Service - the people working did not look happy to be there or hygenic, one had just come back from a 'smoke' break out back and looked very disheveled. It's fast food, so in order to get above a 3 you have to bring it! They were on par and that is just fine. Location is around 2 miles outside of Ft. Eustis Army Base. This location is brand spanking new, I assume within the year anyway. It looks attractive on the inside and outside. No debris in the parking lot, or sidewalks. I went in at around 3:30 PM on a Saturday and expected it to be dead and it was. No wait, order taken promptly. Some fumbling with the FREE Frosty seems to be the norm at most Wendy's, no big deal it was honored after a manger got involved. The dining room was clean and almost empty. This cannot always be said for fast food restaurants, so I was happy to see this. Trash bins were within their boundaries is another sight to behold. The order came out correctly and tasted good. Ketchup in the dispensers was not coming out and I alerted the staff who proceeded to give me packets. I was there for around 30 minutes and purposely watched to see if it ever got refilled. Considering they were not busy it should have been done promptly after me alerting them I thought. It never got done. I would return again. read more

They make so so food at best. The payment was quick but I was told thank you in a way that very clearly meant drive away! I was very quickly looking in the bag since it wouldn't be the first time they made a mistake. And in the end, rather than "no ketchup," there was so much it went all over my trousers. You know, I'm never excited about going to a chain, fast food restaurant... But when we walked in this Wendy's I was shocked! The place looks brand new on the inside, with a modern layout and even a fake fireplace to help the ambiance. Actually, I usually refuse to eat inside of fast food restaurants just because they make me feel gross (they're usually dirty or old or loud) but this one actually made me want to stay. Wendy's, you're doing it right here! Our meal was prepared fresh, was hot, and everything on the order was correct. Was really tasty, too; it'd been a while since I last had a fast food burger. The staff was also very kind, and even welcomed us as we came in the door... which is unusual for fast food in my past experience. They only small problem I have is that their Yelp page offers a check-in offer of a free frosty, but the workers and management seemed to have no idea what it was. They recommended me to use their Wendy's app and were polite about it, but just wanted to give an FYI to the management to be updated on things like that (or maybe remove it from the page if you can't honor it?). I don't know what it is about the Warwick fast food chains, but there is always something wrong with my order, whether it's for 1 person, or the family of 5. Consistently being bad at fulfilling orders on the basic of things. want a plain cheeseburger, you may get that, but your odds of getting things on there, or not even getting it at all are much greater. if you have a job, and people pay you to do said job, just do it. it's really not that hard. I'm happy with what I got here at this Wendy's. I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised by the burgers we received. I asked the clerk what the two top sellers were. I got both of them and they were scrumptious. The Jalapeño one was really good. I'm actually craving it right now, which is what led me to write this review. Usually, when I get a fast food burger, it's thrown together, looks wonky, feels greasy, and generally isn't pleasant to eat. These burgs were different. Whoever was back there making them, put some effort into the cooking and presentation. Two thumbs up to the cook and preparer! Additionally, a restaurants performance seems to always fall on the manager. The good, the bad, and the ugly. You can't use the excuse that all your employees suck and that's why our restaurant gets terrible reviews. I stop in here regularly for a quick bite. Wendys food quality is always top notch. Of the 3 fast food joints on the same intersection, I frequent Wendys the most. This has to be the worse resturant i've been to in my 36 years of life. When you order through the drive thru, the employees are extremely lazy sounding and rude. When you get to the pay window, some of them wont even look you at all or say a word. When I got to the pick up window, they slung my food out. I said, "have a great day" and the reply was "yep!". Fifteen minutes later my husband had to get out of the car to go get our food and was met at the door by the kid bringing our food. Lame excuse that they only were running one fryer. That would have been nice to know when the order was placed, we would have done something different. To top it off, the tenders were overdone and they messed up on our sauce selection. First of all, I like Wendy's. This particular one is the closest to my house so I went here a lot. My last time there was a couple weeks ago. I ordered food there with my two boys as usual. While my order was being prepared, the girl who took my order accidentally dropped the french fry scoop on the floor. She then put it back in the fry bin without washing it. I told her she can't do that and that she should clean it before putting it back in the fry bin. At this point I knew I was not eating there tonight. I asked for a manager. When he came I asked for my money back which he gave me and we went to McDonald's instead. I know dropping it on the floor was an accident, but putting it back in the fry bin (in front of a customer no less) was either a lack of sufficient training or common sense. Or maybe she was just having an off night, who knows? I know things are bound to happen when a restaurant is mostly staffed with people under 25, but I have not been able to bring myself back to this restaurant yet. This is Wendy's at its best. This joint is right outside the Ft. Eustis Warwick gate. Many a lunch visits have I and many a co-workers made. Hey, my wife is even a fan! This Wendy's is fast, fast, fast! They put the F in Fast Food. The drive-thru is so efficient is not even funny. They move customers in and out with blazing speed and my order has always been accurate. The quality of their menu items is always fresh too. I've never had a burger that seemed to have been sitting around dieing under a heat lamp or on a warming plate. I have to admit, weekends are not so busy since the majority of their weekday customers I assume come from the base. But the food remains just as good. This one's a keeper! read more

