry about I'll never go back again read more

If you are ever in the middle of no where Wilmington oh. The wings are jumbo juicy. But apparently they save money on seasoning/sauces. I got the Nashville hot dry rub. Trying to avoid the high fructose corn syrup in most BBQ sauce. It was more dry than rub though. Quarter of the wings had no seasoning. Took a long time so I'm pretty sure the wings are cooked per order. That's a bonus. Just wish they would have told me the dry rub was low. read more

One of the best Roosters I have been to...and I've eaten at several locations. The wait staff is good and the food is prepared hot and fast.

Waitresses are scrambling to wait tables. Then clear them. The manager walks around doing nothing to help. Feel so sorry for staff when management won't step up. We have waited for 25 minutes for tables to be cleared so we can be seated. We have plenty of local restaurants where managers always pitch in. Not this one. read more

Food was unimpressive and bland. Service was lacking - it felt like the server wanted to be absolutely anywhere else, even if it was testing the tetanus level of rusty nails. Roosters in Wilmington Ohio has decent food, and TERRIBLE music. Normally you can just tune out the distasteful selection but NOT HERE! They play the worst mix of music, at a volume so loud a deaf person could know what it is by vibrations alone. Milford location is where I'll be going from now on. Maybe even worth the trip to Washington Court House because as far as I'm concerned, the Wilmington location may as well not even be here. It's dimly lit, and did not feel the cleanest either. First time at this location. Took almost 10 minutes to get a menu from someone. Finally ordered our food. Expected soup and salad first. Girl didn't come near our table to flag her down for it. It came out with the food. The white chicken chili was okay but had huge chunks of peppers in it. Looked like they didn't cut them up good. Bitter to bite into. I ordered the cajun grilled chicken. The first pieces came out burnt on the bottom. I didn't know until I took a bite. They were very burnt. Sent them back and got them fixed right the second time. It took 30 minutes to get food from the time we ordered. Very slow and the server not as attentive. I had hoped for better service with a new restaurant in place of Damon's but it's still the crappy, slow service and no attention to the quality of the food. Very disappointed. Whenever I eat in the experience is great. Everyone is friendly and if something is wrong with the meal then it gets fixed quickly. HOWEVER, out of the last 8 or so times I've ordered carry out, only 1 time has my order been right. And that one time was last week and I went through my order with the girl 7 times (I'm not being dramatic). Tonight I got home and once again multiple things were wrong with my food and the girl who brought my food out was rude. Listen I understand how it is to work in food; in fact I've served at Roosters in the past. But the inconsistency with this group of hostesses is annoying. The last thing I want to do after getting home from 10+ hr long shifts is to drive back to a restaurant because they messed up my order again. read more

Went there tonight. Stood to be seated for about 10 mins with nobody around. Another person came in after is, when the host finally came she waited on the other person first. When we did get seated in a both we seat for 17 mins with no server at all coming to our table to ask us anything. 2 more parties was seated after us and served drinks and still no one came to us.
