Slowest drive-thru ever. The kid at the window told me there had only been 2 employees on all day and that his manager "supposedly called in sick" (his words). Besides convenience, this KFC is awful. I hardly walk in, so I have no comment regarding treatment of customers from that vantage point, but things are taken care of on the outside. The wait through the drive through is astronomical. They rarely, if ever get my order right. I had the worst experience I have ever had at any fast food restaurant. Between the time I paid and was told my food would take 3 minutes they lost my order and I was left to sit for 15 minutes. When I was finally able to get someone they had no information about my order. I was never even apologized to abd by the time the food got to me it was cold. Where to begin, I tried this place out first about 2-3 Months ago. That time not only were the biscuits they gave me dry and hard, the potato wedges were old and tough as bricks. I knew they had been hiring/bringing on more staff from all the signs so I decided to try them again and I was WRONG to do so. I got there and there was only one car ahead of me in the drive-through. The waiting time to just get to the window? 15 minutes. When I got to the window the employee tried handing me things I hadn't ordered. She gave me a confused look and asked me what I had ordered. When I told her she found it, laughed and took my payment. At that point her manager/whoever came up saying another person who had been waiting in the drive through/now waiting on the side of the business didn't want to wait anymore and wanted a refund. This person had apparently waited over 20 minutes. After they gave me my recipt the lady told me "It will be a few minutes on your order" and closed the window. After another 5-10 Minute wait she handed me my bag, thanked me and I left the window. However with how confused they seemed I decided to check on my food before I left the parking lot. Sure enough, the fry I ordered? Half filled, and the two biscuits I had been charged for? Not to been seen AT ALL. Parking and going on about 30 minutes for a fast meal now I went back inside. I waited as they finished another persons order and then had to stand at the counter for another 7 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. At that time the manager I assume and a trainee were working on filling orders. They quickly got one together and called the customer to the counter and said to him. "Sorry we don't have biscuits today, anything else I can get you?". So apparently they ran out/didn't have any yet let me order them, pay for them, all without a word. As soon as he was done they turned to me and I pointed out the charge, the fact I didn't have my food correctly. They offered me something in comparison, since I barely had any french fries I told them a few more would be good. So the manager then told me "Let me see if I have any" How can a restaurant barely have any food? She said they had them and brought her trainee over. She filled the french fry paper up and threw it in the bag that the trainee was holding. At that point the trainee dropped the bag ON THE GROUND! quickly they picked it while laughing and talking with the manager and set it on the counter. The manager looked at me told me to "Have a nice day" I was in shock and left. Who drops a bag of someones food on the ground and just gives it ot the customer? When it happened right there in their view? I was disgusted. Going home I looked at the rest of my food, on the burger I ordered somehow the meat was warm and bun was cold. The french fries from the original order? Half were hard as crisps, and the others were soggy and dis-colored. I didn't eat the ones they dropped on the floor but did look at them. All of them were hard, burnt and looked like they had been sitting out in a warming tray for hours. Something must be happening around this area of 1st and Wadsworth b/c this is the third food joint in this area where I have ordered food and it has been horrible and horribly over priced. HORRIBLE! Today's incident involves KFC. I spent $20 buks for three individual meals, original recipe chicken strips and legs and thighs, and a kids pack. Upon returning home and saying Grace, we opened our idividual sides of what should have been mashed potatoes, instead, all of our meals contained "potatoe juice", liquid mashed potatoes. The cook must've had a wicked bad day b/c the chicken had NO flavor, none of Colonel Sanders secret herbs and spices were nowhere to be tasted, not even salt. I wish the food industry would give a crap about the people they hire and stop paying crap-wages. Maybe then I could actually go to a food establishment and actually eat good food that won't break the bank. read more

I went at 11:15 a.m. Doors to Lobby were still locked. Two staff inside, did not acknowledge me. I went to drive through. I asked if they were open and was told "Yeah, we just unlocked the door when we saw you." Hmmm. . . really? Then he laughed a bit and said the employees kept locking themselves out. I asked if they were still doing Chicken Fried Steaks. I was told only on Wednesdays. I said "It is Wednesday.", "Oh, yeah then, we have it." (not a good start). I asked if I could substitute green beans for coleslaw. "No, we don't have those here" (they did last time I was there, and it's on the menu). So then I asked for Cinnabon Biscuits (that they have advertised on the menu board). "We don't have those. Headquarters hadn't sent us any." I stated that maybe they should update their menu and was told that "Headquarters hasn't been sending them stuff lately." I ordered a mini ice cream blended shake. He hands it to me wrapped with a wadded up napkin. I asked if I could get a lid and he said "No we don't have those, that's why its a mini" (I'm not sure of the logic behind that statement). Anyway,I returned to my office with lunch. My office is three minutes away. The chicken fried steak was tepid. The gravy was still refrigerator cold. Not the best experience. read more

