Placed an order for 2 pot pie boxes and a taste of KFC, for delivery. There were no pot pies at all, the taste of KFC had individual sides that were for the kid meals because they were 3 teaspoonful of corn and potatoes no gravy on it and not even full to the top of the container. Can't call the store because the phone just constantly rings (757) 887-1477 no one answers and the biscuits were white no color to them but so hard no way to eat them. Came to this KFC to order dinner- it is 918 pm. Sign says they close at 10 pm. The Wendy's next door has a line wrapped around the building in the drive thru....pull up to order and immediately we were told "just so you know anything your about to order is going to take 30 minutes- we are about to close. ?????? How is it this location is about to close at 918 when it says they close at 10 pm. This is why there are no customers. Your staff are chasing them away. Today is July 17, 2021. Like...you even have to make sure they have given you the right amount of PIECES. Counting? Not their strong suit. Politeness? NOT their strong suit. Having chicken cooked?! NOT THEIR STRONG SUIT. I mean, I just can't. Their food is usually good. But you have to check. This particular evening, after saying mashed potatoes for both of my sides, SEVERAL times per her request, 1/2 mashed potatoes still managed to be absent. Worst experience ever, went in tonight 2/22/18 @ 6:15pm. get told 16 minutes for pot pies, ordered an 8 piece meal instead and ended up waiting in line in drive thru for 30 minutes, told we were waiting on biscuits. Finally brought out food and it was missing the 1/2 gallon of tea. No receipt. We ask for receipt and get a different cars receipt take that in they have to dig the receipt out of the garbage and then the person goes on handling food without washing their hands. We get home open the biscuits, they wre round like golf balls and they are not even cooked inside. Pull them apart and still doughy and stringy. Have now called 7 times and only get hubg up on, noone can be bothered to answer the phone at 8pm at night. They don't even rate one star should be a negative 5stars for lack of cleanliness, no customer service and poor cooking standards. Im even debating calling the health department on them. read more

The thing about this place is that they almost NEVER have grilled chicken. That's the only thing that I ever want when I come here. I always ask for the $5 fill up with grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and a raspberry iced tea ( the iced tea is banging). half the time I just leave when they don't have the grilled chicken and sometimes I'm just like whatevs and get the crispy chicken. I was told one time before by a staff member that KFC are trying to do away with the grilled chicken but the huge sign outside still promotes it. First time I went, the cashier didn't hand me my debit card back. I had to ask and she acted confused before she gave it back. I don't know why I decided to go back, but I decided to give their service a second chance. So I ordered the two chicken littles combo. When I got to the window she said the total was $12 and change. I was like, what? For one meal? Then she realized she was wrong. So after paying the right amount she handed me a bag of food. What was in the bag? Coleslaw and potato wedges. Huh? She closed the window so I sat there and waited. She opened it and said "what?" I told her I didn't get my sandwich and she said I didn't order one. She thought I said "bites." I have gotten bad service every time I have been at this location. Three times they didn't give me all the food I ordered. I would try to call the store to let the manager know and no one would pick up the phone. There were also two times that I waited in line only to be passed over and ignored, like I wasn't even standing there. KFC corporate executives need to realize that is you don't pay employees enough and offer enough support, it results in poor service and poor attitudes. They need to give these employees a reason to care about the customers. read more

Came in on 07/04/18 ordered Famous bowl with a side got a side with it and when I got home I realized that my side it was not in the bag so I called and told me they would give me my side next time I come in so I came in on 07/05/18 and ordered a pot pie and asked for a complementary side due to the fact that I didn't get my first side first side on the 4th and she told me no because they were replacing that side that I never received key word replacing I never received anything side on the 4th so can't replace the side I never got and they new they had forgot my side I told her would have been nice to have my side yesterday when I was eating my Famous bowl Worst KFC EVER never coming here again read more

There is at least a 50% chance they will get your order incorrect and you will have to go back. They are always kind and correct it with no hassle but it is not the standard for fast food to get order frequently incorrect. I prefer not to go there and you typically do not get a receipt unless you ask for one in the drive thru. There also is no automated screen for ordering so you really don't know if they got your order correct to begin with and you always have to say it twice to get it right. read more

Very mad rude service . Everything we ordered has a wait time so we just canceled but instead. When we said we would like to cancel she just stopped responding didn't say ok or anything . But just pulling up made us just want to pull off because you could just tell in her tone she was rude like she did not want to be there . That's not my fault you do not like your job but by her tone and the way she talks I'm sure y'all lost plenty of customers just from her and of course not having any food ready at a FAST FOOD restaurant. we purchased two five boxes with thighs and legs. We waited for potato wages in one box. The chicken appeared to be old, over cooked , cold and hard. I called back to the store, and was told that I must come back with the food and they would replaced the items. my questions was, why did the server place the poor quality food in the box. Horrible horrible service. We came here once and we will never be back. We went through the drive thru and ordered 4 chicken sandwiches, 2 classic, 2 spicy, both classics with extra sauce and a meal with a large drink. They asked us to wait 8 mins for the sandwiches which we are fine with. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for them. Once we got them, I opened the bag and they forgot our fries, opened up the sandwich bags and all of them were classic, no spicy, no extra sauce but 2 of them with NO sauce instead, and a medium drink instead of a large. The girl who took our order was very rude when we asked her to correct it and it was just an absolutely horrible experience all around. I don't know why I should ever waste my money here again. Literally all you have to is follow the order so I don't know what it's so hard. Don't waste your time at this location. Please get your employees in check. read more

Ordered my food at 730, was told it would be a 16 minutes wait for chicken, and ended up waiting 45 minutes just to get the food order messed up. They gave us another side rather than the requested potato wedges. I was then told that there would be an additional wait for wedges, and then they didn't cook the wedges, so when confronted, I was told it would be an additional 7 minutes. Today I purchased a big box combo. I was charged $9.35. I gave the drive thru clerk a twenty dollar bill and .35 I should have received $11.00 in change. The clerk gave me $10.70 instead. When I explained that the amount was .60 short he stated that I had only given him a twenty dollar bill.. I asked to speak to the manager, who after hearing my explanation stated that it was too bad there was nothing he could do. I will never darken the door of any KFC this is the second incident in a row with two franchises both located in Newport News, Va. in a week. This was the worst service I have ever received from any fast food place in a long time we waited in line for ten minutes then had to wait another five minutes for the cashier to take our order and during that time the cashier walked away multiple times and was very rude and unpleasant we were then informed after I had paid that there would be an additional ten minute wait for our hot wings.. Went to the drive thru about 7:15pm and ordered a #3 Breast and Wing meal. I got to the window and my food almost beat me there. Fast!.....but what good is fast if the order is incorrect? I got the Breast but no wing and as expensive as it is to eat out, I want what I pay for. I tried calling them several times but no answer. I placed my order about 5:42pm, was told the chicken would take 15 minutes as I ordered an 8 piece bucket of all dark mean, sides were supposed to be mashed potatoes with gravy and cole slaw, I finally got my order at 6:11pm, when I got home, I had the chicken, but the sides were green beans and corn, which I didn't order, I told the sides at the order site and again at the window. When I called the store, spoke to a manager, she said I could come back and get the sides, I said not tonight no, so the sides are there for me to pick up another time. what is going on with customer service there? lying to customers about the time it takes for the item to cook and then providing the wrong items, expecting the customer to want to use their gas and time to come back and get what they ordered and should've received.
