I have been searching all over the Denver area for a quality Bone In Chicken Wing. Had not found a Wing place that could compare to my favorite Wing place Papa Bees in Orlando,Fl. My search is over after trying CD Wings im Westminster,Co. I ordered 2 flavors 1) Notorious BRG and 2) Hot Garlic. 3 things I look for in a great Chicken Wing 1) Wing that is crisp even when sauced. 2) Meat is tender and comes off the bone without effort 3) Fantastic sauce. Both Sauces had amazing flavor. You can tell the love that CD Wings put in their Wings. The fact that it takes 20-25 minutes to cook shows these are fresh Wings and no shortcuts are being taken. Hats off to the best Wings in Colorado. My new go-to for Wings. Also want to say the service was awesome and friendly. The lady at the register Mikey was extremely accommodating and patient. My man and I were having a hankering for some wings and we got on YouTube and started watching Sam Newman's YouTube channel. He reviewed several places this week in Denver. That brought us to CDs wings in Westminster. It's a unpretentious place when you walk in with flames climb in the walls and simple menus. I love that they have fried mushrooms and had to get an order. They were very good, but I wouldn't say they were the best I had. I also saw that they had a 20 piece meal deal with two sodas and a side. It also included the celery and carrots. It also came with two sauces. So I thought we'd get that. But I didn't notice that was boneless wings and I really wanted bone in wings. I was expecting the boneless wings to be breaded more than they were but they have a good breading to chicken ratio. We tried the Spicy Samurai and the Notorious BRG, buffalo ranch garlic, sauces. I thought both were very good. The waffle fries are also really nice. They're very crispy on the outside tender on the inside. You get plenty of carrots and celery with your order and you get your choice of ranch or blue cheese. Please note that the blue cheese has real chunks of blue cheese in it. But I was disappointed that I did not order actual wings so I went back for an order of wings and Toby totally understood that I had made an error so they put in my wings for a rushed delivery. Wings here take 20 minutes to cook because every order is dropped to order. That's what makes the outside so nice and crispy in the inside so tender and juicy. They are all perfectly cooked. The crisp on the outside clings to the sauce so every wing is sauce beautifully and the inside is so juicy that the flavor just permeates throughout. I'm so glad I went back for the wings. Their wings are coked to an art. Mary is a doll. She came and checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we got everything the way we wanted it and found out what our favorite sauce was. The sauce on the wings that we had was the Spicy Teriyaki, but I would say for me the Spicy Samurai is the way to go all day, even though I loved all of the sauces. If you're ever in doubt as to which sauce to choose, you can always ask for a sample. I asked for a sample of the mango habanero and they gave me a taste of the sauce with a couple of carrots so I know whether or not I wanted to have that sauce with my order. Oh, and for those of you who like other diet soda options, they do have diet Mountain Dew, which I found was a nice touch. Look them up... their anniversary is coming up this month! read more

Ordered food online. 30 minute wait period promised. Showed up 30 minutes later. Food was not ready. 12 minutes later, lead cashier stated that the food was not ready and that they were sorry, that the food would only be 2-3 minutes away. 15 minutes after the revised promised time, the food was still not prepared and not close to completion. Asked the manager for a refund. He was rude and offered no apologies, made no attempt to correct the issue with his team, nor did he do anything to provide me with compensation for my wasted time. Delicious wings! So delicious in fact, that we went back in the same week after trying it for the first time and we had a second great experience. What makes them stand out is the consistent crispiness on the outside and juicy meat on the inside. The sauces have great flavor too - we went with medium and lemon pepper. For a side, we had the waffle fries and just like other reviews pointed out, the fries are perfectly cooked. Downside is you don't get that many fries in a small. The service is a bit on the slower side, but it's because everything's fresh, so plan on at least a 20 min wait for your order. The staff are very friendly and quick in taking your order though! Very impressed by the customizability of everything! From the sauce, to all flats, drums, or mixed, to the sauce level- you can really get your wings prepped just the way you like them. The cashier was very patient as my husband and I talked over every option. The interior is very fast food adjacent designed, but it works for the vibe. We did the mango habanero and the RGB, ranch garlic buffalo sauce, both were excellent. I like the medium- enough heat that it didn't burn off the rest of the flavor. I was last here in Westminster in April. I noticed their prices have increased. I had enrolled on their rewards program several years ago. I got an email that I had a $15 birthday reward. I came on a Tuesday afternoon. I was only the 2nd party eating inside, though I saw a several people on the on the patio. Diego H took my order. Their soft drinks fountain machine was not working, so no ice for my unsweetened tea. They do serve draft beers. I got 5 wings with Spicy BBQ & 5 wings with Spicy Samurai. Plenty of sauce was served. I added a side salad with Ken's Lite Italian dressing and a small order of waffle fries. They took the customary 20 minutes to freshly prepare my food. The wings and fries were hot. You order at the counter, get a number and sit at an open table - if you can find one. We did wait quite a while for our food but it came out hot. We got 10 mild bone in wings and 5 boneless wings with teriyaki sauce. The mild was just the right spice and the teriyaki were a bit salty for me so, I wouldn't recommend them. Love CD's! This is some dependable food. I always enjoy my wings bone in, and the chipotle ranch rub has to be my favorite. So flavorful that it feels like the wing should be a sin! The ambience is a comfortable one. I've met some crazy folks who go all out on the spice! This is pretty much my "go to" for wings in the northwest metro area. They have a great (extensive, flavorful, many heat levels) selection of sauces. The prices are normal for chicken wings. They have a nice choice of sides. It used to get rather crowded, but since they took over the space next door it has been much better. The tap list is not bad at all, although sometimes they run out of things. I appreciate the Colorado craft beer offerings. This place has been on my radar for awhile and since I was going to have lunch with my son and we both love good wings it was destiny. The place was busy and I think to speed things along they could have had more than one person taking orders. The place itself was kind of clean as far as the floors and counters. The tables weren't being cleaned and with so few tables open we had to clean our own. I understand that they are busy but cleanliness is important to most diners In spite of all of that these wings are awesome . The wings are meaty, cooked correctly with just the right amount of sauce. I ordered medium heat buffalo wings and they were good but next time I would order the hot wings. My son who eats wings more often than I do loved them. Wings are too pricey everywhere so I won't be too critical about that. The wings are king and the sauce is the boss. I have said it before to my friends but tacos and wings are two foods that I could eat pretty much whenever. So, I am lucky and privileged that I live close enough to the BEST wing place that I have ever been to. If you have never eaten at CD's before (I'm guessing you haven't since you are reading this review) you should know that this is the wing place for people that want a perfect set of chicken wings unlike ones they have ever had before. My biggest complaint with a lot of wing places is that for every crispy wing I eat, I get like 4 more that are just...soggy. At CD's, I ask for my wings extra crispy and this is never a problem. Every wing has that crisp bite that I am looking for. This isn't some hidden hack with CD's either. They tell you that they will put extra sauce or add cook times, you just need to ask. Listen, they have a sauce on their menu and it's called Hot Garlic. Even just thinking about the name of the sauce and writing it right now has made my mouth water. It is the most perfect wing sauce that anyone could want. I also really like the mango habanero, spicy samurai, x-hot, buffalo bee, bbq, notorious BRG, and lemon pepper...garlic Parmesan is good too. Honestly, every sauce is worth a try and I can let you know that I have tried them all. I did eat like 7 of the No 1 Left Standing wings before and I almost died the next day but I think you should do that too if you are a fan of hot sauce like I am. Waffles fries are a good side and you can get them tossed in Cajun seasoning as a pro tip.