ALL of the times I've came here I've had to wait 20minutes or longer for my food! One time my boyfriend and I spent a whole hour trying to figure out our food! We stayed and waited for our order to be taken at the drive thru for a while, we had to ask if anyone was there! Then they finally took our order and we pulled to the window just to be told that it'll be a 15-20min wait. That didn't bother us we weren't in a rush, until we waited for 30mins, and I can see employee's going in and out of the store to go smoke or socialize with people outside of the building. When we finally got our food we went home and we were missing a big part of our order, we had to go all the way back and wait another 20mins for our food it was ridiculous! Granted they offered us a couple of things for free for the inconvenience, but my boyfriend and I didn't want anything from them anymore and we're both done going here even if the food is good! I went thru the drive thru at this location and ordered 4 meals.... one meal for each person in my vehicle... not only didn't I have to repeat literally everything 5 times (even after saying each item one by one very slow) the order was still completely messed up when we got it. The worst part tho, was when I was ordering the fourth meal, the guy attempting to take the order laughed and said "Wow you are hungry aren't you!" Excuse me?!?!?! If it wouldn't have been for the fact that we were leaving Lakewood traveling four and a half hours to get home and we just wanted to get our dinner and get on the road; I would have told this guy where he could shove that food! Ordered two meals to go. First meal was a four piece wing meal with coleslaw. Specifically asked if wings were fresh. We were told yes the wings had just come out of the fryer . Second meal was a chili cheese dog with fries. Waited twenty minutes. Nothing. Asked where our meals were. Cashier looked for our ticket and found it on the floor. She then told my wife that she would start our order after she helped the next customer in line! !! We waited another twelve minutes before we received our food. We talked with the manager and she explained that they were training.new staff. She offered us a free piece of cake for our trouble! We said no thanks and left. Drove home to eat our meals. My wife's meal was not a four piece wing meal, it was a four piece meal which only included one wing. My coney cheese dog was ok, but my french fries were cold and stale. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I've given this restaurant MANY tries to get it right. The numerous mishaps at this restaurant seems to have started about the time A&W moved in. They were extremely slow, no excitement found in the employees, got orders incorrect. It's always something. We don't go often because of this, it's been going on for a couple of years. But, they're only a few blocks away, so we bring the mishaps on ourselves. I went through the drive-thru this evening. Hubby likes their Colonel sandwich. I thought I would give the Chicken Littles a try. I was informed by the order taker that the Chicken Littles come only one when ordering "ala carte", but if you purchase the meal, you get two. Now, I would think that if you only order the sandwich, wouldn't you NEED two since you're not getting anything else with them? Ok, no big deal. I get home and find out that hubby's Colonel sandwich isn't a Colonel - it's two Littles on one bun. About 2/3 the amount of chicken that comes on the Colonel. The order-taker didn't inform me that they were out of Colonel chicken, just went along like nothing was different and charged me the price of the Colonel. Again, It's always something. I'm sure it MUST be management, or lack of. The next closest KFC is a mile and a half away, but may be very worth the drive. read more

This place has really gone downhill in the last several months. From a decent, well-mannered staff of employees to now a group of about the lowest level of fast food worker you could find anywhere. Uncaring, unconcerned, not knowledgeable about daily specials, managers (???) that sit down and feed themselves while listening to employees that don't know their own menu crudely deal with customers - from now on I'll go to Boston Market -where for a dollar or two more, you can enjoy yourself and your food in a pleasant, competent atmosphere, rather than among the bottom of the barrel that are staffing this place on many nights....although there does seem to be at least one or two competent workers among the dredge here on many occasions.... read more

I ordered a cheese burger it was way over cooked and on a very dry bun, of the fast food restaurants it is the worst cheeseburger around.

