Might be just okay if they would deliver what you order. Last 2 times they didn't deliver my whole order. What they did deliver was not so good the biscuit was so bad you could use it as a hockey puck... and when I called to tell them the first person I spoke with was nice. But because I told her I was disabled and couldn't come to get it she put the manager on the phone. He. Was so rude and said he put the chicken in the box himself . We went through the drive through when they first opened and the girl on the speaker kindly explained that not everything was ready to go and her computer was slow to start up. We went through the drive thru, ordered and paid. They asked us to move up to wait on our food and forgot about us for 35 minutes. We went BACK to the drive thru window and they we really nasty about the whole situation and never apologized. I honestly don't know how they are still open with this kind if service. The food was hot. They made crispy chicken fresh for our order. The did forget our plates and silverware. They also forgot a full bucket meal. Floor is sticky. You can hear your shoes actually sticking to the floor. Almost every table and bench is covered in crumbs. Haven't been here in many years. Hasn't changed much. Still dirty. At least this time the staff seemed competent as far as taking my order and getting me my food fairly quick. I wanted to try kfc's version of the spicy chicken sandwich. Decent size decent price. ($4.75) Decent taste. It's not nearly as good as Popeyes or Chik Fil A's sammitch. I think Popeyes is the best and it's the biggest. KFC is in between in size. Mass confusion. Used the web site to order and pick up. When we arrived we parked and when know one answered we went inside and were told no curbside. Go get in the drive thru line to get our order. WHAT. Could have just waited in the drive thru line in the first place. I get it, probably short handed, but a little info up front during the order would have solved a lot of issues. When I called the store the person on the other end didn't identify themselves and was argumentative stating "we been making chicken all night it can't be overcooked " took all items back to the store to show them the condition of the food and they were still argumentativ. fransised or corporate store come Monday I'll be on the phone reporting this location to corporate office and health department. Normally wouldn't review a fast food restaurant, but this place is so bad that I had to provide a warning for others. Seeing the other reviews, surprising whoever runs this place hasn't fired everyone. Two weeks ago my son and I went by around 8:15PM on a Saturday, just wanting something quick after being out all day. At the drive through, was told they were out of chicken. Asked how long it would be before another batch was made, and the person said they weren't going to make any more, it was getting late. Two weeks later on a Saturday, we were home after a baseball tournament and my son said he just wanted something simple. I suggested KFC and he laughed and said "think they'll have chicken this time?" As it was only 7PM, I said I couldn't see them being out. Guess what? They were out. Bad all-around. I'm new-ish to the area, and KFC has always been a favorite for me. I've given the LO location 4 TRIES, always ordering the same thing - original recipe, 3 pc "fill up." It includes the chicken, mashed and gravy, a biscuit, and a drink. Invariably, I get extra crispy (not original), and it's both overcooked and cold and dried out. I tried once more last week, and I will grant that it was one the stormy days, and you know you have to cut some slack for that. But my order was ridiculously messed up, and it was the final shot. I won't go there/order from there again. The chicken was, once again, was not the original recipe I ordered, and it was cold, dried out and inedible. I got no drink, even tho it was included. To top it all off, I found a long black hair in the chicken (I'm a redhead). I pitched the whole order at that point. I called the KFC to see if they'd send me a replacement (it was a doordash delivery), and although the woman was nice, the answer was NOPE, SORRY. She said she'd give the message to the manager who, of course, was not there. I never got a call back. I know losing one customer doesn't matter to them, but I'm still not going there again. read more

I gave a rating of "1 star" because there is nothing lower. This restaurant has been in Lake Orion since early 1970's and has been under several different managements. Yet they still can't get it right. The last four times I have made an order from this KFC, it has been wrong. They always get the order wrong, even when I repeat the order two or three times., and they repeat it back to me. Take for instance tonight. I ordered two #15, which consist of one chicken breast and two sides. At least that is what I was told at the speaker. From past visits, I make it a point to ask if everything is in the bag when they hand it to me. So this evening, I ask if the honey for the biscuit was in the bag, "yes", then I ask if the straws were in the bag, "yes". I even confirmed with the person handing the food through the window, the chicken was right, "Yes". When I got home, the only thing right in the order were the two sides. The chicken pieces were thighs, (Yuck), there were no straws, no honey, and one order didn't even have a biscuit. One other point to make, the person taking the order on the speaker was almost inaudible. (and that is not the first time for that) So, everybody knows the definition to insanity, so from this point on, I will never return to this facility. I made a HUGE mistake walking in the door! I placed an order for a 3 piece white meat (Extra crispy) meal with a side order of cole slaw. Waited while 2 other orders in front of me were processed. While I sat there, (I sat down as there were taking WAAAY too long in the first place) I heard these two girls going back and forth trying to figure out the confusion in the 2 orders in front of me. One was a 20 piece meal and the other was a 10 piece meal. The undereducated woman was actually looking RIGHT AT THE LCD MONITOR, and calling out the order for an 8 piece meal, and had to be corrected that the EIGHT WAS ACTUALLY A TEN!!!! COME ON HERE PEOPLE, that's incredibly basic stuff, learned back in what, FIRST GRADE??? Only after these people, and I use the term loosely, had figured out what the difference between an EIGHT AND A TEN was,...I was actually asked, (finally) what order I was waiting for. Like it wasn't actually on their board of orders? Can't believe how rude their workers are. In the past their drive thru has taken an unacceptable amount of time so today I went inside. They kept me waiting in line for 10 minutes before even asking my order, to turn around and say it would be another 10 before my food is ready. There was only two other customers in the whole place. I can see by some of the responses, those people have never worked fast food. It's a shame the judgement that has been passed. Bearing in mind that this is in fact food and not a 4 or 5 star restaurant, the food is usually pretty good. I like the pizza better than anything, although often their breadsticks taste and look like they've been proofed twice. The staff has always been friendly and 95% of the time will give us extra food if there is a wait, even after telling us about the wait for fresh food. This place doesn't know how to follow a simple order. We went there once and they forgot a side and the manager called us liars when we called to complain. We go there again they forget two drinks, give us the wrong order, and hangs up on us when we call. This place isn't worth the money you pay and is below average food. I definitely won't be going there again any time soon. This place needs to do everyone a favor and close. They are never busy and it's for a good reason. This place has incompetent workers that are illiterate. This place compares to a dump with the quality of food and quality of service you get. I come to this location pretty often since it's so close to my house and I've never really had problems before. We waited 6 minutes in the drive through for our food to be cooked, no big deal, but we ended up getting a totally different order. When I went inside to tell them the girl who took my order said "omg they seriously came back?!?" Yes I came back, because you gave me the wrong food and drinks. So much attitude. They didn't even give us new food, they took back the food and pretty much put it in a new bag. My mashed potatoes had been sitting out for hours, they tasted terrible and the chicken was burnt beyond eating. The manager "Marie" if that is even her real name, was so rude and disrespectful to me that I signed up just to post. I come here often and usually have a good experience unless this one woman is working the drive through. She is always rude and obnoxious when SHE is the one who doesn't have the food I ordered. I don't mind waiting for fresh chicken. But what I do mind is being treated like a child by rude staff. When I asked to speak to a manager about the way she insulted me she replied that she WAS the manager.
