So much so that I'm still sitting here to write a Yelp review that likely not a soul will read. I came in during a weekday lunch, typical small line of people. The staff were pretty efficient about getting us all through. The first young guy that started my sandwich was abnormally friendly (in a good way). He interacted with every customer and smiled, greeted us all even though it was busy, and paid attention to everyone's requests. He was also kinda cute, for those interested. I noticed that someone in an earlier review commented meanly about staff members having tattoos, which may have been referring to him (really, stop being so judgmental) or others, but I saw that everyone looked perfectly professional. The next lady, slightly older, was a fantastic multi-tasker. In addition to being equally friendly to each customer, she was juggling managing some repair staff there to fix the restaurant and still making sure she gave proper attention to each of the orders and thanked each person. And while I was eating, she came by later and offered to take everyone's rubbish in the dining room when they were finished eating. At a Subway? Never seen that before in this life. Last was a nice younger lady with black hair in a ponytail. She was handling payment and extras like cookies. Was super friendly, engaged in conversation, and made really good recommendations for alternatives when they were out of something. Made the end of the line (which is usually very transactional) very personable. I'm still shocked, often at the local corner Subway I barely get 10 words in the whole visit. Maybe people are just nicer here, but I'm impressed regardless.

After a fairly long wait at the drive through, the man who took our order was very rude, condescending, and hostile. I tried to ask him a question after giving my order, and he interrupted me to give me a lecture about how I was doing it all wrong (apparently, he thought I was trying to rush on to another order...I wasn't). So after giving him the drink order he apparently thought I was trying to rush past, I then asked if we could get curly fries. My daughter wanted me to ask and I couldn't imagine what the harm would be. A simple 'no' would have sufficed...but I got another condescending lecture that ended with 'we are NOT an Arby's.' I asked him is he was really angry but he didn't hear and just kept talking over me This man sounded hostile enough that my daughter was legit quite anxious and uncomfortable as we waited to get the order.