Arrived on 12 March at 1:35 PM. Was going to order their Nashville hot chicken. I needed at least 24 pieces and knew that It would probably take a while. They never asked how many pieces I wanted all they told me was if you want the Nashville hot I would have to wait 20+ minutes. I chose not to stay. And I don't think I would ever return. I know how long it takes for KFC to produces a batch of chicken in there pressure fryers. By the way the restaurant was not busy at that time a day. They spend all this money to advertise that product on television it seems like the management is not behind a promotion. First of all they for some stupid reason don't do two separate orders in the drive through. I went to this location at 7pm on a Tuesday night one car in the drive through I ordered three of their meal boxes with a couple of extra sides. To many times have I gone through a drive through and have had missing food so I pulled over to the front of the building where I found one of my entire meals was missing, three of their employees were outside smoking when I got inside I stood there for 10 minutes with the manager and another employee in the office in plain view of me with no service. Not only till another customer yelled to the back saying they had someone waiting. The girl came over and I explained to her I just went through the drive through and I'm missing a whole meal box with attitude she asked me for my receipt and the proceeded to fill my order. Then she tells me their out of biscuits and asked if I'd like another side or another cookie I told her I had already paid for my extra side. Insane to me that every box they sell includes a biscuit but they had none made and it was only 7pm. While 3 employees are outside smoking. really disappointed. Worst service I have ever had. First we go through the drive through that says is up open sit at the voice box for 5 minutes with no response. We then pull up to the window and the guy in side has the head set around his neck so that he can not even hear the people on the other end. We sat at the window for another 5 minutes before he finally decided to tell us they are having difficulty with the drive through so we had to go inside. Not hard to put a sign up. We get in side and proceed to order. I ordered a 2 piece combo and he rings in a $5 dollar fill up. My boyfriend ordered a blizzard and he forgot to make it until we reminded him. He then proceeded to make the wrong size blizzard and said to please forgive him it was his 2nd one he has ever made. We get home and I open my food and find 3 overly cooked super small chicken tenders. He messed up our order 4 times! Would go back and have them remake it but it probably wouldn't be any better and already waisted 30 minutes for a simple order and they were not busy. read more

This place is so bad!!! If I can give a zero star I would. KFC needs to let all the existence employees go otherwise they will be out of business pretty soon. The staffs are so rude, the service was so bad that a wait time to order from the drive-thru is about 4 minutes when ready to order ( don't really know why they're taking so long to get order when there is one car already order in front of me. I ordered a K5 ($5- 2 pieces chicken fill up options with drinks) which the employee told is cost me $5.38. Once I got the windows to pay and get my order, the employee told me is $8 and some chains, I told him I have ordered a K5 which supposed to be $5.38 (including taxes). He said " you ordered a K10 which I don't even know what that is. He started to argue and slammed the cash register and kicking some boxes on the floor. I just don't understand why can he just canceled the K10 and re-enter the order for K5 but just to have "piss off" attitude. They were other employees too but they are seem to be on his side which they don't care much about customers service. I was going to cancel my order but it was kind of getting in your face type of thing so I didn't want to push it. Anyway, all of them employees there need to have a drug test because they seem to be in zone of don't care. Came through drive thru bcuz lobby was closed to due leaking roof my husband ordered wings n they said it will take 10 min to make which was fine.wealso ordered a k12 meal n a A8 . We parked in front bcuz we were told they would bring it out to us when it was done. In the time we waited one male employee came out the service door and slammed it and walked away. Our order was placed @3:15 we got our order @4:11 bcuz apparently they gave our order away on accident. When we asked for our money back they told us we couldn't get a refund bcuz the Mgr wasn't there we were already highly irritated for the wait n the fact our food was given away but now we were told we can't have our money back n our food was gonna take another 5 min after waiting a hour. So the lady at the drive thru got snippy with us when we went back thru the drive thru n stated she was the one who gave our food away n apologized n asked us if we wanted a whole cake my husband said yes she gave us that and my daughter an apple sauce which was appreciated but this whole experience was terrible and the worst by far at KFC. Do not ever go here! I went there 2 times and both times I had a bad experience. The first time I went there I was told that I needed to wait for fresh fries to be cooked. I was OK with that so I waited about 15 minutes and I waited for nothing. I still got cold old fries. The second time I went I decided to get the fried chicken, well they didn't have any. They told me it would be 20 minutes before there would be any fresh chicken. So I decided to get their chicken strips. That was a bad idea, they seriously were hard and tasted that they have been sitting there since yesterday. Their soda was like soda water and it seemed they were too lazy to change their soda machine. My boyfriend got a burger from there as well and he got 2 bites into his burger and bit into frozen uncooked hamburger. We couldn't finish our food and threw their nasty food away.
