I went through the drive thru and was going to order, well, chicken (shocking, I know). Here's how it went... Me: "Tell me about the eight pieces of chicken for ten dollars." Lady in the speaker: "If you want chicken it's going to be at least a half an hour." Me: "Well, it's KFC, what else would I want?" Ordered online and didn't receive our entire order. Called KFC and manager said Door Dash was given everything so contact Door Dash. Door Dash driver says it's KFC's fault and please don't call Door Dash. Door Dash said since the order was placed online it's not their fault. The driver lied about delivering drinks (which we did not order) and said the order said to drop and go. It did not say that. It's frustrating that nobody took any responsibility for this at all and just pointed at someone else. The driver knew she didn't have everything and it's why she dropped and dashed. I had an awful experience several months ago due to the filthy restaurant tried to do a take out order don't sure what I was thinking firstly my daughter got their chicken sandwich which was totally disgusting shaped like fish no breading and dry do not sure what that was my order was 8 piece meal when I got home there was only 6 Pierce's I literally called 60 times with no answer Finally Shanna the manager answered I told her about my situation was totally rude & ignorant I told her I wanted my money back she told me to bring food back so that's exactly what I did threw the disgusting half eaten chicken and all and went back for my $33.79. I used to really like this KFC but since the COVID Pandemic it never has been the way it was. This location used to have a KFC Buffet that was reasonable priced and the food wasn't perfect but for the price and being able to eat all you want it was worth it. They shut the Buffet down when COVID hit and have never reopened it and have no intention of ever reopening the Buffet so like most people I very rarely ever go there. It used to be during the Nuffet days the parking lot was usually crowded but now lots of times there are only two or three cars there. The price is way too high for the quality and quality of the food and I can't recommend anyone go there. There are much better choices in the Lawrenceburg/Aurora area. I don't know how this location remains in business I saw a couple months ago the Batesville location closed and I can't imagine this location lasting Unless they being back the Buffet and do things better than they are doing it now. They really came through for us - when Kroger didn't - 2 hours before a birthday party - I called Krogers to ask if I can pick up my order an hour earlier - A lady in the deli named Kathy said she shut down the fryer - and there isn't an order - I placed my order a day in a half ago with a man named Nick , who had my name and phone number - He was there - she said he was the assistant Manager --- when I called KFC- a very helpful person - said let's see what we can do -asked the manager and took our large order and had it done - in 1 in a half hour--they saved the day ! The food on the buffet is very good. If you need something, just ask. The dining room and the outside recently got a facelift. I think the inside has suffered a bit. There's so many bugs flying around inside. It's not very clean either. The women's bathroom has two stalls, one of which the flusher was broke on. There wasn't any soap on the soap dispenser. I imagine the ladies working there were also unable to wash their hands along with anyone visiting the restroom during their meal. We're all using the same serving spoons at thr buffet. The men's room didn't even have a door nob. It was a busy Saturday The featured new mountain dew advertised on thr building, drive thru and employee shirts was out of order along with the root beer and the tea. Sweet tea goes with chicken. I was disappointed. The biscuits were like hollow hickey pucks. Usually, the biscuits are soft and flaky. A few things are missing from the new bar too. Horrible service not a single employee inside is wearing gloves one person that's bagging food was eating and licking their fingers then bagging up more food. Pop was bad, best part was they are out of chicken only a portion of my family was able to get food because KFC had no chicken. This is seriously a joke of a KFC. Will never come back here. This is a KFC location in the middle of the historic section of Lawrenceburg. This is one of the only (actually the only) KFC buffet that I know of in the region. They have all of the necessary KFC fare like the mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits, and a few that isn't part of their normal sides like cornbread stuffing. They of course had both their original and extra crispy chicken on there as well. I'm an extra crispy guy myself and it has hot and fresh to make it even better. The other items on the buffet were also fresh and the staff did a great job of keeping everything stocked as it was a Saturday that we visited and was reasonably busy. The only thing I didn't really like was the stuffing but it's more of a personal taste thing as I don't really like cornbread stuffing (gets a little too mushy for me). In any case this is a very delicious, and inexpensive (it was $7.95 per person for my visit and that was on a Saturday). The store was clean and the staff was awesome rounding out a great KFC visit. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard that select Kentucky Fried Chicken's have a buffet option. I knew this was something I had to try. I'm not a big KFC eater, but on the rare occasion I get a craving for it, it really his the spot. I really wanted to try one in Kentucky. Come on, Kentucky Fried Chicken, actually in Kentucky. Since the Lawrenceburg location is over an hour closer to my home than the buffet on Kentucky; Lawrenceburg it is. The price for the buffet was very reasonable. The price even included drinks. There is a cold buffet with various salads and sides, and a hot buffet with chicken and sides. Both also had dessert. The cold buffet had jello. The hot buffet had cobbler and cinnamon rolls. I never got to the desserts, I was too full form all the other food. The size of the buffet itself is rather small. Don't let this fool you. There are small containers of many options. The containers are constantly being refilled, meaning the food is fresh. The extra crispy chicken and coleslaw were my two favorites. I am too embarrassed to write how much of the two I really ate. It's a good thing that this location is farther away than I would normally travel for a meal. If it was closer my pants may cease to fit. The home fries weren't as good as I have had at other KFC's. Not as crispy. My husband had the iced tea to drink, and it bothered his stomach. We went during an odd hour and the place was about half full. This KFC is one of the last buffets near Cincinnati. They have a cold buffet with salads, cottage cheese, bean & pea salads, etc. They have a warm buffet with 3 kinds of chicken, mashed potatos, gravy, corn, greens, okra, etc. There is usually a couple warm fruit cobblers (really sweet). Soft drinks are also self-serve. The place does a big local business since its a lot of bang for the buck. It is west of the casino, so a lot of the gamblers never pass it. read more

Nice and polite workers. But they ran out of chicken! The one piece that caught me eye was apparently two days old according to the cashier. Father's Day and you do not order extra chicken from your supplier. So we ordered the sides and biscuits. Get home and the biscuits are hard. We had to heat them up to soften. We've been eating at this KFC for several years and today was the worst chicken we've ever had! We had a coupon for (meal for two) that included 5 pieces of mixed chicken, 2 coleslaw, 2 mashed potatoes and 2 biscuits and we were told it wasn't applicable at this location however we used a coupon a couple weeks ago....no problem! They agreed to honor the coupon and we were very appreciative. We arrived at our picnic location to find our coleslaw was missing and the chicken that was supposed to be crispy was more like original with grease literally dripping out of it....disgusting, evidently they scraped the bottom of the barrel.....didn't make for a great Sunday afternoon picnic! The only buffet left in the tri-county area. They have a great buffet that offers salad, chicken (in addition they have a special type of chicken each day) a nice selection of vegetables and a couple of desserts (not my favorite), They give seniors a discount, the cost even before discount is very reasonable (drink included) If you like the chicken, mash potatoes, coleslaw and biscuits, this is the place to go. read more

This kfc used to be the best. The employees are totally incompetent. They can not understand simple request or alterations to items. I've gone a few times when I was charge for the wrong order, my order was wrong, food was cold or inedible. They should fire all the staff and start over. read more
