This has to be the worst Taco Bell I have ever experienced. Every food item ordered was soggy. The crunch wrap was not crunchy, but almost like it was made earlier in the day. There's no way a crunchy tostada could get that soggy within 3 minutes. the Mexican Pizza was crushed in the bottom of the bag. All 3 tacos were broken like it was intentional. This is probably why places shouldn't employ all teenagers to run the business with no adult supervision. There is absolutely no adherence to any kind of standard at this location. This is a pretty good Taco Bell. I've stopped here from time to time over the years. Today, the service was friendly and quick. I came during rush hour traffic close to dinner time and was able to get in and out in a matter of minutes. The order was also correct, always a bonus. The food was made well. How bad could you mess up here? It's Taco Bell, either you are a fan of the food, or you aren't. I had the Mexican pizza, classic and crispy, something to try if you've never ordered it. A cheesy Gordita crunch, like a double decker taco minus the beans, a house favorite. Plus the frito burrito from the value menu, really good, hope it stays on the menu long term. I don't often eat in the dining room at this location. This was a carry out. The only complaint I would have it that they didn't include any napkins, and this food could get fairly messy. We ordered from this Taco Bell through Grub Hub, so a portion of our dissatisfaction is attributed to the driver. But, most of the fault lies with this location. First, a drink was missing of 3 ordered. We had 3 combos...the tip off should be that every combo comes with a drink. Second, my Mexican Pizza was smashed because they put it on the bottom of the bag, under tacos, a burrito and multiple Gorditas. Third, the food was really cold. That is a grub Hub issue and not really attributed to Taco Bell. We have had one correct order in the last two years, out of about 10 orders. We can't wait for the new TB location to open in LO. The food is standard taco bell, you know (or should know) what to expect. My issue with this Taco Bell is the horrible, horrible wait times. Twice now, I've sat in the line for 25 minutes which in my opinion, defeats the whole idea of "fast food". Unfortunately, I wrote most of my review in my "tip" section while we were TRYING to order food. If you do not have a lot of time, try somewhere else because there is NO WAY to every get through this place in reasonable time. Our last trip took way too long because they could not figure out a gift card that we got as a gift.... so, we had to reorder our food numerous times. The only saving grace was after 5 times or so, our food was just given to us- FREE. As it should have been for having to wait so long! We were pulled into this place to try their new spicy grillers.... which were sadly nothing special. I really wanted to like them.... but they were not even spicy. Eh. All the rest of the food is average- they do not over do or under do it. Food is typical Taco Bell quality however, this is the slowest most poorly managed Taco Bell I've been to. During a typical lunch weekday, they will have at most, 3 people preparing food. It takes a very long time to process orders. The store is very understaffed and slow as a result. In the few times I tried breakfast there, it was very difficult to know if they're open. There are no lights on implying they're open. The street sign is dark and one time, there seemed to be people working at 7:30 am however, after sitting at the drive thru order sign for a couple of minutes. . . . no one made a peep. With a sure fire brand like Taco Bell, it's disappointing to see it run so poorly. It is very unlikely that I'll try this Taco Bell again unless I'm desperate and there is NO ONE in front of me. If you're in a hurry, or have less than 20+ to wait for a couple of tacos, keep heading down the road. Speaking of down the road.... There is a McDonald's about 1000 feet away from Taco Bell, and the difference in how each restaurant run (efficiency, speed, consistency) is as stark as could be. . Also, the people working at McDonald's are shockingly courteous (in a good way). . Today I ordered 2 spicy crispy chicken sandwich tacos and I have to say as usual with the Taco Bell located on m24 near down town lake Orion that I'm beyond disappointed. The lack of effort they put into their food is absolutely insane! With the sandwich tacos it's supposed to come with jalapeños and their spicy chipotle sauce. Everyone working there needs to be fired immediately and they need new management because this is frankly sad how trash their food is. Easy for me to say I'm never going back to this trash hole I extremely hope they get management for example like the ones in Saginaw by the SVSU campus which I was there this weekend And they're absolutely amazing the food there is absolutely What every Taco Bell should strive for. The Lake Orion Taco Bell is quite possibly the worst restaurant in the State. They have about 7 basic ingredients simply packaged in different shells yet they still can't get the most basic order right. It takes 20 minutes or more to get through the drive thru no matter the time of day/night. They package the food so poorly that the wrappers are often disintegrating making it impossible to open and eat the "food" without using a fork.