first i went thru the drive thru at 10:10 and nobody answered me at the speaker(i was there for 5 minutes) ...then i continued to go around and its 3 cars infront of me then they answer ..we then ordered and asked for two honey butter biscuits and a maple honey butter croissant on a biscuit instead...so we received the food and pulled over to check the food. they gave us all plain chicken biscuits...we then pulled back around and the lady was looking me like i was dumb when telling what was wrong. then told us no we wanted it plain because they didn't have honey butter ...we were confused because no one told us that. we took the biscuits and she just put the bacon on mine. the biscuits are hard and the biscuit is dry ...would not recommend. Every time I have gone to this Wendy's I have been pleased. The staff is eager to please, and I have even witnessed the cooks coming off the line to take my order when it is busy. Top it off with a shift leader or manager coming around to check on my satisfaction!? You have a winner. read more

The food was good not a lot of condiments on the burgers. The reason they get one start the fat black chick with red in her braids was rude. She had an attitude when I was ordering. When I asked received my food she pretty much threw the bag at me and there was no ketchup in the bag when I asked for ketchup at the speaker box . I had to sit for about 2 mins before she acknowledge me because I waited at the window when I asked her for ketchup she acted like I asked her to put my kids through college and to paint my house. As a restaurant Wendy's is only a 3.5 for me but this one is beyond that. The management must have an eye for good customer service because this place blows other Wendy's away consistently. How good, let's just say as a general rule I prefer Hardee's, Burger King, and Rally's over Wendy's but all three are nearby and I choose this Wendy's over them because the staff at the other three simply doesn't compare. Customer service standards in the restaurant field have fallen dramatically..its good that a few places still understand that good food is only part of the equation. Just ordered the new mozzarella chicken sandwich and there was NO mozzarella cheese on it!! Also ordered an Asiago chicken sandwich for my friend and she got a burger!! Plus no receipt. If they didn't have mozzarella cheese then they should let the customer know and also pay attention to the orders!! read more

If you enjoy Wendy's food I would assume you will enjoy this Wendy's food. The food at Wendy's is the same no matter where you go in my opinion. I'm only writing this review because of the customer service, this is my second time here at this location and both times they have been extremely friendly and personable. Always greeted upon entering which is such a small but nice gesture. The lady today went out of her way to find a toy for my baby( a cute little board book). I went there for lunch today and I admittedly didn't have a lot of time. I was grossly mistaken thinking that this was a "fast" food establishment. It took forever to order (sitting at the speaker for 10 minutes) with no courtesy to say they'll be a minute. I ordered, then to pay I asked if I could switch my drink to no ice. She said just wait till you get to the next window. Then I get my food, they've messed the sauce up and told me to pull forward to get a drink with no ice. It's been another 10 minutes waiting for a drink of all things and I get called back to work without the drink I paid for. What takes so long about a drink that I tried to fix at the first window. I'm very unimpressed with losing money for something I never recieved. read more

Blown away by the cleanliness, of both the facility and the staff. Clean enough to preform surgery in there. Food was good, and there's a fireplace and a big screen tv in there. Like another reviewer said, a Wendy's is really only worth a 3.5, but this one is heads and shoulders above the rest. read more
