I was in the lobby to pick up an order. An eldery couple was there waiting for their food. They had been there at least 15 mins already. They asked about their order and the guy said "we are busy with drive thou" then they called out the order I was picking up. I said they were here first and said mine was an online order. I called the hotline and was refered to their online site. When I complained about the way people inside the store were treated I was told to take it up with the online ordering company. The food is really good and it's worth the wait. They don't let food sit around getting cold so if you go in and it's not during prime times expect a wait but that's ok by me - I know it's gonna be hot and fresh! The ambiance is KFC all the way! Great job guys! read more

OK, for those who have followed me, you all may know that I've been to a couple of KFC's of late. This one proves a my theory. My previous visit to a Marietta KFC was lack luster and the flavors were wanting. I questioned whether or not the Murietta location was trying to stretch their batter mix. At this lication I ordered chicken and it was fantastic! The batter was perfect crispy and full of flavor as I expected. The store was clean the staff was extremely friendly and efficient my order was perfect and in standard KFC expectation. Well done! read more

Every single time I've eaten here in the last few months items have been forgotten from my order. Would definitely not recommend this KFC to anyone. I had the drumstick/thigh special for $5.00 and it was AWFUL!! I ended up throwing it away, and believe me, that is not something I like to do for SO MANY reasons. It was like eating a BIG MELTED PIECE of GREASE! SO GROSS! I made the comment to my husband when he brought it home for me, "Geez! They gave you enough napkins! Why would a person EVER need THAT MANY napkins?!" Well, now I see why they did. I used every one of those napkins, PLUS some I had here at home to try and get some of the grease off the chicken, so I could attempt to eat it! They were all completely saturated with grease. I used SEVEN from KFC, and TWO more from home to no avail. If you like SUPER GREASY chicken, this is your place! (For some reason this review is showing that the service could improve. I didn't check that in my end. We had issues with the app and weren't sure if we would be charged twice or not. My husband said the Gen. Employees are always friendly. However, even though they're asked to leave the biscuit out, they include it 99% of the time. I haven't liked their biscuits since they changed to this style over 30 years ago lol. (Back when you had both potatoes & gravy and coleslaw included in a meal & they sold corn in the cob. (Yes I'm old) The biscuit isn't a huge issue in the end, it's just a waste of food if they include it. No discount is even expected for leaving it out. read more

Ordered online as looked like I could go inside to pick up rather than sit in the drive thru...what a joke! Two employees were outside smashing boxes and could see I tried to go inside but sign on door says have to use drive thru. Wow another 120 minute wait for pretty dried out chicken. Got to the window and told the gal how we had ordered online and then had to get in the drive thru line and she said oh no you were supposed to call and we would have brought out to you. Why didn't the two employees that were enjoying their smokes while smashing boxes bother to ask if I needed help? The dirtiest KFC ever. The guy who took our order was in the greasiest, filthiest clothes I ever saw and he had an attitude. My husband and I ordered the same thing except one was crispy and one original. When the order came up we clearly heard the guy who took the order ask the cook which one was which and she said, clear as a bell, "They'll figure it out!" Really, really nice. The previous review was the OLD kfc, which had been going downhill for many years. The NEW kfc is like a night & day difference. However, they're always so busy it's best to check your order before you leave the window. They've goofed three times lol, I can deal with it as they're not huge mistakes--like undercooked chicken--but things like forgetting the cookie, putting a thigh in instead of the breast, getting the "wrong" food in the wrong box etc. My mom, however, does not deal well with even minor goofs. I've had to leave home, go pick her up, take her back to the restaurant, so she can get the right thing; (How do you tell your old picky mother to suck it up and deal with it? She'll just throw her food away and not eat.) resulting in my food being cold. The staff at this new one are always friendly and seem to genuinely like their jobs and they look like they're having fun working there. read more

I don't understand how you can tear down the old building, build another KFC (this time with a drive through) and let the new building get so worn in so short a time. The tables are always dirty. It takes them forever to get your order, and then 3/4 times the order is wrong. And quite often they're out of something. read more

So long as you do not actually expect them to have the food item you want in stock, are not turned off by till staff with filthy uniforms, do not expect clean tables, and expect an average wait time of 12-18 minutes in the drive thru, then by all means go. Do not order online through KFC it means nothing. Ordered at 4:53 for 6:45 pickup. Pickup apparently means inside because there were no signs where to park for 'pickup' outside. Got there at 6:42. Kids finally came out with the order at 6:57. I called to complain and they were sorry but they had big orders. Never did understand how their big orders backed up my order. About 2 weeks ago I stopped in to grab dinner for myself. After ordering I proceeded to wait 45 min to get my food. They were busy and one of the management staff came around giving everyone waiting a free meal coupon and apologizing for the wait. She explained that they were training some new employees which I get so I just patiently waited and declined their free meal coupon. My first thought was everyone would get their food quicker if the management staff would pitch in instead of walking around the lobby giving out coupons but what do I know. Today I decided to get food for the family but learning from the last experience I decided to order in advance from their website to eliminate the wait. After ordering I put the pick-up time 30 minutes out to eliminate the wait and preceded to leave my home just before the time it was to be ready. After arriving and letting them know I was there for an online order I proceeded to wait. After 25 minutes after the time it was to be ready the finally gave me my food. It was a large order and was packaged well in tied bags. I asked if it was everything and was told yes so I left and brought it home. To my disappointment we were missing all the biscuits and fries so back I had to go. After getting there I then waited 15 more minutes for the food that was supposed to be in the bag the first time. I give 2 stars because the food was good and the employees nice. read more

9/10 they are always out of grilled chicken. This I do not understand!!! It is something that is in demand, but not so in demand that they can't keep it in stock. I am very frustrated. Also, they have such a reputation for not keeping the place clean. If I were the owner(s) I would certainly check into it. Once a year I get a hankering for KFC. I remember my youth and have fond memories. Memories should just stay that way. This outlet including a couple of others earn the one star rating. The chicken has gotten smaller but holding the same amount of dripping grease. They claim to have fresh ingredients but the chicken was cooked to mushiness. The help is still poorly trained high school students who range to the the unknowing to down right surly. One of the sides were not ready so were not ordered. Butter and honey was not offered for the biscuit. Two small napkins given out and were soon drenched in grease and no more available. The atmosphere was sort of train station empty. with the only music coming out of the kitchen from a radio. No Manager was in sight. The restroom doors were darkened with grease stains, the insides of the bathroom were dirty and chipped. let's see if my memory will last more than another year. I can't understand why such a large franchise like KFC/Pepsico can't stay competitive with their once equals - give it back the the Colonel . read more
